I have been colouring my hair for years and I have always found the process to be messy and time consuming so I am so happy to finally find a product that makes the whole process much easier. Loreal magic retouch has a brush on the end which makes it super easy to comb through the dye for a nice even coverage and it ensured that my roots were well covered. The applicator made colouring my hair so much easier as it stoped the dye from ending up in all the wrong places like on my neck, forehead or ears. It was so good to colour my hair without the mess and the end result was fantastic. I would definitely recommend this product to others!

Instructions were easy to follow and large enough to read without glasses. The disposable gloves were thin but not flimsy (I did end up having one nail go through the tip but was at the end so was ok). There was a slight ammonia smell from the colour gel but once mixed with the developer cream it was hardly noticeable. I choose the brush tip applicator and used a comb to part the hair lines to get good cover of the roots. Only 10 mins later I was hopping into the shower. the colour was a good match. I did feel there wasn’t quite enough product to get the coverage I would’ve liked however considering my greys are notoriously hard to colour I found the result in such a short amount of time pretty good and was overall happy with the product .. I also liked that out didn’t stain my skin around my hair line or ears .. I’d definitely keep a box handy for quick touch ups. Thank you for the opportunity to trial this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was extremely easy to use a it's an identical setup as a normal hair colouring package process. It was also very mess free which is a bonus plus as the brush applicator ensures that consistent amounts are released and no need for other brushes or combs. There was quite a bit of product left over as far a coverage was involved and it's a shame that like all of these hair products you can't store the product.

With regard to the application, the brush was fantastic because it guided me around the hairline and throughout my hair when I was applying the product. The gloves fit well and they didn't stick together. The end result was great, no greys left, however I could have gone a shade lighter. I would have liked to have seen recycling instructions on the actually instructions (to make it fool proof). I did however see it on the flap but had to really look for it. Overall it was a quick easy process and I would definitely buy the product. Thank you for the opportunity!

I have a fair bit of greys and am about to go on a holiday and just needed to get my hair in shape. I found the kit very easy to use, comes with handy instructions that are very understandable. I mixed the colour gel with the developer and used the soft brush applicator in the parts with grey hair. I decided to extend the application to 15 minutes to gain good coverage. I was very satisfied with the coverage, my greys were nicely gone and the dark brown colour suited my hair very nicely. I'm so happy to have tried this product. I would recommend this to anyone who needs a quick and effective touch up at home. So easy!

It gave my hair a shiny and vibrant appearance and left it soft and manageable. The product was so easy to apply and all done in 10 minutes. After applying it to my hair and waiting for the suggested 10 minutes, I washed it off in the shower and shampooed my hair as usual. A perfect result!

Mixing the product seconds, applying it only took 10mins. The brush made it easier, just used a comb to separate the hair. Left on for 10mins washed out easy. Once dried gave my hair a bit of lift and the colour coverage was spot on.

The only thing I didn’t like about the spray was how messy it is, and the fine particles going on clothes and benchtop. This brush on permanent applicator is so much better and the product itself is a permanent, so that makes touching up my hair so much better. I like how it covers and are so happy I was given the chance to trial this product, because I definitely will be buying it again.

However, I have to say this as I’ve noticed that the colour I had originally put on my hair and this retouch product are not same even though both state dark brown. (Different brands).I guess i would have to check the L’Oréal permanent hair colours availability and compare with retouch colour to make sure they are same. It would be great if this product could last longer in the bottle for retouch again and again rather then buying it every time I need to retouch my grey hair.

The choice of applicator meant I could switch it up during the dyeing process to ensure even coverage.
