Contains two my most favorite skin and hair nourishment ingredients so definitely am a bit inclined towards it. But this product delivers it all given that I have really frizzy and tangled up hair. the jelly like texture is amazing for feel and It smells heavenly . It makes the whole bathing experience beautiful and leave my hair soft, smooth and frizz free. Also, a little amount will do the magic and you do not need a handful. Because its free from any parabens , chemicals, it is definitely a great pick for this price. Highly recommended.

It is non-oily and the scent is beautiful. The packaging is sleek and typical of herbal essences. The ingredients are very good quality and the no nasties formula is what really attracts me to the shampoo. It’s foams up nicely and is very easy to use, making it a very pleasant in shower experience. I would recommend it to anyone who feels that they need a shampoo that can get right down to the scalp, while still being gentle and not stripping the hair.

It lathers well and felt like it did a good job cleaning my hair. I had to use it twice when my hair was especially dirty. My hair looked and felt pretty good after using this shampoo. Not A huge difference from its usual texture but I did notice that after air drying it looked pretty manageable and not too frizzy or flat. A great value option when you don’t want to splurge on shampoo but need something that works well and will leave your hair feeling. Ice.

It did not disappoint. Firstly, like the rest in the range I love the features - it is sulphate-free shampoo, cruelty-free, silicone free, colourant free, and has great ingredients. I like that the bottle is also recyclable. The Avocado and Aloe feels like an extremely nourishing combo, and smells divine. It left my hair feeling extremely clean but not stripped of its natural oils. For this price point the bottle is extremely generous - especially when on sale. I love this range, and am excited to continue using the different ingredient combinations.

Allows you to see the benefits of this Herbal Essences shampoo easily compared to other types and brands. First time using it, when I poured some into my hand the smell was divine. It made my hair smell amazing but unfortunately, it did not stay for too long. The next day it was slightly smellable. It has also helped smooth my scalp. It has always been hot and dry. Ben trying to find a solution for my scalp for ages and this product has hep a decent amount.

It smells fantastic and lathers very well in my hair so I didn't need to use a ton of product to get that lather going. It left my hair feeling nourished, soft, shiny and clean. I felt that it kept my hair cleaner for longer too. The packaging was easy to use and looked fresh and bright in my bathroom. I highly recommend this product to anyone with oily roots and dry ends or who needs something to tame and smooth their mane.

It left my hair feeling very clean and fresh, and I found the scent to be quite nice too. I am quite sensitive to scents and I was really glad that this one wasn't overpowering. I was really glad that it didn't take away from my experience with the shampoo, but rather added to the feeling of freshness. My scalp is rather sensitive and dandruff is a concern for me so the fact that I didn't get any when using this shampoo was brilliant, a very welcome surprise. That was the icing on the cake of an already wonderful experience.

This product has left my hair feeling nourished and refreshed. 5 stars as it has no nasties, and the fragrance is so calming. I love Herbal Essences, I used to enjoy the products, particularly for the fragrances, since I was a kid. I stopped using the products after switching to more natural alternatives, but was impressed with this one. Give it a go if you like a more natural alternative, with nourished and fresh feeling hair, and a good fragrance, that lasts the day.

It was easy to hold and squeeze, and I appreciate the see-through plastic as it made it easy to see how much was left. I didn’t need to use much to get a large amount of foam going, which I like. I find some shampoos without sulphates don’t foam as much as ones with sulphates so it was fantastic to not sacrifice the amount of foam for a safer product. It has a lovely fresh scent which I find delightful. I don’t have the best sense of smell so it was mild to me, which is great for those who don’t like strong fragrances. The results were fantastic. It wasn’t stripping at all and it instantly nourished my hair. I did try it just on its own to properly gauge how hydrating and nourishing it was and it was very impressive. For those who don’t use conditioner, this would be the perfect shampoo to use for healthy hair. I would definitely recommend this shampoo to anyone who wants healthy looking and feeling hair, especially those who might believe certain toxic ingredients are necessary for effective results.

I have bright red hair and it surprisingly did not strip the colour out, which my normal shampoo sometimes does! A little goes a long way in creating foam. It deeply cleaned my scalp and revived my hair after every wash. My hair was left shiny, soft and easy to manage. Almost frizz-free. Plus points are the natural ingredients and its vegan stance. My only wish is for the packaging to have a pump instead-- easier, more hygienic and prevents wastage. Would definitely purchase myself.

After opening the flip top lid I noticed how beautiful and refreshing the scent is, I started by wetting my hair then applying around the size of a 20c piece to my scalp and hair, I liked the consistency of the shampoo it is of a medium gel like consistency. It lathered really well and as I have thick hair I shampoo my hair twice each time I wash my hair. sulphate free the potent aloe and avocado oil shampoo was so gentle yet nourishing on my hair and scalp. After rinsing the shampoo out I followed with the Herbal Essences bio:renew Potent Aloe & Avocado Oil Nourishing Conditioner. Not only is it so nice to use I love that the shampoo is ph balanced, kept my coloured hair looking great but it is also cruelty free, it comes 90% natural origins and has 0% sulphates, silicones, parabens and colourants. After using this range my hair felt great it also looked nourished, it smelt really nice, I was able to comb and style it well. I would recommend this shampoo to others.

It’s a huge bottle.. Now first impression upon first opening. I noticed the scent which was quite strong, also while going on, but subsided to a milder scent once washed away. It lathered nicely and washed all the dirt and products out of my hair. The consistency is right and you need a little bit to clean your hair. I wash my hair every 2-3 days and this smells and looks great the whole time. Paired with the conditioner it left my hair looking smooth, shiny and healthy without weighing it down. I would buy this product again.

I don't typically stray outside salon only products but this might just have to be a re-buy. I'm usually suspicious of established brands coming out with more sustainable products but this is definitely not green-washing and just plain old good product. The silicone free formula is great for maintaining my (expensive!) blonde thin hair. It's not harsh yet thoroughly cleanses, it's hydrating and it doesn't tangle up my hair. The scent is LOVELY and it has a fantastic lather. Use a little bit and wash twice as with all shampoos - the bottle will last you a long time. The sort of jelly formula also allows for really precise application and while I didn't get through my whole bottle, I imagine the formulation would allow for use of every last drop instead of being wasteful. I'd love to see more of this from Herbal Essences in the future Maybe offering a refill would be a good idea too. Overall, definitely a must try!

This shampoo smelt divine and felt so luscious every time I went to use it in the shower. It has aloe and avocado oil and is sulphate free so it’s great to know it’s not full of nasties. It was very gentle on my hair and scalp, nourishing and did a good job at making my hair feel clean after use. The formula is cruelty free and is made of real botanicals, healthy anxtiodidants and smelt amazing - I would definitely purchase and use this again. I recommend this shampoo to everyone.

It makes my very dry and frizzy hair feel so soft and clean, I love that it has no sulphates or any nasty ingredients in it. I have always been such a big herbal essence fan and I love their new range. I share this with my whole family. I feel as though it really cleans my scalp and my hair stays clean for a couple of days without washing it. I got this as a trail along with the conditioner and the hair mask and I feel as though they all work so well together to get soft and clean hair.

A small amount of product goes a long way, meaning that the bottle lasts longer. My hair also doesn't feel dry after shampooing twice - where with other products, leaves my hair feeling stripped of any goodness. Overall, Herbal Essences bio:renew Potent Aloe & Avocado Oil Nourishing Shampoo combined with the conditioner and hair mask does everything you could need from a shampoo, and is a great addition to add to a low-budget grocery shop.

I have long, wavy hair that is damaged and dry due to colouring and styling. This shampoo definitely helped with manageability and frizz reduction. The scent was lovely too without being overpowering, it was light and fresh. My hair is very thick and I did need to shampoo it about 3 times each time to ensure I cleaned it properly. I would probably use a clarifying shampoo first however for the purpose of this review, I wanted to see how the shampoo cleansed on it’s own.

The packaging is great size larger than expected and only need to use a small amount. While the smell was initially strong this reduced to not be too overpowering but lasted for for a while. While only a small amount is required I did have to use the shampoo twice to start foaming but cleaned hair well when used. Loved the fresh smelling and clean hair used this every second day to keep hair fresh and renewed. Great brand and lovely renewing shampoo which is great to use with conditioner and hair mask.

The shampoo is a gel type consistency and doesn't foam like crazy when your rubbing it in. The shampoo smells great, its a fresh scent thats not too overwhelming. Cleans well and didn't weigh down my natural curls. It was able to rid my hair of all product and oils. I was easily able to get 3 days out of my wash. Overall a good product and I would recommend. Unsure that I would re purchase due to the rrp as I think that is higher than I would be willing to pay for a drugstore brand.

The scent is strong a pine-like sharp but once washed away and towel dried it becomes a rather pleasant subtle waft in the air. I felt I didn’t need to use a lot for it to generously lather and work into my hair, a good 10cent piece would do the job ( I had short/medium length hair), I felt it worked for some of my hair issues like dullness, voulumising and adding a nice healthy glow. I would recommend this yes.

I liked the way it gelled with my hair, after use (combined with the hair mask and matching conditioner) it left my hair feeling soft and didn't cause my new curls to split. I've never tried (nor heard of) herbal essence before and so far have nothing but positive things to say. only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is due to the bottle being cheap plastic and the cap being hard to open with wet hands - which isn't ideal when washing ur hair in the shower - for the price of $20 i would be expecting a bit nicer packaging. overall i think its a good shampoo and gets the job done well but likey wouldn't buy again unless on sale.

I have thick and extremely damaged hair and usually have a hard time finding products that are suitable but this aloe and avocado shampoo actually worked well with my hair, made it feel clean, smell clean and I was able to run my fingers through my hair afterwards. I would recommend this shampoo to anyone looking for a quality product at an affordable price. The packaging is appealing and looks nice. And the conditioner bottle has a star cut out so the conditioner comes out star shaped which I thought was a really nice touch. All in all this is a great product and I would have no issues recommending this to my friends and family.

Definitely one of the best smelling shampoos i have used. My hair felt so soft even after using just the shampoo. The product develops a very nice lather and coats the hair nicely. My hair felt soft and clean after using this product but didn’t leave it dry which is a bonus. I did find that my hair did get oily faster than it normally does. Overall i found my hair feeling fresh and light, might just need to wash my hair more often. Definitely would recommend if you looking for a nice smelling product.

It’s been hard to find a good quality shampoo that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg. And well doesn’t this just do the trick!!! Firstly, the smell is absolutely Devine, it’s not over powering and lasts for a few days leaving your hair smelling fresh and clean. I have always gone back to using Herbal Essence for the smell, the way the shampoo lathers and the feeling it gives when your hair is clean and dry. Works wonderfully with the conditioner and mask! Very happy

You only need a small size of shampoo as it lathers nicely and goes along way. I love the smell of this product (it's the best part) and have found that the scent has lasted for a few days making my hair still feel fresh, even after a sweaty workout! I also dye my hair and have found that this shampoo hasn't changed my colour or made it dull. This is an affordable product that I will continue to purchase.

I like the bottle [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Herbal Essences Bio:renew Potent Aloe and Avocado Oil Nourishing Shampoo has a fresh, spicy scent to it that lasts for hours. It ticks off most of the things I look for in a shampoo for example no paragons, sulphates, ect. The added oil is what I always look for in a shampoo which is another tick. It cleanses the scalp well and doesn't make the hair feel really dry which is very important for me. It also helped slightly detangle the hair, however I wish it was a bit more moisturising. It worked well on frizzy hair (didn't make the hair frizz as much) I would definitely purchase this for my daughter but I would personally prefer something more moisturising as I have naturally curly hair. The packaging of the bottle and the design is very eye catching and looks really good. If I saw this at the shops, as a consumer, I would have definitely bought for 2 reasons, 1 the packaging and 2 the details listed on the bottle. After using this shampoo, I am viewing it as a regular shampoo. There is nothing particularly special about it and it hasn't changed or improved my hair.

I love that the shampoo has no hidden nasties in it like sulphate as i never use a shampoo that has sulphate in it. This is something I really look for in a shampoo not just for myself but for my partner as well. After just one use of the shampoo my hair and scalp felt so clean and nourished that I was already looking forward to my next hair wash day so that I could feel fresh again. I can confirm that this shampoo will be bought again as not only did I love the product but so did my partner, as a tradie he finds it hard to feel like he has clean hair and this deffs made his hair look amazing

Honestly, can't get enough of the smell, so fresh and clean. Definitely does its job nourishing, makes my hair sooo soft and luxurious. It's gentle, but gives your hair and scalp a good clean! I even use it on my 5-year-olds hair, he loves it too. I love how it sulphate free and free from silicones and colourants because that's important to me when using a shampoo. Highly recommend it to all hair types, but especially dry hair. This shampoo, conditioner and even the hair mask will become your new best friends!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice scent [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This shampoo has a nice exotic and fresh scent that lingers in your hair for a few hours after washing. It is a nice thick consistency that lathers up into a really nice foam, and leaves your hair feeling clean, fresh and soft. I wouldn’t say it’s anything amazing but for the price, it’s an affordable option for a luxurious shower experience and is free from all the usual nasties, which is great! The only negative is that my hair gets oilier quicker than usual (wouldn’t recommend for oily hair types).

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Everyday [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried and tested Herbal Essences’s bio:renew Potent Aloe & Avocado Oil Nourishing Shampoo which is so nice on the nose and smells lovely. The great plus that I look for is a natural sulphate-free shampoo - tick gently nourishes and cleanses hair - tick and not an crazy expensive shampoo - tick. It easily detangled my hard and the packaging is perfect for shampoos. Definitely recommended this for an everyday washing type of person - ie the wider family. This will defiantly become a stable in the grocery shop
