General Information

Sand, sea and sun, the enviable Australian image. Enjoy year-round glowing and radiant skin with Bondi Sands Skin Illuminator Gradual Tanning Lotion. For all skin tones, this nourishing body moisturiser contains shimmer pigments for instant radiance and can be used daily to build a gradual tan.

Warnings

FOR EXTERNAL USE ONLY. WARNING: This product does not contain a sunscreen and does not protect against sunburn. Repeated exposure of unprotected skin while tanning may increase the risk of skin aging, skin cancer and other harmful effects to the skin even if you do not burn. KEEP OUT OF THE SIGHT AND REACH OF CHILDREN. Carry out a patch test 24 hours prior to use. Do not apply to damaged or inflamed skin. If irritation, redness or itchiness occurs, discontinue use. Seek medical attention if irritation persists. If swallowed, get medical attention or contact a Poison Control Centre right away. Keep away from eyes. If material accidentally enters the eye, rinse well with plenty of clean water. Seek medical attention if irritation persists.

Directions

Step 1 For an even, streak free tan, ensure your skin is clean and dry prior to application. Step 2 Apply Bondi Sands Skin Illuminator Gradual Tanning Lotion evenly to skin in a circular motion. Wait until touch dry before dressing. Step 3 Use daily for radiant skin and to build a natural looking tan throughout the year. Wash hands after use.

The gradual tanning lotion has no fake-tan smell as you apply it, but has a slight fake-tan smell the next day (very minimal). Be careful about applying it around ankles as it seems to gather in those spots. I was gifted a product sample to trial and review.

It gives you a nice tan but it also leaves your skin with the most perfect subtle shimmer. It definitely made me feel a bit glam being so glowy, and I did like the build-up over time of the gradual tan as well. I think that I wouldn't use this every day, but as a combo, if I already had a nice tan. The glowy features make me want to apply it to my body before I go out. As soon as I applied it to my body, I had this beautiful summer golden glow. Its the perfect lotion for when you've got an event on and need that shimmer too! My skin feels nourished and healthy when I use the gradual tanning lotion. I am a big fan of the self tan products already but this will be my go-to over summer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from An even tan with a nourishing moisturiser Bondi sands gradual tanners are definitely the best I have come across! This builds up a beautiful bronze after just a few uses and doesn't look fake at all. There was no patchiness, orange tinge or fake tan smell at all and didn't rub off too easily (something I have experienced with other brands when I wear shin pads at soccer). It's also a really nice moisturiser so you're not left feeling dry or looking scaly and I particularly liked this illuminator version for when I was heading on a night out and wanted a bit of shine. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Shimmering sparkling The skin Illuminator produces a beautiful and natural shimmer. The lotion is perfect for every day on the shoulders and chest as an subtle highlight to add some glow and vibrance. The tan is very flattering and low maintenance as it doesn't leave harsh tan lines. I have also tried the other products in this gradual tanning line and have found they all produce a beautiful, light and natural tan that is buildable and fades evenly. All three products can be used in conjunction. For flawless skin I use the firming lotion the night before, the illuminator in the morning and the skin perfecter before I go out. The lotions don't have the same classic Bondi Sands scent as the mousse tans so they are great if you prefer less fragrance. I am extremely satisfied with this line as it makes having a year round tan easy.
