Directions

Place the brush at the roots of your lashes and wiggle it, so you really darken and define lashes with the mascara formula, then draw up to pull through the tips.
To build intensity, add a second (or even a third) coat for lashes that are dramatically lifted and volumised yet still feel as light as a feather.
To define your bottom lashes, wipe any excess mascara off the wand with a paper towel, then hold the brush tip vertically and swipe from side to side.

The wand is easy to use, lifts and sculpts the lashes into a fantastically lifted shape. This is mainly due to the wand brush, which can easily be rotated when applying to create extra lift. The formula is easy to build, long wearing and doesn’t flake. To remove it does require some good makeup remover to get off though otherwise you are left with panda eyes. A very good mascara overall in terms of volume, lift and wear. And what’s even better is the price!

I was pleasantly surprised though! It was so easy to apply, it separated my lashes so nicely and I was able to build it up well without it getting clumpy. It lasted really well throughout the day. As long as I powdered around my eye area otherwise it would smudge and transfer a little. Not a massive amount of anything so I’m not really bothered. It felt so light on my lashes and held the curl pretty well. Some mascaras I’ve used in the past are so heavy and make my lashes straight within the hour but this was amazing. Overall I really liked it and I think it’s actually going to go in my regular rotation of favourite mascaras!

The black is a true black shade. I did not have any issues with clumping or flaking throughout the day. The wand is pretty good and I felt that it gave my eyelashes a good amount of volume. I wore this on a few nights out and also to work and really liked the look it gave. I did only apply 2 coats as I think 3 for me would be too much. I would recommend this mascara to anybody who is looking for a great volumising mascara that is readily available.

It’s slides on really well onto your lashes, The wand of the mascara easily curled your lashes and it made it possible to add extra layers without clumping I did notice at times there were excess amount of product on the wand, I did have to wipe some of it off (so it wouldn’t clump onto my lashes) The only other issue I experienced, the Mascara did run under my eyes. The Size of the mascara definitely match the retail price, I believe you get your value for money and A product that would last a while.

With this specialised brush, so much product comes off it, leaving my lashes coated in mascara. However, one coat is more than enough, as because of the small plastic bristles, they hold so much product and put it onto the lashes immediately, so if I apply twice, my lashes get clumpy and dark so I have to brush them out a bit. This mascara lasted me all day. I actually forgot I had it on and rubbed my eye, and there was no smudge, which is amazing. It’s not too heavy as well. Left my lashes long and dark. Would recommend.

It gives such a natural look! Really love it! The colour is a great black too and you don't even need many coats to make your lashes look lovely and long. Lost a star as it doesn't last as long as I'd like - by the end of my work day I have some smudging under my eyes that I need to wipe away. The packaging is ok, honestly not overly appealing if I was at the shops, but I'm glad I got to trial it as it is a great product I would buy again.

Great dark black colour so perfect for enhancing all natural lash colours. The wand is quiet thin which helps for long looking lashes and easy application. It Adds great length and coats the lashes easily Also adds some thickness not clumpy when applied Easy to apply to bottom eye lashes I would use this mascara as an every day look mascara or on my bottom lashes with stop lashes if I wanted a more out there look. Long wear time I wore it for 8+ hours with no wear off of mascara or no smudging under the eyes

Lashes look bold and don't stick together like so many other mascaras I've used in the past. The spoolie design is great for getting right in the corners and outsides of the eyes and also nice and close to the lash line for maximum volume. I would suggest doing a primer before application if you have one available, if not then go in for two coats of the mascara itself. I've been using the Benefit mascara for a while now but the So Fierce is just as good and half the price, definitely a product you can use every day and much easier to purchase from your local beauty store. The packaging is a little lacklustre but the mascara itself is great

I have long lashes naturally, and I use 2 mascaras in my beauty regime, so i can ensure i have length and volume. I found this mascara to be a really deep black (which I love) and for me, i think it really added volume (not so much the length). It does get a little flaky if I used too much, but perhaps the lesson there is less is more. As a contact lens wearer, this was a bit of a problem for me. I liked that it would not smudge around my eyes during the day. Whilst its probably not my favourite mascara (due to the flaking), I cannot deny it is a longlasting mascara, which gives a beautiful volume enhancement. Absolutely worth a try!

The mascara itself is a really nice thick black consistency and coats the lashes well. The one thing I was not a huge fan of was the wand, it is big and plastic, i found it hard to get close to the inner lashes, I normally go for thin bristle wands personally. Because of the brush I found the mascara to clump and smudge a little. I used a curler before applying and it worked well. As always with revlon I think this is quite a good quality product for the price.

The brush is an awkward shape so it makes it hard to get into the outer corners of your eyelashes. I also feel like the brush distributed way too much product making it quite spider-y. But I did love the formula of the mascara itself, I used it with old mascara brushes and I didn't have any issues transferring and it became a really lengthening mascara which I loved. Overall, loved the formula, and hated the brush.

I think knowing that better alternatives are available at a very similar price point made me wonder if I’d purchase again. The packaging is average, red and black with a cannabis leaf as the product contains hemp oil - if my grandma saw it, she’d probably freak out! The colouring was a really dark black which I did appreciate and it went on well with a nice shaped wand head. Unfortunately the biggest downfall for me was the smudging I experienced late in the afternoon.

It was red/black and wasn't as appealing as I was expecting; I dont think I would give it a second look if I was at a store. Once I opened the mascara, I noticed that the wand is thin and the spoolie is designed for great application even at the edges. However, I found that I had to apply this mascara 5-6 times in order to reach the desired results ( volume and curl). Also, there wasn't much lengthening even after so many coats. The colour is black and and gives a more natural look than a "glam night"look. Another positive note is that it does not clump your eyelashes together. I noticed that I had smudging under my eyes throughout the day so this was a little disappointing for me. There was also a little flaking after 4-5 hours after application. I do not like the feeling of always having to look in the mirror just to check for smudging. In all I would probably rate this product 3 and a half stars out of 5. I was satisfied but not to the point of returning to buy again as it just did not meet my expectations of a mascara for everyday wear. The smudging is probably the main reason why I would not purchase again. I do not think that I would recommend this mascara to friends. There are cheaper mascaras that I have previously used which do the job a lot better.

I have oily eyelids and without powder it didn’t transfer all day. The formula is very black. The wand is plastic and stuff and looks like it’s designed to be applied while twisting the brush but the way I apply mascara I blink into it and wiggle. The brush deposits a lot of product into your eyelashes and you need to brush it out while it’s still wet to avoid it looking clumpy. With a little extra work like that I found I didn’t need to go in with a second layer. I do like this mascara but the brush is too stiff I wouldn’t buy it again just because of that.

It put so much product on my lashes and made them clump together. The brush from the original So Fierce is much easier to use. The formula is a great formula, it feels soft on my lashes and doesn't make my lashes feel heavy, but the brush makes the product hard to use. Will be going back to the original so fierce and in the meantime using my original brush with this formula. Maybe Revlon could consider upgrading the original So Fierce formula to this one.?

At first I was not impressed at all and it left my eyelashes clumpy. However, my liking towards this product grew over time and it definitely lasts all day and makes your eyelashes longer! I found this mascara to also be quite a dark black coloured This mascara does run A LOT! Accidentally wore it in the water or shower a few times and it was not a look, it requires more than usual effort to take off. For the price it does the job.

The black and red colours are appealing when comparing to other brands - it helps it stick out. The mascara itself was a lovely thick black constancy and looked great on my lashes. The only thing I wasn't a fan of was the brush/applicator itself. It was hard to get an even distribution across my lashes and felt like it caused the mascara to clump easily and my lashes to get stuck. The brush didn't really do it for me or stick out as a winning feature. Still a lovely masacar overall but not my style of bush.

The packaging is alright and the wand was comfortable to hold. The colour of was a rich dark black, super opaque. I found that the formula seemed to clump my lashes together which overall created a bit of a spidery look - not so cute. It did, however, do a nice job in defining the lower lash line and made them look extra long. Ended up having to tidy up some smudging around the edges towards the end of the day but this didn't bother me so much since it didn't promise to be waterproof.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Mal D from Revlon Eyes Wide Open Mascara I am very disappointed with this mascara, I don't like the shape of the brush it makes application very awkward, and when the mascara is applied it is very wet and clogs so I need to use an old mascara brush to separate my lashes which then results in black particles falling onto my cheeks - not good.
