What is the role of Toddler Milk Drink in a toddler's diet?

The goal during this critical time of growth for toddlers is to maintain a healthy balanced diet. Biostime SN-2 BIO PLUS HPO Toddler Milk Drink contains age-appropriate nutrients to help support this balance. Fussy eating behaviour is a common issue with toddlers and Toddler Milk Drink may help support their nutritional needs during this critical growth period. Biostime SN-2 BIO PLUS HPO Toddler Milk Drink is a Formulated Supplementary Food for Young Children. This product can be included as a supplement in your toddler's diet and should be consumed as part of a healthy and varied diet when energy and nutrient intakes may be inadequate. Consult your healthcare professional if you are unsure about your child's requirements.

Made in Australia, using cow's milk sourced from Gippsland, Victoria.

What does HPO mean?

HPO stands for Harnessing the Power of Oligosaccharides. Biostime SN-2 BIO PLUS HPO Infant Formula includes the oligosaccharide 2'-O-Fucosyllactose (2'-FL).

Why is 2'-FL HMO not included in your Stage 3 product?

2'-FL HMO is only permitted for use by FSANZ (Food Standards Australia New Zealand) in infant formulas Stage 1 and Stage 2. The oligosaccharides in Biostime SN-2 BIO PLUS HPO Toddler Milk Drink instead include FOS and GOS. Our Biostime 2'-FL HMO ProBoost + Vit D supplement contains 2'-FL HMO and can be taken with our Toddler Milk Drink products. We recommending checking with your health care professional for advice on your child's requirements.

Milk Solids (Skim Milk, Lactose, Whey Protein), Vegetable Oils (Rapeseed Oil, Coconut Oil, Sunflower Oil, Soybean Oil, Antioxidant [Ascorbyl Palmitate]), Galacto-oligosaccharides (GOS) (From Milk), Arachidonic Acid (ARA), Docosahexaenoic Acid (DHA) (From Fish), Fructo-oligosaccharides (FOS), Emulsifier (Soy Lecithin), Culture (Bifidobacterium infantis^).

Directions

1. Wash and dry hands before preparing feed. Wash and rinse cup or bottle and all utensils.

2. Using only the scoop provided in this container, add 6 scoops of powder to 180 mL of cool boiled water. Level off each scoop with the container's built-in leveller. Avoid compacting powder.

3. Whisk, shake or stir the powder briskly until powder dissolves. Serve immediately
Prepare each bottle separately. If a bottle of made up formula is to be stored prior to use, it must be refrigerated and used within 24 hours.

I prefer to use a milk drink like this for my son and he is very picky eater and doesn’t want to eat much! I either offer to my son as it is or I add in with fruits and make a milkshake for him. It’s my peace of mind that at least he is getting appropriate nutrients of the day! He loves the taste and no issues noted. I love the packaging too and how it has a hook in to keep the spoon separated from milk. Very thoughtful and hygienic. I must say we were pretty impressed as my toddler loved the milk and he never pushed back. No reaction, allergies or loose stool which we were worried about. Infact he has been refusing his normal milk lately so we will keep going on with that. Also, packed with vitamins,it is giving my toddler all nutrients that he needs. Plus another big bonus, it is made in Australia. Very impressed and will keep going with this for a while.

Coming from breastfeeding full time my toddler hasn't adjusted to weaning very well and find that he needed something a little more then regular cows milk to support his little growing body as he is very active. Finally after trialing many different brands he actually seemed to really enjoy drinking Biostime SN-2 BIO PLUS HPO Toddler Milk Drink in his night time sippy cup and since he didn't turn his nose up at it and actually drank the whole lot I found that he didn't wake up in the middle of the night ravenous because he was still hungry like he has been lately. I will definitely be buying this for as long as my toddler will drink it. Highly recommend if you have a fussy toddler giving this formula a go, obviously not all babies are the same but definitely worth a try

It also seals great which is good to know the product will stay fresh. The formula mixes up great and has a pleasant smell. My toddler drank it and seemed to love it. It has great nutritional benefits and didn’t seem to upset my little ones digestive system which most formula drinks do. Will purchase again as it is a great formula to use between weaning to regular milk

Iron contributes to normal cognitive function. vitamins B6, B12, C and Zinc to support normal immune system function calcium & vitamin D to help support bone structure, and the list goes on. But what appealed most to me was that it’s made in Australia with milk from Australian dairy farms. For me that’s a winning factor. My Toddler is a fussy eater so didn’t instantly take to the formula. But after couple of tries she now drinks it regularly. I am happy to regularly buy this formula for her and will do so.

There were absolutely no changes to my little one which was very pleasing. They enjoy drinking it and came back for more. Easy to prepare and transported well. i shared some of the product with my niece who happily informed me of finding similar results and would Biostine again.

However, as my toddler was showing signs of refusal on the previous formula, tried this Biostime SN-2 BIO. Quite surprised to find that the toddler did not refuse the milk and also did not get any stomach pain. No constipation or diarrhoea either. Overall happy with the milk and also strongly recommend as it is Australian made/branded with multiple vitamin sources.

I also appreciate the fact that the spoon was hygienically placed in a clear pocket and not just shoved in the formula powder like so many others.
