General Information

At 390ml, our Sipper trainer cup is ideal for keeping active toddlers happy and hydrated all day. Designed with toddlers in mind, the ergonomic design allows your toddler to easily carry their bottle on family outings. The resilient bite-resistant spout is extra durable, while the leak-proof spout means less clean ups and more carefree fun and comes with a removable hygiene cover. Featuring INTELLIVALVE™, a unique anti-leak technology which guarantees this trainer cup is completely leak-proof as it withstands internal pressure meaning the cup won't leak even when it is turned upside down or shaken. Our unique valve both seals and regulates the flow of liquid to stop leaks and to ensure easy drinking. With hygiene at the forefront of everyone's minds our drinking bottles add an extra layer of reassurance as the drinking spout contains BACSHIELD™ antibacterial technology. BACSHIELD™ is a commonly used silver-ion technology that provides antibacterial product protection against unwanted bacteria, recognised for centuries with no harmful effects. It works by preventing the growth of unwanted microbes that can cause product degradation, discoloration, staining or odour. This is achieved with silver ions mixed in the material on the spout*, preventing microbes from multiplying. All our products are BPA, BPS, PVC, Phthalate and Nitrosamine free. *Independent laboratory testing demonstrated a 99.9% reduction in bacteria after 24 hours. **The semisoft part of the spout contains silver phosphate glass, tested to ISO 22196 standards.

It did take abit for him to work out how to suck out of the straw but once he worked it out he loved it. It doesn’t leak or spill so I don’t need to worry about him dropping it or chucking it and it spills.

It is a bit of a pain to take apart and clean, however all the straw bottles are like this to clean properly. I did find it was a little bit more resistant to suck the water than some others we have used. It was a bit hard to teach my 8 month old, she hasn't mastered it yet, however my 3 year old loves the bottle appearance and colour so much she seems to always want to use it when she sees it out and it is easy for her to use.

I actually find him reaching for the water bottle more often when it’s in this one. Maybe because it’s new and the novelty of it entices him but regardless he loves it! So it’s a win for us

He loves to suck on the straw so so far we are loving this bottle and would definitely recommend it to others.

The weighted straw makes such a difference with bubs actually getting to their drink with the straw always dropping to the lowest point. Good quality build as all their products are. The straw folds under a little flip top style lid and I do wonder if this will wear on the straw over time with constant use. Otherwise fairly simple to clean and no leaks so far with it falling, thrown, upside down and sideways!

This cup is really good quality and my son loves it. So much so that I went and bought a second. Highly recommend for little ones that are not into sipper cups that you have to tip for flow!

I love that it is weighted, with an angled base and a cute little star on the end of the straw so that no matter the angle the bottle is tipped on the water will always come out easily. The handles are a great size and shape for little hand. It's a perfect bottle for bed time. I love the new colours. Super easy to clean and the design inside the lid helps to keep the bottle clean and not cause mold.

My daughter is 8 months old and is still working out the straw function (she gives it a hell of a go at the moment) but this is going to be a great cup once she figures it out. Great quality and colour and the handles make for ease of holding. The flip lid protects the straw and stops it from getting dirty with travel etc.

The only thing that didn't work was a cap - it fall off during the first use and never held in place since.

Small enough for his little hands, but big enough we can go out to the shops without needing a refill. The hard spout means that my toddler won’t break it by chewing on it like he has with all the soft plastic ones. Super easy to pull apart to clean I would have preferred the lid be attached somehow, as it could get lost very easily. Also would like to see the liquid measurements so I know how much he’s had to drink.

I love the feel of the bottle- the lid just glides on. Not a fan of the brown colour, but it can be easily disguised by baby's food! My first two kids used this brand at daycare, and it's been praised as 'the only spill-proof brand.' The same is true for this new version. Very pleased. Spill proof is so helpful. As with most drink bottles, I find that the pieces inside the mouth piece get mouldy easily over time. Regular cleaning, sanitizing or replacing is necessary, but still my favourite spill-proof cup by far.

It's a great design because the bottle itself doesn't leak or break (even when thrown off the highchair), it has a lid to keep the mouthpiece clean, and is easy to take apart to clean so you know there is no bacteria hiding anywhere. My 9 month old is used to a cup with a straw but it didn't take him long to figure how to bite down and suck to get the water from this cup. A good size, easy for bubs to hold and the colour and design is really cute!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good quality but a little complicated [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have wanted to try this type of sappy cup for a while but was always turned off by the seemingly complicated set up and nooks and crannies that could be difficult to clean and harbour mould. At this stage my son is 1 and is not yet drinking from a straw but the cup does seem sturdy and well made and did survive a trip in the dishwasher. The antibacterial features is a plus but it doesn't specify how long this lasts or how exactly it's effective so I'm not sure that would ease my fears about cleaning all the parts. I'll give this a better go when my son prefers straws but at the moment I do prefer a simpler sippy cup for ease of cleaning.

I have been training him , however, not much luck in getting him to drink water from this bottle. Flow of water is quite controlled and I don't get spills when the bottle tips over. He loves to chew on it though I'm not sure if he is actually getting any water out of it. We will keep trying but this is very easy for him to hold and is aldo frequently dropped on the floor with no spillage so thats good.

The cup has a cute and lightweight design, and the handles make it easier for little hands to hold and manipulate. My son hasn't yet mastered drinking from the cup as it needs to be lifted up to get any water out, so we need to help him use it. Just wish the lid was attached somehow as this has already been lost

The cup doesn't spill when tipped upside down. It only requires a light sucking motion to get water. This is nice because some other sippy cups we find require too much sucking motion to get water. I would prefer if the handles were a little lower down.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good quality but a bit of work to clean [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Tommy Tippee Superstar cup can be used from 6 months plus and comes with all the accessories needed to clean it including a little brush used to clean the straw. It seals well and is easy enough to assemble but is a bit of work to clean thoroughly as it has a straw. Generally there are two types of people, those that love straws for their little one and those that don't. We prefer not to use straws in our household so this wasn't ideal for us but as far as straw cups go, it did the job and very well.

In all honestly i would rather a soft teat as these babies are wild. The hard teat always gets them frustrated because they cant suck the water out. Maybe just my twins but other than the teat, its a cute cup and water flow through the teat is good if your baby is experienced using a sippy cup. I think mine need abit more practice.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It’s an okay straw cup [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really wanted to like this sippy cup as I really like all of Tommy tippee products but unfortunately it took me about 10 minutes just to figure out how to assemble all the pieces together. Who knew a sippy cup could have a total of five pieces! It’s a bit of a pain to clean when you have to take all the pieces apart and put them back together again, but I guess it’s because of the way it’s designed. It’s a very aesthetically pleasing bottle and I’m keeping it as a spare bottle at my mum’s place in case I ever forget bubs other one but in terms of every day use will stick with my b box ones.

Seems difficult to drink water from this bottle/straw. Baby prefer a sippy cup from another brand. The seal isn't very well and it leaked, luckily it was just water so didn't cause a huge mess. Received as part of the Tell Me Baby trial box. Won't recommend this cup.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Love the decreased backwash [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've been trialing this bottle for a while now since 4 months. With milk and water as my LO is so fussy! Finally, LO has taken to water and started really enjoying their Bbox one. I prefer this one as it's got less backwash. Every sip of the bbox gives backwash which is gross! But for some reason the LO hates this sippy cup! Only down side was they threw the cup, as they do which distorted the lid meaning the cup started leaking. Also, it can be hard to put together again and if you don't, it can leak or be hard to drink out of. (Last pic is literally of the LO swatting the cup away)
