My hair is currently bright cherry red but it's a very hard colour to maintain vibrancy after a professional colouring. I was a little skeptical because it's such a large bottle and easy on the wallet but I was pleasantly surprised! My colour has faded a little but not as much as regular cheap shampoos. I would have preferred a sulfate-free shampoo but it is not too harsh and doesn't strip the hair. Best to use with the conditioner which leaves my hair nice, soft and manageable to brush. The smell is quite lovely, too. Excellent value for money!

I think the product provides good value for money, and comes in a convenient size. The pump is easy to use, and I needed 4-5 pumps to feel like my long hair was fully covered from the product. The smell is very strong and sweet, but I was happy with it. I could still smell the product in my hair the day after I washed it. The Tre Semme shampoo glides nicely through my hair and lathers well. I found that my hair was less knotty/tangly after using both the Tre Semme Colour Revitalise shampoo and conditioner. After a few uses, my hair felt shinier and bouncier, and I noticed that I could go an extra day between washes after use. This product made my hair feel cleaner after use. This is definitely a product I will continue to use alongside my toning shampoo, as it has helped maintain my colour as well as provide extra shine to my lacklustre hair.

So surprised it arrived in a huge generous easy to use 940ml black pump bottle, in comparison to white coloured conditioner so I can tell them apart in the shower. This will last a few months. Absolutely love how the shampoo smelt fresh & floral. Only requires a small amount to lather through shoulder length hair. Infused with rosemary & Nutri oil helped retain moisture made hair feel squeaky clean & light after every wash. Definitely a winner for me & with $14 RRP easy on the pocket

This product is sleek and looks good. I love the pump application bottom, which is so handy in the shower. Especially when the product is in such a massive bottle, which is surprisingly heavy too. It would be tricky to invert and obtain the product without the pump. The bottle is also recyclable with is great and because it lasts for so long there is less plastic consumed than smaller bottles with less product. I don’t wash my hair everyday and whilst using this product that remained true, my hair didn’t feel like it needed to be washed everyday - in other words it didn’t feel or look greasy. After washing my hair it definitely felt like it needed to follow up with the conditioner (I’ll review the conditioner too), as it kinda clumped and felt dry. The product smells wonderful, clean and fresh with a fruity essence. The smell lasted upon my hair too. And although I feel it didn’t quite revitalise my colour - turn my greys a glorious blonde, the blonde covering my greys didn’t diminish but rather maintained their blondness. All in all, it was great trying this product and would use again and I would also recommend it.

It is a very generous sized bottle. Smells great and leaves my hair feeling abit meah not sure why but my daughter tried it and her hair is soft and not coloured. But it does make my hair look really good but feeling dry I would buy it again as it has a great value money. I absolutely love the pump on it I have shoulder length coloured hair and I just use 2 pumps and it does makes my colour very vibrant and shiny.

I have vibrant coloured ginger hair, so I need a shampoo that is gentle enough to keep the colour, yet still strong enough to cleanse my scalp. I was a little sceptical at first, as I've had hits and misses with colour shampoo and tend to stick with ones that I know work. The shampoo was 940ml, which is a good bulk size. The pump system makes dispensing the product easy and consistent. The product smelt quite delightful, which is a win for me. I wash my hair once a week, so I generally do a double wash on my scalp. I did a double wash on my scalp with this shampoo and I found it did cleanse my scalp satisfactorily and it didn't strip too much hair colour. Not bad!

Rated 4 out of 5 by TN from Love the fragrance [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] TRESemmé Colour Revitalise Shampoo with Nutri-Oil & Green Tea comes in a large 1L black pump bottle that has as amazing sweet smell that isn’t too overpowering and helps start the day with a boost. My hair has been feeling soft and although I can’t smell it myself, I’m sure it does smell great. Being specially created for coloured hair so that your colour will last longer is a big help for someone like me, otherwise those pesky grey hairs appear before you know it. A small pump of shampoo is all that it is needed as a little goes a long way and the consistency was pretty good. Great value for money; comes in a large bottle with a pump which is easy to use and a little goes a long way. I did need help from hubby to get the pump to open. It helps that the shampoo and conditioner are different colours too as being someone who wears glasses it’s a pain to have to try and closely read which is which if the containers are nearly identical Follow it with the matching conditioner (which is in a white container) and you find it’s a great pair to use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this shampoo as part of a trial team and I have to say that it lived up to what I expected from a colour revitalizing shampoo. Firstly, I'll address the packaging which I found modern and appealing. I did find it hard to open the top dispenser which seemed to be stuck but eventually it came loose and dispensed just the right amount for a wash. I liked the fragrance which is like cherry blossoms. It is fresh and sweetly scented. The texture of the shampoo is thick and it lathers really well. I lathered it twice each wash as I normally do with all my shampoos. My hair is quite dry due to colouring it as often as I do and it has alot of flyaways due to breakage. I was pleasantly surprised that this shampoo left my hair feeling smooth, shiny and definitely more manageable. After washing and prior to applying conditioner it felt soft and smooth. My colour also seemed to appear more vibrant and more light reflective. My flyaways were smoothed down and my hair felt light and bouncey. I also noticed that my colour didn't fade as quickly as it usually does. I have red hair and it fades out after a week but this shampoo seemed to hold colour well and not wash it down the drain. I will definitely continue to use this product as it is good value for money and delivers what it claims In comparison to other shampoos I've tried, it is on par with the more expensive shampoos I've purchased and the large bottle is sure to last awhile making it great value for money.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Saje from Great Value Quality Shampoo [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First a big thanks to BH for giving me the chance to trial the TRESemme Colour Revitalise Shampoo. I have fine, fluffy medium length hair that I regularly colour so I was happy to find the shampoo contained vitamin E and argan oil. I found I needed to use a little more of this lovely sweet smelling shampoo than I would normally use to get a good lather and a nice clean feeling result. Given the bottle has 3 times the volume of my normal shampoo and is less than half the price, using a little more is not an issue. I followed up with conditioner which left my hair feeling silky smooth and with a lovely shine. This shampoo claims that it maintains the vibrancy of coloured hair and protects hair and it is working for me, I am not finding any increase in breakage and my colour is looking great. The only disadvantage is that I am using more product when styling as it aggravates the fluffiness of my hair. This shampoo is made in Australia, comes in a huge black 940 ml pump pack made using recycled plastic, all instructions are printed on the bottle and it is super easy to dispense. I was pleased that the shampoo doesn’t contain any alcohol or parabens and the bottle is recyclable.

Sadly I couldn't test it on fresh hair colour to see the effect, but I will update my review when I do. The shampoo has a really nice fragrance to it that was fruity in nature, which turned my daily shower into a more spa like experience! The shampoo suds and spreads very well through my hair, where a lot of others struggle due to my quantity of hair. It did make my hair feel drier than I would like after using the shampoo in comparison to others that I use. After using the shampoo and matching conditioner together, my hair feels very soft and manageable.

The TREsemme Colour Revitalise Shampoo with Nutri-Oil & Green Tea has a lovely thick viscosity and pleasant fragrance. Love the pump dispenser because don’t really like pouring shampoo out- too easy to waste product. I used the product every time I washed my hair during the trial period. I think the shampoo definitely helps to keep the colour of my hair looking vibrant and my blonde highlights didn’t go brassy. I feel the product left my hair feeling fresh and clean, it removed any product and my hair did feel softer and healthier. My hair suffers from humidity and become a bit frazzled… I need a product that supports moisture levels in my hair and this product does that. I used the TRESemme Vibrant Colour Protection Shampoo & with the supporting Conditioner. I loved the scent. Can’t comment on colour lasting 11 weeks- I get my hair coloured every 5 weeks. The shampoo is gentle and from the condition of my hair I felt confident to use it a couple of days in a row- while I was away hiking. I’m really delighted with the quality and results and an converted from using a salon only shampoo.

Before receiving the shampoo, I had never used it before and was pleasantly surprised. I normally just use salon quality shampoo and tend to stay away from brands you can get in the supermarker but this shampoo left my hair feeling clean and soft. The only complaint I have would be the pump and the size of the bottle. I personally would prefer a smaller bottle with a cap as I travel often for work and this bottle is a bit too big to travel with.

I am not super familiar with this brand but found it to be pretty good. The shampoo left my hair feeling very clean but also felt a little drying. However, when used in conjunction with the conditioner it felt soft and manageable. The scent is nice and inoffensive. The bottle is massive and will last a long time so it is good value for money. I really like the ease of the pump dispenser. I have only been using it for a short time but my colour seems to be doing well.

This bottle is a very large size, pump pack, this would last for a very long time. I found the packaging very easy to use and to differentiate from the shampoo and conditioner as one was black and one was white. The scent is mild, light and a bit sweet/ floral. The shampoo lathers quite well and rinses clean easily. The formula seemed nourishing with out being stripping or harsh. This is a good supermarket shampoo and a good price. My hair wasn't freshly coloured so hard to say how it worked in terms of colour protection.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] beautyheaven Staff Review: bh's Tamara C In the past I have used a combination of Salon branded hair products, and supermarket brands. But for some reason I have always thought that I was safer to stick with Salon products when it came to caring for my colour. I was wrong. The Colour Revitalise Shampoo with Nutri-Oil & Green Tea is really nice to use. It has a lovely light scent, and I appreciate that it is bottled in a large size (less replacing) and has a pump on the top (for ease of use). I have darker hair, and I dye it to not only cover greys, but also to add a bit of a reddish tint so I don't look as pale and tired as I am! The problem with this is that the red tint does tend to fade really quickly if I don't use decent products. I have been using the Colour Revitalise Shampoo for about 3 weeks and having dyed my hair 3.5 weeks ago, I can safely say that the shampoo hasn't faded or washed away the colour much at all. My hair colour is still quite vibrant and my hair feels extremely soft and healthy. I have fine hair strands, but lots of hair; an the only thing I did find is that I needed to wash my hair every 2-3 days with this product, otherwise it got a little oily at the roots earlier than normal. I would absolutely recommend this product for anyone wanting to protect their colour.

I have light brown, colour treated hair with blonde highlights and regularly visit my hairdresser every 7-8 weeks for a root touch up. I’ve been progressively going grey since my 30’s and keeping the colour vibrancy and shine is something that I prefer considering how many times I visit a salon yearly. I’ve used TRESemmé in the past but usually choose a daily cleansing shampoo, so being able to trial this product was exactly the thing I was interested in. The product arrived in the post with the accompanying conditioner. Both large plastic bottles containing 940mls with a pump lid. Unfortunately both bottles had leaked significantly and I noticed it had come from the screw top being loose rather than the pump. However after that experience I have only good things to say about this shampoo. The bottle is black plastic with a pump lid which I prefer over other lids for ease of use. I noticed a change in the graphics they’ve used on their packaging which I like. The instructions state that it is gentle enough to be used daily however I opted for 2nd daily (I wash my hair about every 3 days so decided to increase that to every 2 days). It has Vitamin E, Argan Oil and Green Tea, contains no parabens, alcohol or dyes. This shampoo is lovely to use, only requiring a few pumps for my shoulder length and straight hair. It lathers well (contains SLS) which I don’t mind in my shampoo products and rinses well. The smell is strong however, again that isn’t a negative thing for me. I do enjoy certain scents with my hair care products and the smell lasted for a good while afterwards. I could still smell a faint scent in my hair the 2nd day. It leaves my hair with a nice sheen and I must say that it doesn’t strip colour as much as other shampoos that I’ve used. I’ve been using this just on 2 weeks and I’m due for a touch up in a week, I’m happy to say that the colour has not faded as fast as it usually does. The real test will be when I use it straight after my appointment until the next one, so yes I will continue to use this.

I have my long brown hair coloured to treat grey roots every month so it needs a shampoo and conditioner that works to maintain my hair health and these new TRESemmé Colour Revitalise Shampoo & Conditioner products definitely work! It has made my hair feel soft and nourished but not greasy at the end of the day. The conditioner allows my hair to be tangle free and very easy to comb through. The colour doesn't necessarily appear more vibrant but it does last the distance and my brown locks are definitely shinier and feel healthier so I'm happy with that. Also far less frizz so definitely an improvement. I cannot detect any sort of scent in my hair which is disappointing as I do like to have some sort of fresh clean smell left lingering in my hair. The large bottles are good value and the pumps are smooth and provide generous amounts of product with each pump so only a couple of pumps are required, very easy to use. I'm impressed with this shampoo and conditioner combo and thankful for the opportunity to trial as this has now given me another option for my fussy hair needs. I would definitely recommend to family and friends and look forward to continuing with this brand.

I received the "Colour Revitalise" shampoo/conditioner duo as part of the trial team and I'm pleased with the results. Price-wise, it sits at the top of my "mum budget" hair products, coming in at $14 for 940mL, but is often on special in supermarkets and pharmacies. I'm thrilled to see a pump dispenser on their bottles again- they are a much-needed change for ease of use. My hair is long, thick, coloured, and prone to scalp oiliness, and was desperate for a wash when they arrived. The shampoo lathers well and I didn't need half as much product as I usually do. It rinsed out well, and even after my normal double cleanse, there was no residue that I had to work to get out. The scent was fresh and clean and not overpowering and doesn't linger. In conjunction with the matching conditioner, I felt it added a good degree of gloss or "protection" to my coloured hair, which lives up to their claims. Another bonus is that TRESemme is made in Australia and also hasn't any parabens, alchols or dyes. Overall - i'd recommend this product to anyone looking for a good shampoo that does what it says it will.

I used TRESemme products before, they worked quite well for me and I was excited to try this new improved formula. The shampoo comes in a pump bottle, easy to use. Quite big size too 940 ml, it will last for months. It lathers really nice, it is easy to rinse . I enjoy the smell, it is a fresh scent. I have long hair which I colour once a month. Not sure yet about colour revitalising effect yet as I used this shampoo for only two weeks, but it is definitely enjoyable to use and it makes the hair really soft and easy to brush.

The fresh fragrance was fruity and reminded me of childhood - I want to say watermelon. :) I have extremely coloured hair (black to caramel and blonde), so I was skeptical when trying this product. I was impressed with how clean the hair and scalp was after the single use, although it felt a little drying to the hair after a few uses. The formula in conjunction with the conditioner and my usual purple mask resulted in shiny hair resistant to colour change. This product would be great for anyone on a budget - it's great value for money. :)

It’s a large sized bottle with a pump, which makes dispersing it quick and easy. It cleaned my hair surprisingly well. It was a great balance between too gentle and too strong. I do have vibrant copper coloured hair so I need a good medium that cleanses without stripping too much colour. As my hair is quite long and I generally wash it once a week, I do usually double cleanse, as I did in this case. The other bonus is that it smells really great!

I haven't heard the best things about Tresemme so was a little skeptical going into this. I have very bright red hair thanks to my amazing hairdresser so I was able to really see how much this shampoo locked in the colour. It foamed really easily and was quite cleansing on my scalp without drying it out. My colour was not stripped and felt fresh and bold without taking any vibrancy. Packaging wise I was impressed to have a pump for this medium-large bottle size, it makes life so much easier in the shower to actually use. I would be very open to purchasing this and having this as part of my regular haircare routine.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Princess228 from Revitalised Hair [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This trial cam at the perfect time as I was in the market for a new colour care shampoo/conditioner and Tresemme was definitely on my list of ones I wanted to try. I have tried Tresemme products in the past and have loved all the ones that I have tried the only thing I didn't like was the the big bulky bottles are hard to manage, so seeing that they now come in a pump pack was great it makes it so much easier to use. The shampoo has a nice pleasant scent which is not at all overpowering, even thought the description states that there is green tea in the shampoo I couldn't pick up that scent. The shampoo lathers nicely and I only need 3 pumps for my short thick hair. Once rinsed out the shampoo left my hair feeling nice and soft which made is easier to get the condition through. After using this a few time I have definitely noticed a difference in my hair, I have natural red hair that I colour different shaded or red to keep it looking fresh and I found this shampoo keeps my colour looking fresher for longer.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Diana F. from The bottle is made from 50% recycled plastics. This colour revitalise shampoo by Tresemme leaves my hair feeling soft and silky. I do not think that it made my coloured hair retain its bright red colour but I do like this shampoo. I love that the bottle is made from 50% recycled plastics and it can be recycled again. This is a huge benefit for someone like me that is trying to help the environment. I paid below the recommended retail price as I bought it from The Reject Shop. The large bottle offers value for money, especially since I was my long hair that is past my shoulders every second day. The bottle has lasted me one and half months so far. So maybe it will last me three months, as I am half way through the large bottle. The bottle has a flip top lid that you must make sure to close properly. As I put the bottle in my gym bag and it has leaked sometimes. The smell is not offence. It smells pleasant enough. Nothing strong and I can smell that my hair is clean but no flora, fruity or perfumed smell.

It actually arrived the day after my hair had been coloured so timing was great. It has a lovely smell, not overpowering. The bottle is large but easy to manage with the pump. I found it washed my hair very well and in conjunction with the conditioner it worked a treat. I would usually buy direct from salon and this can be very expensive, but if you are looking for a budget friendly alternative I think this may fit. I only got to use it twice before my review was due but my colour (highlights) stayed bright, there was no brassiness or fade. I will continue to use over the next month to see if it really maintains the colour but for now I think it delivers on the title.

It has a really nice scent but not anything offensive or overpowering. I really enjoyed that this felt like it gave a really good deep cleanse. However for me I am a bit concerned that it actually stripped some colour from my hair. I had been using a tinting shampoo previously so it was probably only loosely in the hair to begin with. However for a Colour Revitalise shampoo it was not amazing to see colour washing down the drain. Other than that I think it was really nice but I did find it a little stripping rather than colour protect so not sure I could recommend for coloured hair.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was lucky enough to be chosen in the Trial Team to try this product Tresemme Colour Revitalise Shampoo with Nutri-Oil and Green Tea. I was surprised at how big the bottle is and eager to give it a go. I have blonde coloured hair and I am always looking for something affordable to treat my locks. I love the packaging as it has all the information required on the bottle and also has a very easy to use pump action. I used about 4 pumps of this on my wet hair and it lathered up quite nicely. When rinsing this my hair did feel quite clean and the smell is quite lovely. I have fine hair but lots of it, so I tend to go through shampoo quite quickly. So I am impressed with how much you get in this bottle for such a reasonable price. The fact that is has Nutri-Oil and Green Tea, helps to lock in moisture without stripping your hair. Overall I think this is a great product.

Well,I did notice that my blonde stayed the cool blonde I likefor a while,but the light caramel hue I add in strayed after a couple of weeks with thrice weekly use of this thick,rich,sudsy shampoo.I cannot say it wasn't expected...but I hoped for a little more.My cooler blonde tone started to get brassy after about three weeks,but that is because I didn't use my colour correction shampoo to alleviate that during the trial.The scent was pleasant...very fresh and fruity / floral in notes (even hubby liked it enough to use it).It won't replace my usual shampoo that I use,but in a pinch it will do.

I found though, that this shampoo did make my hair and scalp feel very clean and although the shampoo felt a little drying for my hair, on the whole, it was pretty good. I made sure I hadn’t washed my hair for a few days to really see how well this shampoo washed. I was pretty disappointed though that the shampoo didn’t really have a lovely lingering smell. It was just a bit bland for my liking, and I think that especially with shampoos, the smell and smell in your hair after it is dry, is very important. The packaging is basic, but practical and it will stand well in my shower as the pump is very easy to use, after you work out how to open the pump in the first place! The conditioner bottle was even harder to twist top open than the shampoo! Overall, I feel this is a good shampoo for everyday use for coloured hair if you are looking for something cheap and easy to use.
