General Information

Sand, sea and sun, the enviable Australian image. Enjoy year-round firm and glowing skin with Bondi Sands Skin Firming Gradual Tanning Lotion. For all skin tones, this nourishing body moisturiser contains a complex of Avocado Extract, Bentonite and Shea Butter to help firm and tighten skin and can be used daily to build a gradual tan.

Warnings

FOR EXTERNAL USE ONLY. WARNING: This product does not contain a sunscreen and does not protect against sunburn. Repeated exposure of unprotected skin while tanning may increase the risk of skin aging, skin cancer and other harmful effects to the skin even if you do not burn. KEEP OUT OF THE SIGHT AND REACH OF CHILDREN. Carry out a patch test 24 hours prior to use. Do not apply to damaged or inflamed skin. If irritation, redness or itchiness occurs, discontinue use. Seek medical attention if irritation persists. If swallowed, get medical attention or contact a Poison Control Centre right away. Keep away from eyes. If material accidentally enters the eye, rinse well with plenty of clean water. Seek medical attention if irritation persists.

Directions

Step 1 For an even, streak free tan, ensure your skin is clean and dry prior to application. Step 2 Apply Bondi Sands Skin Firming Gradual Tanning Lotion evenly to skin in a circular motion. Wait until touch dry before dressing. Step 3 Use daily for firm skin and to build a natural looking tan throughout the year. Wash hands after use.

I don't know if it does have firming effects as I haven't used it long enough but it definitely does build up to a nice tan which isnt too orange and is very flattering to your skin tone.

The gradual tanning element I was a little skeptical of, however I have loved the results every time. No residue, I find it sinks into my skin really well and there is no overbearing fake tan smell I find the scent pleasant. Application is a breeze as it is just like putting moisturiser on at night before bed, just be sure to wash hands after application! And found it also doesn't really transfer to bedding/clothes :u1F970:

It has a soft scent of coconut butter that isn't overpowering but fades to a typical fake tan smell after a few hours. I liked the level of colour I achieved after one application but would more likely use this as a top up to a fake tan application.

Smells super yum while also adding those extra benefits in (skin firming), builds to such a nice colour after a few applications and then only have to top it up every couple of days. It also dries super quick so there's no having to wait around and worry about any streaks appearing from clothing

Be careful about applying it around ankles as it seems to gather in those spots. I was gifted a product sample to trial and review.

Has the classic Bondi Sands gradual tanner scent but unlike the classic version I for sure found my skin felt firmer after a few uses! Builds into a beautiful bronze I didn't find this one to go slightly orange on me. Feels super hydrating and doesn't feel sticky or tacky at all. I'll definitely repurchase this! My skin feels super hydrated, and the firming' label is no joke; i found the skin, specifically on my trouble areas (Tummy, upper thighs) felt much tighter after a few uses. It is the best moisturiser and then you wake up with a tan too - so perfect leading up to summer. Gradual tan usually dries my skin out, but this gave it life and nourishment. Being enriched with Avocado extract, Bentonite and Shea Butter to help firm, smooth and tighten skin. I can see some slight changes in my skin tightening however will have to continue using for awhile for more advance results which I'm happy too do. I love the gradual tan, it gives a beautiful, soft bronzy look. It's very buildable without having the orange look. I apply this everyday without any issues. I really liked this product as it leaves very small room for error with the tan as it is gradual so the final results look great! I could not find any downsides to this product!

Although I don't feel like I need skin firming products, I love the way this made my skin look flawless and felt tight without being uncomfortable, only nourishing. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Big fan! Loved this lotion after just a few uses I could notice the tan and even had others commenting on how great my tan looked. The tan was the perfect shade of bronze (not even a hint of orange), didn't turn out streaky or patchy, didn't smell like fake tan and didn't seem to rub off (something I have experienced with other brands when I wear shin pads at soccer). In addition to the beautiful tan, it's such a smooth and nourishing moisturiser so you definitely get the two benefits in one. I've never been overly convinced by the firming ability of moisturisers, and I'm not sure if it's just due to having the tan, but my skin does look somewhat firmer. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Smooth and glowy The skin firming lotion has become my new go to night time moisturiser. The colour is very natural and buildable but the product doesn't transfer onto sheets on clothes at all. I have found it safe to use on my face and the shea butter and avocado have my skin feeling very smooth after use. I have also tried the other products in this gradual tanning line and have found they all produce a beautiful, light and natural tan that is buildable and fades evenly. All three products can be used in conjunction. For flawless skin I use the firming lotion the night before, the illuminator in the morning and the skin perfecter before I go out. The lotions don't have the same classic Bondi Sands scent as the mousse tans so they are great if you prefer less fragrance. I am extremely satisfied with this line as it makes having a year round tan easy.

I liked that you could build up a gradual sun kissed look and also appreciated that it was very quick and to dry on the skin. I didn't find it stained any clothing and there was no distinct strong smell from the lotion. It didn't irritate my skin or clog pores so great for any skin type. My skin did feel a bit more firmer then usual. The packaging was sleek and easy to use. The instructions on how to use were clear and simple to understand. Lovely product and would recommend to anyone looking to trial out tanning, this would be a great introductory product to try!
