Warnings

Do not use this medicine
- If you are allergic to paracetamol
- If using other medicines containing paracetamol
- For the first time in children under 2 years of age, except on medical advice
- For more than 48 hours at a time, except on medical advice
- If the package seals are broken or the use-by-date has expired

- Has liver or kidney problems.
- Weighs less than 8 kg or more than 18 kg

Stop use and see your doctor if your child
- Has an allergic skin reaction, shortness of breath or wheezing after taking this medication

While using this product
If an overdose is taken or suspected ring the Poisons Information Centre (AUST: 13 11 26) or go to the hospital immediately even if your child feels well because of the risk of delayed, serious liver damage if left untreated. Keep to the recommended dose.

Directions

Directions for use:
- For rectal use only - not to be swallowed.
- Tear suppository from strip, remove blister and insert suppository.
- For ease of insertion, the suppository can be moistened just before insertion.
- Insert into the rectum according to the dosage table below.
- Calculate the correct dose based on the child's weight. If weight is unknown, use the child's age. Use every 4-6 hours as required.

Dosage:
Age: 6 months - 4 yrs, Average Weight 8 - 16kg, Dose 1 (max 4 in 24 hrs)
Age: 4 - 5 Years, Average Weight 16 - 18 kg, Dose 2 (max 8 in 24 hrs)

I purchased these as an alternative to oral panadol when my daughter was sick and experiencing vomiting and could not keep down enough pain relief to bring down her temperature or reduce her discomfort. Once you get past the “awkwardness” of having to insert these into your babies bottom they are such an amazing tool! My daughter doesn’t enjoy taking oral medicine as is so I have used this for teething symptoms also and it’s honestly so much simpler!
