I found I was able to get a good lather and my scalp felt clean afterwards. I also really liked the scent of strawberries and enjoyed the way my hair smelt afterwards. It did leave my hair slightly dry at times so I would recommend using a moisturise rich deep conditioner with this set. I enjoyed using this with the matching conditioner and found that it worked well for curly hair as well. The packaging also looks beautiful and classy for a drugstore product. Overall a great drug store option that I'll be re-purchasing!

The scent was a big hit with my daughter also, we had no whinging at hair wash time like we normally do. The shampoo lathered up really nicely (a little goes a long way) and my hair felt so clean after the first wash I didn’t even feel the need to wash a 2nd time like I normally would.. just straight to conditioner. I would definitely recommend giving this a try. For a supermarket shampoo, I really liked it. I’m certain my daughter will be asking for it to be purchased again.

Still have a hint of strawberry fragrance the next day. It does what it says. It make my scalp and hair feel so clean. I prefer creamy texture but i dont mind this shampoo. The problem is, i can't measure how much i need to be honest. I use it 3 to 4 times a week. With the conditioner. My hair smells wonderful. Herbal essence never fail with their fragrance which is one of my favourite point. I do need some hair mist if i don't use herbal essence. They are very affordable and easy to find it anywhere in supermarket or drugstore. I would like to try different range of their products. I recommend it.

The strawberry and mint smell is nice, not super strong and overpowering. The fragrance of the mint didn’t last long but the fragrance of the strawberries last a while (1 - 2 days). I have fine long hair and these products didn’t seem to weigh it down at all. My hair felt clean for at least three days. Since I have fine hair I’m trying to also use products with no silicone and I’m happy that this one doesn’t have any. For the price, it is very good value. I would buy this again.

I have very thick hair and skin conditions so using a supermarket product was a risk. I highly recommend these products. Left my hair smelling and feeling fresh as well as no reaction. Very affordable which makes a nice change from the expensive products I usually buy from the chemist. The packaging isn't your typical supermarket style. It is attractive and stands up to the quality and price of the actual product. I highly recommend these products to anyone looking for affordable shampoo and conditioner that stands up to its name and anyone with skin conditions.

It easily works through all your hair and the thickness of the shampoo doesn't stop it spreading. I prefer the thicker shampoos as they they stay a bit longer and don't just run off your hair but. It's the perfect amount of thickness. It's easy to apply and easy to rinse off. The scent is an amazing sweet strawberry scent that I wish lasted a little longer on your hair. After washing my hair felt clean and fresh.

The scent itself is more minty than strawberry with a hint of floral however it makes the shower experience so much more peaceful and serene making you feel like you've entered a fresh botanical garden. The scent in the product lingers longer in your hair after each use making your hair smell amazing. The sampoo gently cleans your hair without causing any damage or breakage leaving your hair feeling soft and looking shiny. I also noticed that it doesn't encourage any frizziness after each wash which is great for those who have frizzy hair like myself. There is no need to use a large amount of the product in your hair as a little amount will lather all the hair. I would definitely repurchase this Shampoo as the shower experience is so worth it.

I found the performance of this shampoo to be very good especially at this price range. I tried using this shampoo once and also as a double cleanse before I conditioned. I found that doing a double cleanse made my hair cleaner and it lasted longer then when doing a single cleanse as I found this shampoo doesn't strip the hair of moisture, in fact it's very gentle and I have long highlighted hair. What I adored about this shampoo is that it really smelt like the packaging stated, strawberry and mint. I really appreciated that this shampoo didn't frizz my hair.

My hair is naturally frizzy/fine which is a little more dry and thinning since giving birth and bleaching it earlier this year. I wash my hair 1-2 times per week and tend to air dry. I was a little concerned initially as the scent was quite strong while washing my hair but found it faded to a lovely subtle scent once my hair dried. I only needed to use the smallest amount as the shampoo lathers well. I shampoo twice, following it with Herbal Essences bio:renew White Strawberry & Mint conditioner which left my hair a lot easier to brush, feeling a lot softer and manageable. Perfect for a busy mum!

I bought it cz I was tempted by the gorgeous package. It has a gorgeous scent to it. Lingers in your hair after washing it. I used conditioner first and then the shampoo. It did clean my hair really well. Herbal Essences bio:renew White Strawberry & Mint Shampoo Managed to clean all the dirt from my scalp and hydrated it as well. My scalp felt cleaner and fresh after using this. Use it with the conditioner for better results. Love this.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Brilliant for oily scalp I really love this shampoo. It took me the longest time to purchase this as I didn't realise they are cruelty free. It turns out they are and I am so glad I decided to give this a go. The smell is divine, it smells even better on the hair straight after being washed than it does from the bottle. The scent isn't strong on the hair after a few hours so if you are fragrance sensitive it might be ok for you. The shampoo is clear and comes in a generous 400ml bottle. It foams up into a nice lather very easily and rinses clean without stripping the hair. I think that the reason why it is so good for an oily scalp as it contains Sodium Chloride (basically Salt). Salt is an awesome ingredient to help those of us with oily scalps. I have been know to add a teaspoon to my shampoos previously but it makes the shampoo go runny and difficult to use. The addition of it in this formula is brilliant to help keep the scalp oil free for longer. I am able to get about an extra 8 hours between washes before my scalp becomes obviously oily again. Doesn't sound like much but it is the difference between having to wash every day and being able to go an extra day between washes for me.

I looked out for the Shampoo and I was not disappointed. What a sweet smelling shampoo! Herbal Essences are onto a winner with this scent, I can really smell the mint and then the sweet tartness of the strawberry.

This looked appealing to me as it didn’t look to heavy for my hair, as some hair washing products with oils and extra moisturisers tend to make my hair feel heavy and thicker. The shampoo lathers nicely and has a sweet clean scent. I massage it well into my scalp to ensure my hair is clean. My hair doesn’t feel ultra tangled or dry after rinsing it out. I wash my hair every second day and I don’t find my scalp gets as oily anymore. I think that’s because it feels like it doesn’t strip my hair or clog up my hair with extra ingredients. I would definitely repurchase.

I’m not sure what it is about this shampoo, but my hair’s oiliness has reduced from barely getting away with 2 days between washes, now i can easily get 4-5 days! I think it might be due to the fact it’s silicone free, so it cleans without adding anything back. It’s a clear gel like formula that lathers really easily, i always double wash, but it definitely does a good job of cleaning all the grime out. I don’t feel overly squeaky stripped clean either, maybe that’s why i don’t get as oily - perhaps it doesn’t strip my hair? Anyway, its a fantastic product and i have no desire to swap to anything else for the time being.

My hair can get quite oily quickly between washes, but this shampoo removes excess product and doesn’t weigh my hair down! I can go a day or so longer that I used to, without washing my hair, before it starts to go oily. I love the scent too! the combination of Strawberry and Mint reminds me of Extra strawberry mint gum haha

I love the strawberry and mint scent, it smells phenomenol; sweet and fruity without being cloying or sickeningly sweet or artifical and the mint adds this beautiful refreshing touch. I had quite a bit of product build up and was worried how I would go the first time I used this shampoo, whether it would be too harsh, not cleanse enough...this one cleanses quite well, it suds up beautifully to a very rich foamy lather and cleanses the scalp well without being overly harsh or leaving the hair with that horrible stripped squeaky clean feeling afterwards. A little goes a long way with this shampoo (it does contains SLS) as it foams up extremely well, minimal amount of product is needed. I found it to rinse out easily, no residual film left behind in the hair.

The fragrance was amazing and I can't get enough of it and makes the hair washing experience so much more enjoyable. My hair looked a lot healthier and shinier and it is sooooooo much cheaper than what I usually use so definitely will be purchasing this again at the supermarket. Love that you can pretty much get this anywhere and I don't have to order from overseas or anything. Cute packaging as well!

I must admit I often buy shampoos and conditioners from my hair salon but I pay a much higher price. This herbal essences shampoo is a great cheaper alternative and really works. I love that it is parabens and sulphate free, that’s a big tick for me. This shampoo removes buildup and leaves my hair so shiny and soft, it looks and feels amazing and smells wonderful. For best results use the matching conditioner, a great budget friendly product

I would recommend this for family use as seemed to fit all of our different hair types and left our hair silky smooth, clean and smelling amazing. Definitely the scent was the stand out with this product and a real draw card for our teenagers and primary schoolers. This shampoo product kept the hair manageable for styling and left it shining in the sun. We reviewed this as part of a trial bit I would buy this for my family in future shops. We give it at least 4 stars.

From the look of the bottle to the use of the product it excelled in most areas! I found the scent to be really nice and not too overpowering. I usually suffer from oily hair as well as quite bad dandruff. I feel like the product did help absorb the oils but didn’t help too much with the dandruff. If you’re looking for a new hair product I wouldn’t go past this one, it’s definitely worth a try and you can’t go wrong with a reasonably priced drugstore hair product.

I was a bit apprehensive about using a supermarket brand but my hair really enjoyed the experience. It was a delight to use as the fragrance was fresh and uplifting. I did tend to use more product than i normally use as it was not as concentrated as my usual products. My hair looked fresh and bouncy and alot healthier so i would definitely buy this product.. The only thing i would change is the bottle design and put a pump top on it as it is very hard to get the product out when only half used.

For the price point and availability in the supermarket, it is great. However, it still doesn't have the luxury that you might expect from a salon quality product. This product does make my hair feeling nice and clean, but it did leave it feeling a little dry. If you want a shampoo that is cheap, smells nice and leaves the hair feeling clean and fresh. This is the one for you! Another positive about this product it does have a lot of natural ingredients, which are great if you concerned about toil chemicals on your body/hair!

I have medium length,fine,coloured blonde hair. I have over the years used Herbal Essences and think they are a good solid brand. Firstly I like the fact it’s a clean product and it’s 90% natural origin made with real botanicals. The bottle is clear which is great so you know how much you have left. The liquid itself is clear and I didn’t need to use much to get a good, clean, foaming action. The scent is strawberry with a touch of mint but It does smell a little artificial in my opinion. Having said that I’m not certain exactly what white strawberry would smell like so I could be wrong but overall the fragrance is ok, there is no lingering on the hair afterwards so the scent is neither here nor there. Hair felt clean after one wash, but a little on the dry side. In summary If you like natural, inexpensive supermarket branded products try this one out.

I have been using for a few weeks and my hair is better than when I was using a product three times the price. My hair is clean, feels soft and easy to style, also I feel like this shampoo removes the dry shampoo build up that I can get as well. I would say though that the fragrance is very strong. I am not some one who usually likes products overly scented so it did put me off a bit but in saying that my teenage daughter who was also using the shampoo with me LOVED the scent.

It comes beautifully packaged and looks and feels a lot more lux than it’s budget friendly price point. The fragrance is lovely but after a little use it can be quite overpowering. I found these to be an excellent overall product for the price, it does a fantastic deep scalp clean and also lathers quite well which is impressive for a surface free shampoo. I love that it is sulfate, parables and silicone free- a massive tick for me! It’s quite hard to find affordable shampoos that have none of those ingredients in them. The only negative was the slightly drying effect it has over the longer term. I would recommend swapping this out for a moisturising shampoo every now and then. Otherwise would highly recommend!

Firstly, the bottle and label has a pretty and fresh, modern look to it. The shampoo itself has a strong fruity fragrance which I love. It lathered well and easily and left my hair feeling very clean, removing oil and built up product well. After blowdrying, my hair felt fresh and shiny. I continued to use this shampoo over the following weeks and results continued. Nice shampoo and reasonably priced compared to others I'm using.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great smell [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very impressed with the smell of this shampoo, it has a nice summery smell. My husband also commented on how nice my hair smelt. It foams up really well and leaves hair very clean, bouncy and shiny. My scalp felt clean and not itchy at all. I did find my hair stayed clean for only 2 days, I would prefer if it was fresher for a bit longer, being a busy mum. The packaging is nice and easy to dispense. Looks like it's a very affordable shampoo aswell. Overall, pretty impressed with this shampoo.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Renew White Strawberry & Mint Shampoo [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I trialled this Herbal Essences bio: renew White Strawberry & Mint Shampoo as a part of the Beauty Review Crew. When I first smelt it, I initially wondered how I would go using something with such a strong smell but then once I used it I found it to be a really beautiful summer smell. However, if you were someone who didn’t like strong/sweet scents – I would not recommend this product. I also liked how sweet and nice my hair smelt for the few days after. I found you only needed a small amount as it went really far (unlike some shampoos that don’t lather up too much). My hair always felt really clean and fresh after using. I would recommend this shampoo – I feel like it will be really refreshing and nice to wash your hair with do after a day at the beach! It is nice to have affordable shampoo options like this on offer.
