Directions

Step 1: Wiggle the mascara wand through your lashes from base to tip, lifting lashes as you go.

I love the effect “better than s**” gives but it tends to dry out and irritate my eyes. This gives me the same effect but is moisturising and have noticed my lashes have grown since using. Will def buy again.

I don’t get black marks on my eyelids throughout the day, and it lengthens my eyelashes while not clumping them. Love that it’s made from natural ingredients and it’s also easy to remove.

Honestly almost none of them do what they claim and I don't know how they have good reviews. This mascara is actually good. It goes on smoothly, smells really nice, and I love that the ingredients are all clean and nourishing for the eyelashes. It doesn't clump while applying or smudge and flake throughout the day. I got it on sale so it was great value and I will repurchase when it runs out. I love it! Definitely recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been wearing the Rimmel London Kind & Free Mascara everyday for two weeks straight and couldn’t be happier with the outcome. I often find my eyes become sore or itch after wearing making all day but I was happy to find this mascara didn’t irritate my eyes at all. The mascara is light and goes on well. I found it gave a casual look where my lashes seemed lengthened and thickened but the bonus is you don’t feel like you’re wearing anything! And you have to love that it’s organic, 100% vegan and kind to animals.

I have eyes that are sensitive to some mascaras, but have had zero irritation with this clean, green formula. The brush is a classic format, and not too cumbersome or bulky. I put two coats on my top lashes for a well defined look, with zero clumping. I put a single coat on my bottom lashes, and found the brush easily managed this too. The formula wore well, and removed easily with either micellar water or eye make-up remover. I would happily purchase this product, and recommend it to anyone wanting a clean, green formula that works a treat

This product claims that it is kind and free - I had a look at the ingredients and the usual ingredients that I avoid weren’t in there. As I was googling the ingredients - I was excited to see the other kind and free range that I can’t wait to try. It’s not a product that will be sitting on the drawer without being used. I loved the mascara because it was natural and very light on the lashes. It doesn’t look fake, heavy or clumpy. Strongly recommend.

I’ve always been reluctant to try mascaras from other brands as I’ve always been loyal to one. But i really love this Rimmel mascara. It gave my lashes really great volume and length as well. It came off easy as well. I used a make up remover wipe one day. And a microfibre makeup remover puff the next day. With both makeup removers it came off well easily. Mind you my lashes are short and thin so for me it was amazing!! I would definitely recommend this mascara. I was pleasantly surprised by it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's been quite a few years since I've used a mascara from Rimmel, so when they released a clean, vegan lengthening mascara - I had to try it! I thought the packaging was quite cute and had a neat format. The brush is like any lengthening mascara with wide bristles and wasn't a goopy formula. Smell was pleasant but would of thought that being a clean formula, it would of have no scent. Having finer lashes I did do three coats with drying in between them. Brush and formula worked really well - it lengthen and volumized it a touch. No clumps so my lashes spread out really nicely, almost wispy. It held all day in the heat and even throughout the night. I've been impressed by this mascara by Rimmel and has given me confidence to go back and explore more of the Rimmel range. To be honest, I think it's the best lengthening mascara I've used so far - so would highly recommend!

Clean and kind makeup that’s cruelty free, vegan and with 99% ingredients of natural origins is increasingly appealing to me when considering my products and to top it off it’s water resistant as well. I found this product to be subtle but effective. It didn’t clump on my eyes and the wand was long but thin, which I like, because you can get really close to the lash line. It washed off easily, which I’ve found isn’t always the case with water resistant mascaras, and it stayed on well throughout the day without running down my face by 3pm. I would buy this and recommend to my friends!

It’s the consistency that I love as it’s really volumising, but buildable. It makes my eyelashes very long and dramatic especially when I apply a few coats. I appreciate that it is vegan and I’m very pleased that it has 99% natural ingredients, this makes me feel like I’m treating my eyelashes well. I noticed that my eyelashes seemed not to be falling out as much while using this mascara. I found that it didn’t run during the day, even when it was very humid. It didn’t flake under my eyes or transfer to my eyelids, but best of all, it only needed one wash, not a double cleanse to remove it before bed. I would recommend it to everyone.

The blue tube is a great size yet still fits easily in my handbag. The mid size brush is easy to use and easily coats every lash evenly, perfect for volumising and lengthening! The mascara was a good consistency and applied smoothly. It starts off quite minimal but it’s a buildable formulation to get the result you want. I wasn’t a fan of the smell which was quite strong, but thankfully it’s only really the mascara in the tube that has the strong smell, it doesn’t really have any smell when you apply it on your lashes. The best part is that it was able to last all day yet it’s easy to remove at the end of the day with the rest of your makeup. A great new product that I will definitely use again!

It has great coverage and keeps every lash separated so you end up with a beautiful soft, fluttery look. There is absolutely zero clumping or smudging, it stays put all day and best of all, you can't feel that you re wearing it. It is not for you big and bold night out look but is perfect for your everyday look. I didn't think I would love it as much as I do but it will be a staple in my makeup bag from now on.

I have fine, fair, short lashes and rely on mascara to make them appear visible. This mascara ticked so many boxes for me. It gave me length and volume more effectively than the mascara I have currently been using. Lashes were more visible after just one coat though I did apply three coats each time to enhance lash appearance. I love that it is not clumpy and left my lashes feeling natural, not stiff. I use micellar water to remove mascara and this mascara removed so easily and completely, leaving no residue. In short, it is a great every day mascara. I would probably still use a different mascara for "wow" impact for night time and special occasion use.

But boy was I wrong! The Rimmel Kind & Free mascara glides on my lashes without clumping or stiffening and it just looks like I have long dark natural lashes. It stays put all day and no panda eyes. But when it’s time to remove at the end of the day there is no rubbing and there is no irritation. The Rimmel Kind & Free mascara is made from 99% of ingredients of natural origin, smudge-proof, water resistant and lasts up to 36 hours. This is my new favorite mascara that actually conditions my lashes.

I'm always happy to support any product that is cruelty-free and vegan, the question is whether it will perform? This product does!! I am someone who likes a fairly natural looking lash and this mascara is a your-lashes-but-better product. It never clumped up, even when I'd apply 3-4 coats and it is smudge proof. Even with 3-4 coats my lashes remained soft and I never experienced any irritation while wearing it. It washes off quite easily and I've noticed my lashes are very soft and healthy since using it. I'll definitely consider purchasing this mascara for continued use and I'm confident in recommending it to others to try.

I received it in the colour black, which is my most preferred when it comes to mascara. The light blue packaging is easy to find in my makeup bag. I love the finish it gives my lashes. I really like that it is made from 99% natural ingredients. The organic shea butter leaves my lashes feeling nice and nourished. I would definitely recommend this clean mascara for anyone looking for a vegan and kind alternative. I would definitely purchase this mascara again as I’m really happy with the volume it provides for the perfect eye look.

The design is very minimal and not bulky. It’s buildable, it doesn’t give you a falsies eyelash look it’s more of a no make up make up look. It enhances my eyelashes without making it too obvious that I’m wearing mascara. It looks very natural. I love it. It’s not clumpy at all. Gives you a very effortless not too much look. It’s great to wear on a daily basis. I’ll be recommending this to anyone looking for a good mascara. Even if you like the falsies look this would suit an everyday make up look soo much better

It left the lashes with a gorgeous lengthen wispy look. My lashes didn't go clumpy at all. Its not your dramatic full on bold lash mascara, but that's not what it's meant to be. I love the idea of it being cruelty free with better ingredients. I didn't notice any irritation around the eyes, which i sometimes do. As for conditioning part with Shea butter, I can't say I really noticed a difference at all, but I've only been using it for a couple of weeks. I would definitely buy this product again as and Evey day product and I look forwards to seeing some conditioning effects

I have been having problems trying to find a mascara that I don't react to and I finally have - the Rimmel London Kind & Free Mascara!!! It comes in a good size tubing, has a basic brush, which assists in applying the mascara. The mascara product itself is a little more wet, rather than thick, but I actually liked that quality myself. It was easy to apply, lasted all day and was super easy to take off. The most important part though, I didn't react, my eyelashes didn't fall out and my eyelashes were much healthier than usual. I highly recommend this product for people who may have sensitive eyes/skin or want a more natural cruelty free brand!

I often choose waterproof mascara to avoid it running, particularly on a hot day. At first, I wasn't sure how this would hold up in the Australian sun. I wore it on several hot days and even a few wet ones, including one where I had to make a quick dash to the door in the rain and definitely got my face wet. I was expecting black rings around my eyes in the rain or at the very least, some transfer to the area around my eyes but it stayed in place all day without needing to do any touch ups. For me it passes the test, no transfer or running from perspiration or rain, no irritation or perfumes and it did a good job of lengthening without looking clumpy or unnatural. For the price, it does a much better job than other brands I have spent a lot more on. I would definitely recommend this mascara to anyone after a natural look (even to other waterproof fans like me) and I would purchase it myself next time. Extra points for being Cruelty-free and I'm keen to see what other products will be part of the Kind And Free range.

The packaging is my favourite blue, and I love that it is vegan. I usually use a black brown as I like a subtle natural look. This black mascara feels so light weight and doesn’t go on clumpy or thick. Sometimes I have a reaction to mascaras and my eyes go red, no reaction with this one. It didn’t smudge during the day and was so easy to remove at night time. I will definitely be buying this again. If you love a natural look but still want to wear mascara this product is for you.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Super happy to have been part of the trial team for Rimmel London Kind & Free Mascara as this little beauty is definitely a must try and has now become a keeper in my beauty drawer! The product comes in a cute fresh blue tube. The brush is thinner than a normal standard brush and I must say does a brilliant job at keeping my lashes separated and that look of being thicker, fuller and longer, and lasts all day long without flaking or smudging! With one application it is perfect for that natural fresh look. However for a more dramatic lash look 2-3 coats is best. It builds nicely, still keeping lashes separated and not clumped together. It gave my lashes a nice lift and I feel it keeps them well conditioned thanks to the shea butter and biotin. No dry flakes on my cheeks when applying either! I've been using Rimmel London Kind & Free Mascara for a few weeks now and my lashes seem nice and healthy. It really is a gentle product. I also love the fact Rimmel London Kind & Free Mascara is exactly that... Kind to the animals so not tested on them and it's vegan!, and free from any nasty stuff! 99% of the ingredients are natural! so so so good!

I used to love Rimmel and their make up products when I was in my early 20s but it’s been years now since I last used their products. So, I’m just getting straight to the point and say I absolutely love it! And I don’t only love it for obvious reasons (cruelty free, vegan, natural) but it’s actually a great product! It’s lightweight and does not leave my lashes clumpy. The brush is minimalistic and simple, which makes it easy to apply. Love the natural look it leaves! So yes, it’s not your “party until the morning” type mascara but more like “just quickly popping to the shops” type.

I have straight Asian eye lashes that tend to drop its curl after layering mascara but this formula is so lightweight it stays curled! The smell is a bit strong but besides that, the formula is so silky on the lashes, no clumps and it looks so natural on. I like to wear this during the day when I don't need much make up on with some concealer and blush and I am ready to go. Packaging is also lightweight, easy to carry in your purse. Overall it is a great every day mascara for a natural healthy look that is vegan and environmentally friendly.
