I have blonde hair and have been so excited to see how much shine this set can give me. Considering it is marketed as a colour shine product, I was a bit disappointed. BUT it was so good in other areas - it made my hair have heaps of volume and it looks so healthy! I am pleasantly surprised. The fragrance is nice. It lathers nicely on my hair and it feels so soft and smooth. I didn't feel like the spray added anything to the routine but it didn't not do anything either! I really enjoyed this product and maybe it would suit darker coloured hair? I'm not sure. This is a great combo set to use in between purple shampoo. I like how healthy it makes my hair feel.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from The trusted shampoo for dry and dull hair [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] John Frieda is a trusted brand I use for my dry and damaged hair and this shampoo does not disappoint. I understand how important a shampoo is for daily routine. I am glad that I found this shampoo which keeps my hair healthy and silky. The vibrant shine shampoo is light weighted but moisturises and nourishes my hair gently with the sulfate free formulation. It also leaves a subtle rose smell which is soft, pleasant and not overpowering. I do not currently have the hair coloured. However, it still gives the extra noticeable gloss and shine to my usually dull hair. I would recommend this affordable shampoo.

However I have previously used the John Frieda blonde shampoo, conditioner and blonde mask which I loved so I’m not surprised I also really liked this vibrant shine range. I felt it made my hair soft to touch and the leave in spray easily detangled my hair which is great for brushing wet hair. Overall, I loved the smell, the packaging and how this range made my hair feel. I will purchase again in the future!

The mechanism is very easy to use. The application is easier than what I thought it would be. Just uncap and squeeze a 20 cents amount into your palm and mix it with water. It lathered easily and apply it by massaging into the scalp. Easy to wash off too. Not too much of lathers formed and the after wash is amazing! I noticed shinier scalp and hair after blowing and this is noticeable amongst my friends too.. This product can ve easily found in supermarket or pharmacist.. Find it and try it yourself to notice the difference.. It's a better product as you get what you paid.. I wil definitely re purchase it and try other range of the same product..

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used hair care products from John Frieda but surprisingly never tried their shampoo and conditioner before. Just never got around to try it. So I was very excited to try out their vibrant shine colour range. I have mid length hair that is colour treated, fine and dry all year round. I'm hoping this shampoo will give my hair some shine and hydration. Firstly, the shampoo has a mild floral scent which is pleasant and I believe it is from the rose hip oil. I use about 20 cent coin size amount of product and apply on my hair, massage it for a minute then rinse off. Then I use the matching conditioner. The whole in-shower experience was pleasant as it was easy to remove the shampoo thoroughly off my hair. I was very happy with the outcome as the product didn't make my scalp dry. My hair felt so clean, fresh, silky and bouncy after use. The only con I have was that I didn't see much shine or maybe I was expecting more shine. Overall, a great shampoo and recommend to others to try.

I loved how it left my hair feeling smooth and shiny and I also found my hair styled better after using it. A small amount was only need eachtime to get these results aswell. This shampoo is something I would definitely buy again as it is a great price and can easily be bought at your local Woolworths. Oh and it smells absolutely amazing.

I've always walked past them, wondering what they would be like as they have that high end appeal for a supermarket product. The packaging is sturdy an appealing and I liked that the Vibrant shine colour shampoo could be used for natural or salon coloured hair. On opening the shampoo I was impressed by its pleasant but not over the top fragrance. It was easy to lather with two rounds of washing a must. Unfortunately it left my hair feeling heavy. It didn't leave my hair feeling oily, rather that is wasn't it's bouncy self after using other shampoos and my hair felt heavy. I can't really say that it left my hair feeling shiny, but it didn't appear to strip the colour or look brassy which is a bonus!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good staple shampoo [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having recently dyed my hair, I thoroughly enjoyed this shampoo for its compatibility with colour-treated hair but also providing those really nourishing benefits. Although my hair went through some aggressive bleaching, this product, especially when combined with the matching conditioner, really helped in keeping it from knotting up and feeling dry. It has a nice clean smell that isn’t too overpowering, though I didn’t exactly find that my colour washed out any less than it normally would with shampoo not suitable for coloured hair. I also didn’t notice MAJOR differences in the shine, but my hair did overall look quite healthy. The texture does feel quite luxurious too. All in all, this shampoo is a really nice staple in my haircare routine that I will continue using up.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great smell, leaves hair smooth but didn't love it [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first time using John Freida products on my hair and while I loved the smell and my hair was shiny, I wouldn't say I was in love with the product. I use sulphate and paraben free products on my hair from the hairdresser so while they were similar, I found my hair had a little more frizz when comparing to NAK. I normally allow my hair to air dry and this is when o noticed my hair liked the product the least. I used in conjunction with the conditioner and shine spray. I'd buy the shampoo and shine spray again but a little hesitant on the conditioner.

I have dyed my hair to dark brown colour so when I am choosing hair care product I like to use the ones that are particularly friendly for coloured hair. This shampoo smells quite nice and natural. I like that it is sulphate free and silicone free which I have the peace of mind to use everyday. The foam is quite easy to wash off with water and my hair feels clean afterwards. I am happy with the product overall and will continue to use it in future.

It lathers well, smells nice and clean, rinses easily and a little goes a long way. I have dark, naturally shiny hair, and must admit I didn't notice any more oomph in that department. HOWEVER I would 100% use this product again. I found my hair holds the shape I blow dry it into very well when I use this in conjunction with the conditioner. It's bouncy, looks healthy and smooth. It also plays well with the texturising sprays I use, along with my dry shampoo. My hair isn't weighed down or oily while using this which is a nice change from other shine inducing products which can flatten my fine hair. Only missing a star due to not offering a bit more in the shine department, however is not enough to turn me off the product!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It’s ok [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve recently tested the Vibrant Shine Colour Shine Shampoo from John Frieda and yes it did clean my hair and it had a soft scent which was nice but unfortunately I found it on the dull side. I found my hair feeling a little dry after washing my hair out with water. But sometimes that happens with shampoo so i continued with washing my hair. I have used other John Frieda shampoos and have had good results but I have to say I wasn’t as happy with this result especially knowing it’s meant to bring vibrancy and shine to coloured hair and unfortunately I just didn’t receive what the product said. But other people might think different.

It's just a little too thick and I don't find it cleans my hair super well unfortunately. Was really excited to try this range, but unfortunately for thinner my dyed blonde hair it wasn't so great. Might be great if your hair doesn't get frequently oily quickly and is a little dryer. I wouldn't repurchase this one, or this range. .

I have very long, very straight blonde hair and was super excited to try this out but unfortunately I didn’t notice much shine compared to my regular shampoo. It has a nice light, fresh scent with a lovely texture and foams up very nicely for a sulphate free shampoo. I think if you’re struggling with very dull hair and are avoiding silicones and other harsh ingredients I would give this a go it might work for you

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not Hydrating Enough For My Hair, Sadly [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the idea of more radiant/shiny hair so I was excited to try this shampoo from the Vibrant Shine range, especially as it doesn’t contain SLS/SLES sulphates, parabens or silicones and is cruelty free and vegan. I love the pink packaging and how it stands out from other products in my shower. It is easy to grip and squeeze, and I only needed a small amount to cleanse my hair. It lathers up nicely and smells fantastic; a blossomy type scent that I really love. It rinses out easily and doesn’t feel drying, though compared to the previous shampoo I was using, it isn’t as hydrating. As far as shine goes, I did notice a slight improvement but was expecting a little more (perhaps the impressive advertising increased my expectations unrealistically). I used this with the matching conditioner and spray and while my hair does appear shiner, my hair prefers the effects of my previous shampoo and conditioner (which are not targeted for shine) so it’s not a range I would go for at the time. I will definitely revisit when I colour my hair next, though, as that is one thing I have had trouble with, the gorgeous shine that comes with colouring disappears very quickly. If your main issue is dullness then I would recommend giving this shampoo a go, along with the Vibrant Shine Conditioner and 3-in-1 Shine Spray for maximum results.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Shine boost [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This shampoo was great for my bleach blonde hair, overall it made it look very shiny and glossy after I washed it. I used it along with the conditioner and 3in1 shine spray. I believe the trio of products is what gave the best result. If I didn't have coloured hair I probably wouldn't use these products again, only because it wasn't very hydrating. Even though it looked shiny and glossy it still felt dry and not moisturised like it does when I use other nourishing shampoo/conditioner duos. I used the shampoo twice like I usually do to cleanse my scalp from the dead skin build up, and it didn't foam up very well compared to other shampoos. So I probably used a little more shampoo than I normally would, however it is a good price and not too expensive. Overall I would recommend this shampoo to my friends who had coloured hair and wanted a shine boost, but I would recommend they use all 3 of the shine products together, and maybe incorporate another hydrating product if they do have dry hair normally.

I have fine, thin hair and it can be hard to find a product that doesnt weigh it down. I had high expectations having heard good things about John Frieda but Unfortuantly I was left disappointed. The product lathered well in my hair but I felt like I couldn't wash it all out properly, as if there was a residue left. And it also weighed my hair down, making it oily within one day of washing instead of my usual 2 days. Not a product id recommend if you have fine, thin hair.

I really like the scent (roses) but that's about as far as i'd go with what i enjoyed. I didn't see any additional shine or vibrance to my hair (used this with the conditioner & heat protectant shine spray). I also found it not to spread very easily in my wet hair as it's a thick texture which also made it a bit hard to squeeze out of the tube. I had to rub the shampoo between my hands a lot before i applied to my hair otherwise it just wouldn't spread. My hair stayed clean for about 2-3 days as it does with my previous shampoo. I wouldn't repurchase and won't continue to use though.

As cute as the packaging was, I expected more. This shampoo and conditioner combo is, in my opinion, not worth the money. Unfortunately it left behind an oily residue, and my hair felt thick and clunky the same day it was washed. I couldn't run my fingers through it straight after brushing, and I needed to re-wash my hair the same day to get rid of this product. The packaging says "Vibrant shine", but I found my hair looked dull and flat after using this. Will only ever use this in an absolute emergency, pretty disappointed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The packaging is beautiful and best while travelling as in form of tube packaging so no spills at all. The shampoo smell so beautiful. Texture is beautiful and makes the perfect lather . It does leave a good shine to my hair and leaves them smelling so good. The only problem I had with it is that. My hair are very fine, thin hair with no volume at all and after its use my hair becomes more limpy and no volume at all . So not a product for my hair type. But highly recommend to those who want shine in their hair and don't have any volume issues.

I shampooed my hair twice as I normally do and noticed straight away then my hair felt really gummy and was difficult to run my fingers through. I thought after in the conditioner, it might help, but it didn’t. I made sure I rinsed it out really well and let my hair dry naturally, and it’s dull sticky. I can’t even run my brush through it properly. My hair has no movement and I want a refund. This product does the opposite of what it claims. My hair feels filthy.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not for me [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have fine wavy hair with oily roots and bleached ends. I wanted to love this product and anything labelled shine can be hit and miss for my fine hair but this was just plain awful! The shampoo lathered really well which showed promise, however it struggled to break down the oils in my hair, even after double and triple washing. It only got worse over the coming wash days. After washing and drying my hair, I was left with this really thick greasy feeling at the roots, it was worse than if I hadn't washed my hair in the first place. But at the same time it made my ends feel like straw. I was hating my hair for the 2 weeks I tried to make this work. The shampoo smells to me like that rose/floral scented bar soap that your grandma would use, but not in a nice nostalgic way. All in all this product was so bad I wasn't even willing to pass it onto a friend who usually loves hair products I hate. No one deserves a bad wash day.
