From the little screen to the customisable light and program settings, this brush actually made me brush my teeth more often and for longer! Has a fantastic timer to guide you, various settings such as Sensitive or Whitening and so easy to use. It also comes with its own carry case, a spare head and a storage capsule that holds 2 heads. Packaging also makes this product feel very special.

What I have experienced with this toothbrush is incredible and it has really raised the bar in this market. The LED display and lighting is great as well as the numerous functions available to personalise to suit you. I found that the noise level was much quieter than what I currently use and it gave me a feeling of a much better overall clean as well. I do suffer from a bit of gingivitis occasionally and loved the ability to use a sensitive setting for my gums. Partner all this with an app and it delivers much more than an ordinary toothbrush. It gives you great feedback on your brushing technique and provides tips to improve your oral care regimen. I can’t recommend this enough to people and those that still manually clean and brush. A fantastic, modern and easy to use product from Oral-B!!

I love the 2 minute brushing timer and the fact that you can personalise the light colour. They are a couple of things that although aren't necessary, they add a 'special touch'. I also like the sleek design, which helps water run off and not get trapped in places and smell/stain like other brushes I've had. It is also quiet and vibrates well so that you aren't left with a headache! Overall, I feel that the price is very high compared to others on the market that do the same job.

BUT I can honestly say my teeth have never felt this clean and I genuinely mean that. From the moment you unbox it you can feel this is a premium item the build quality is great, you can tell that they've really thought about the user in the design, simple things like the charger and brush body is so much easier to clean this versus the more basic supermarket variety. The Bluetooth connection to your phone with the guided brushing app I found really useful. It's a little nerdy, sure, but it yields results. At the beginning I asked myself who would buy such an expensive toothbrush?? by the end of my test I knew who would - Me.

It's easy to set up and it's rechargeable. I love having no batteries to worry about! I found it's partner app really simple to install and use (on iPhone). This is really one of the bonuses of this toothbrush - using the app and toothbrush in tandem gives me confidence that I've brushing my teeth thoroughly and that I'm not too hard on my gums or teeth. The toothbrush also has a light that changes colour to let you know when you're too rough if you don't feel like using the app. My teeth are very clean and I'm happy!

But boy I was wrong!! Super lightweight to hold, the smart technology to signal too much or too little pressure is a game changer. Love that there are different modes. Can not believe how white my teeth are from using the whitening mode. The charge lasts for ever. Really sleek design with easy to use settings. This has taking brushing teeth to a whole new level

The motor movement is more similar to the professional dentist cleaning equipment, leave the teeth ultra clean feeling. It also can sense the pressure, signal you if you put too much or not enough pressure, which is very useful. Another aspect that is surprising for me is the gamification part. I started using it with the OralB app when brushing my teeth. It showing me in real time, where I am brushing and if I did enough brushing or not. Its like a real time challenge, I just want to achieve 100% coverage all the time! And since I started using the app, my average brushing time is always around 2:30, and it gives me confident that my teeth is clean. Definitely recommend you use the toothbrush with the app!

I was impressed that it was noticeably better than my existing Braun Pro 2 2500. I felt that the iO series 8 gave me a better more thorough clean and was quieter, more smooth and gentler. The different brushing modes are also a plus! The smiley face on the display to welcome and provide user feedback makes brushing more enjoyable.

I'd read about it online (c-net, my favourite tech site gave it best high-end electric toothbrush for 2021) and was very interested in seeing how it performed vs other electric and manual options. Right from the unboxing, it didn't disappoint. The packaging is quite premium and it felt like I was opening something quite special. Even the included travel case is impressive, both in the material and the way it opens. When I finished unpacking and switching it on for the first time, the toothbrush told me it needed a firmware update! Certainly a first for me in a bathroom product and very cool from a techie point of view. I downloaded the app (yes, there's an app) and the iO 8 dutifully updated it's firmware and then we were ready to go. What a brush! 7 different brush modes, a guided brush via the app, pressure sensors and feedback, it's incredible. Totally converted from manual brushing now!

I was always hesitant to pay more for a toothbrush but have been pleasantly surprised. The direct drive compared to the cheaper older models is incredible. I would say its a great happy medium between oscillating and sonic brushes. My teeth have not had that just left the dentist feeling apart from doing just that. I now have this feeling twice a day. In saying that I gave up on the bundled app a day or two after use as I find it to be a novelty. I do however like the different intensities and modes available on the brush itself. The charging station is also a huge upgrade cleaning it is simple and painless. The included travel case and brush head holder are also welcome upgrades from my previous mid range oral-b. It does annoy me slightly that the brush heads are different (because now I have a lifetime supply of the older style in the cupboard!) however do understand. Awesome product

I was very surprised at the features and all the elements that ultimately give my teeth a better clean. Can easily tell if pushing too hard or too soft. Toothbrush itself gives a really good clean. I found the packaging very appealing, it was like unboxing a mobile phone! The pairing with the app process was easy and completed quickly. I enjoyed the guiding process through the toothbrushing and felt it gave me a good understanding of complete brushing. After using it a couple of times I didn’t need the guided approach anymore. I liked the inbuilt timer, very useful. I like the ability to change the sensitivity setting. In terms of brushing result I was impressed- definitely feel like a complete and more effective brush. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using another high end electric toothbrush and I was sceptical thinking that this one wouldn’t be too different. But I was wrong, I just love all the setting mostly I love the sensitivity settings. My old brush lacked this setting and having to endure my whole head vibrate just before bedtime night after night wasn’t a pleasant experience. I had reverted back to using a manual toothbrush for the evenings. But no more! The Oral B io is so amazing and I love the app it really helps me to be a more vigilant brusher.

It tells you how long to brush and makes sure you do all areas. It is very stylish, and comes with extras like new brush, great cover for if you go away. I haven't used a Electric Toothbrush for a very long time. But this brush is light and very easy to use. It guides you along so you give you teeth an amazing clean. I would strongly recommend that you all go out and purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using Oral B electric toothbrushes for many years, however, this is by far the most impressive. Works well, cleans deeply, has many options. Pros: Magnetic charger. Useful options to choose from App provides useful information Cons: Previous toothbrush heads do not fit this new series (and I have many left over!) Brush needs to be removed after each use for cleaning purposes, both inside the brush and on the stem of the handle as there is a build up of toothpaste. This was not such an issue with the other brushes that just had a stainless "stick" stem which only required rinsing every week or so. Need to take mobile phone into bathroom and turn on app for each use if you wish to maintain daily updates. Very expensive toothbrush.

I didn’t know my teeth could feel so clean. I really love the app connection that guides me to do a better job of cleaning my teeth and I have always just been a once a day cleaner but I am enjoying using this toothbrush so much that I’m now motivated to do a twice a day routine. Currently I am following a whitening program and am really seeing results in just 5 days. Simply marvellous and much easier to keep clean than my previous electronic toothbrush toothbrush.

I love that it’s much more quiet than my old Oral-B electric toothbrush. It’s very easy & clear to use with the digital screen with the different modes including tongue cleaning. Combined with the Oral-B app which allows you to follow where you are brushing, the amount of pressure you’re applying & the coverage of brushing you’re quickly able to adjust & correct your brushing technique. This means less trips to the dentist! The only negatives are (if using the app) to remember to bring your phone with you - but this will become a habit. The second negative is I can’t use the old brushes I’ve already purchased but that’s a first world problem!! My husband also really likes using the new brush. Our teeth have never looked so good!

The different settings and Bluetooth technology are fun and really simple to use. My favourite feature is the inbuilt timer - it motivates you to brush your teeth for a full 2 minutes with a cute smilie face if you get there. The toothbrush felt heavy when I first used it but I quickly got used to it. When you have finished brushing your teeth, you KNOW they are super clean. The brush head still looks new after over a week of using, it looks like it will last a long time before it needs to be replaced. I also like that you receive a replacement head with the device.

The light around the toothbrush, which indicates if you are applying enough pressure is also very useful. I made an effort to make sure I kept it green the whole time. Overall my teeth feel a lot cleaner. The app is also interesting though you need to be near your phone when brushing. It’s probably something I would use on a semi regular basis just to check my teethbrushing coverage. In conculsion, I had not previously considered using an electric toothbrush but am now converted! I cannot recommend this product enough.

I thought I was good with teeth brushing but didn't realise how little time I spent until I used to i0 Series 8. Now I spend the recommended time in each quadrant and even brush longer to ensure a perfect coverage. I am a "gold star" person so the medals that are awarded are perfect. There are so many features that I like about this set up - the timer, the modes, the overall feel. But the best feature is graphic that shows you where you have achieved perfect coverage.

The intensity takes a few goes to get used to, had to start out at sensitive and work up to daily clean. The timer is awesome and love the pulse every 30 seconds to switch sides. Would’ve been great if a gentle head came with it so hubby could try it too

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not a toothbrush but a mouth care system [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I first received the toothbrush for evaluation and set it up I thought ok I already use an older oral b electric brush Hohum but wow how wrong I was.I felt my teeth were clean after brushing using my old brush but after brushing with the I-o there is no comparison. My teeth are cleaned by my dentist every six months and that is how this brush left them feeling squeaky clean. But that is only the start, the pressure indicator I didn’t think I would use after all I have brushed my teeth for 55 years but it is a brilliant idea I have been putting too much pressure on my brush all this time the indicator is easy to see in your peripheral vision so it is really helpful. The timer on the brush also means your brushing is evenly spaced around your mouth and it is simple to connect the toothbrush via blue tooth to your phone to get your brushing data and so let you compare your technique as time goes by. All in all a brilliant brush
