I have a really sensitive scalp and it often gets quite dry ! I was pleasantly surprised when I felt no irritation and my hair when dried felt hydrated and fresh. It also left my hair shinny and smooth for longer then other shampoo’s I have tried. So that is another thing I loved about this product. My husband also loved using this product and it’s the first shampoo we can both share. A big thumbs up from us ! We loved this product and will be buying it again. love the smell of this product and the size of the bottle and the shape is great to.

I am really picky with shampoos as I find it really hard to find a great shampoo that really cleans my hair without leaving it dries out. This shampoo is a real winner, not only is it sulphate, silicone, paraben and colourant free but it nourishing and has left my hair feeling really clean and fresh. The fragrance is lovely and not overpowering at all. I love when you can smell your hair the day after washing it, and this did just that! The shampoo lathers really well so you don't need to use a lot of product. This range is slightly more pricier than I expected from Herbal Essence but I will look our for it when it goes on sale as I will definitely be putting this product on my shopping list.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cleansing and nourishing [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Herbal Essences bio: renew Potent Aloe + Manuka Honey Shampoo left my hair feeling so smooth and nourished. it suds up so nicely and it feels like it cleans may hair is well too. I used this shampoo after going to the beach and it got ride of all the sand and salt water out of my hair. it got my hair back to its normal self. Although it cleans very well this shampoo does not strip my hair which is important because I already have dry damaged hair. I use this hap along with the conditioner and oil blend spray and my hair feel amazing afterwards. the sent is so pleasant too the aloe and manuka honey sent stays in my hair all day but is not overpowering. I really recommend this product for damaged hair.

The Herbal Essences bio:renew Potent aloe + Manuka honey shampoo was a delight to use. The bright green packaging is very striking and looks lovely set on my bathroom shelf. I love the shape of the bottle and with the flat lid, you can store it upside down to get the last few uses out of the bottle. The scent of this shampoo is hard to describe, a little fruity and kinda sweet but not sickly so. In all honestly it simply smells AMAZING! The lather comes up really easily and quickly covers the entire scalp which is very appealing to me. The shampoo leaves my hair feeling soft and nourished and I don’t have anything negative about it. I was very happy to be apart of this trial and would absolutely be purchasing this, and maybe others in the range, again.

I can say that I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of product, Herbal Essences Aloe and Manuka Honey Shampoo. The Shampoo is packaged in a recyclable green plastic bottle, reflecting the natural fragrance of the shampoo. It smelled amazing, and compared to many products in this price range the fragrance was not synthetic; it was soothing, relaxing and enjoyable. The shampoo lathered well on my thick long hair, it removed the oil, dirt and styling products from my hair and scalp without overly stripping my hair. The shampoo left my hair feeling clean, refreshed and nourished.

Second, you don't need to use much of the product - it has a nice lather to it and I can feel it cleaning my hair. Washing it out, my hair felt clean but not dry. Strands were moisturized and smelled great. I love that it's gentle and I can use it every day. I like that it's a green bottle and it contains natural ingredients. In terms of the wash and overall experience, it lathers well and my hair and scalp felt clean after using it but sometimes I did notice I have long, fine hair and sometimes shampoos can 'dampen' my hair so it looks flat and lifeless but I didn't have any issue with this one.

So I’m grateful for been given the opportunity to trial this pack of shampoo, conditioner and hair oil blend. The first thing that’s noticeable about this Herbal Essences Potent Aloe + Manuka Honey Shampoo is the bright green coloured bottles, they’ve always stood out. It made my hair so hydrated and so soft, it looks so much healthier and silky. And smells amazing!! I definitely recommend this shampoo especially paired with the conditioner.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nourishing and effective shampoo [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I naturally have dry, thin, medium length and straight hair with a semi oily scalp which has been bleached several times This shampoo is a great size, has a fruity delicious smell, and has also left my hair feeling very soft and nourished (obviously after applying conditioner – which is from the Manuka and honey and aloe Vera). The shampoo is a smooth texture and you don’t need too much of it as it foams really well (my hair is medium to long length). I wash my hair twice with the shampoo, once on the roots and then again middle to ends of my hair. Then, I apply the conditioner and leave it in for a couple of minutes. The shampoo is great value, it is free from sulphates, parabens and other nasty ingredients that are unhealthy for your hair, and actually leaves your hair smelling good and feeling smooth.

I have coured hair so I find it hard to find a great quality shampoo that feels nourishing and doesn't cost the Earth! After a few uses I definitely felt it strengthened and moisturised my hair really well. I use this once or twice a week and my hair always feels healthy and soft the next day. If you are looking for an affordable option with consistent results then definitely give this shampoo a go! Pros include the recyclable bottle, free from sulphate, parabens, colourants and silicone. You won't regret it!

Using the range was so simple, the formula dispensed easily and didn't leak at all from the flip top lid. When opened I was instantly drawn to the wonderfully fascinating, sweet scent and when applied the shampoo lathered well offering a good, thorough clean. It provided excellent nourishment and hydration, leaving locks feeling refreshed and pampered. I like that it is 90% natural origin and doesn't contain any sulphates, silicones, parabens or colourants. This is a fantastic shampoo that I would recommend to others and use again as it offered great results that left me very happy.

The shampoo lathers on my hair well and does a great job cleaning out the hair grease and dirt. I have long dry hair that breaks easily but after using this shampoo, my hair feels well nourished, hydrated with less breakage. I have used this shampoo for few weeks now and I can see that my hair feels stronger, silky, nourished with less breakage. Absolutely can't get better for such affordable shampoo.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No harsh chemicals - Great eco friendly Shampoo [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first time using Herbal Essence Manuka Honey Range shampoo and I am truly shocked by the difference in my hair, after just 2 uses. I would say my hair is well looked after to begin with and I do not keep changing on my shampoo or conditioner but after just one use and then particularly the 2nd shampooing, my hair had more shine than I would have ever expected from just a shampoo. It is soft, shiny, has lots of bounce and is full of body. I simply did not expect this kind of result, especially at this price point. More to my surprise is the fact that this is part of a more ecologically friendly series and it has been my experience that while these new products are very good and important for bettering our environment, they are not always very effective compared to the "older" style of products. Not true here though, this one sports a much better ingredients list than we are used to seeing and yet, works very well. I will say this however, I found that unlike alot of other shampoos that I have used, this one really does benefit from the "wash, rinse and repeat" approach. It simply provides a much stronger lather, on the 2nd application. So, I find that I am using a little more of it, per wash. This particular variety is the Potent Aloe Manuka Honey. It is a pleasant enough fragrance but nothing overly in your face and much to my relief, I experienced no skin irritation, from my rather sensitive skin. I am really impressed with this brand. I know it has been around for awhile and I don't know how it has performed previously but this variety leaves me impressed, especially at this price point. I definitely recommend it to anyone who is conscious about their hair especially if it’s sensitive and they are looking for a budget friendly sulphate free option without the high price point.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I definitely had my reservations at first - I associate Herbal Essence with a supermarket brand (which there is nothing wrong with that might I add - but it was totally acceptable for my hair as a kid/early teens, but not now as a blonde who spends hundreds a month on hair care). When I opened it, I smelt the same wonderful smell that I remember of this brand but was very pleasantly surprised to see how moisturising and creaming both this and the conditioner are! In using this, the conditioner and the hair oil blend, I felt the same smoothness and moisture as I do with my usual high end salon products. I will definitely consider incorporating this as part of my hair care routine as its far more affordable than my usual products. 10/10 would recommend! + its an added bonus that this contains no nasties.

Even more, I love that this product is free from nasties and chemicals while still producing a foamy lather. This shampoo really cleaned my hair but still kept it soft and silky, not drying it out. I can use this everyday knowing that it won't damage my hair which is an extra plus! Will continue using this and explore the other scents and range that herbal essence has available!

I really loved using this shampoo and conditioner for a number of reasons. it smelt just beautiful, refreshing and a gentle floral scent which wasn’t over powering when my hair dried. My hair was shiny and soft after using the shampoo and conditioner and although I didn’t get as long as I normally would between washes I would definitely get it again and continue to use it on myself and my family. I loved that the packaging told me how to dispose of it to get the most benefits to support recycle, reduce, reuse and I loved that the cost was family friendly. I would definitely recommend both the shampoo and conditioner

It was gentle but effective, cleaning but not stripping my already dry hair. I used this product in conjunction with the conditioner and moisture oil, this was the dream hair trio! My hair has never been so soft, shiny and smelling so lovely! I would definitely recommend this product if you are looking for a fresh scented shampoo that is gentle on damaged hair! I have only been using it for one month and I am already obsessed!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderfully nourished hair [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For reference, I have long thick hair that has never been dyed and I don’t have a sensitive scalp but am prone to getting an oily scalp on the 3rd day of not washing my hair. When I used this Herbal Essences shampoo, it had a noticeably nourishing effect on my hair ever since I started applying this a couple of weeks ago along with the matching conditioner. I loved that the shampoo garnered a thick lather upon use which helps when I’m massaging the shampoo from root to tip. The day after use I can certainly feel how much softer my hair is and this goes to show that it indeed works to moisturize each strand as it claims to do. The aloe and honey scent smells amazing and it doesn’t smell like those artificial aloe vera scent you normally find in beauty products. It reminded me of the luxurious spa days back during those non-COVID times when I holidayed in Bali. I also noticed that the scent lingered the day after and much to the delight of my partner! Highly recommend that the conditioner is used along with this shampoo in order to maximize the benefits of having healthy and moisturized hair. Love the added bonus that it is also free from sulphate, parabens, colourants and silicone.

The shampoo is made with natural ingredients and contains aloe vera and Manuka honey to help hydrate the hair. The look of the bottle is really appealing and I love the bright green colour. It also does not contain any parabens, silicones or sulphates. I normally shampoo my hair every other day but for the sake of the trial I decided to try it out everyday and see the results. First things first, it smells incredible! I love products that have a nice scent to them. Second, you don't need to use much of the product - it has a nice lather to it and I can feel it cleaning my hair. Washing it out, my hair felt clean but not dry. Strands were moisturised and smelled great. I love that it's gentle and I can use it everyday.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Clean and hydrated hair My hair is more on the normal side but during the colder months my hair and scalp definitely get much more dry so I need to use more nourishing and hydrating products. The aloe and Manuka honey shampoo is a good product for my hair because it does what I want which is to clean my hair and scalp and to also leave my hair hydrated and soft. The shampoo smells great and it lathers up well. My hair is thick so I need to use enough shampoo so it can clean every part of my hair. Once I rinsed it out my hair and scalp felt clean. My hair did feel somewhat hydrated but I think the addition of the conditioner helped with that a lot more. It doesn't weigh your hair down nor does it leave any residue. It's vegan, cruelty free and free of sulphates and silicone.

The directions tell you to apply generously and even after 3 weeks use the shampoo has gone a long way - the shampoo lathers up really nicely and makes your hair feel super clean and fresh. It smells lovely and fresh as well as making your hair feel nice and soft after washing. I felt that my hair didn't get greasy as quickly and kept that fresh feeling.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great smell and overall good experience [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Firstly the tropical smell of the shampoo is great and leaves your hair smelling fresh even in the days after your shower. It also lathers up quickly without needing too much product, so this particular shampoo will last a long time. My hair is pretty dry and damaged from bleaching and colouring and after using this shampoo, along with the Herbal Essences conditioner from this range, my hair definitely feels more hydrated and nourished. However, I think because it is a hydrating product my hair gets oily a lot quicker and I end up having to wash my hair every 2-3 days (usually can go 4-5 days between washing). While the initial look and feel of my hair is great, it does look dry again the second day after wash. Because of this I wouldn’t recommend it for damaged hair but it is still a great product for normal-dry hair and is overall a luxurious shampoo experience. I love that it’s also free from nasties.

This herbal essences shampoo smells really great and lathers up well! My hair had more volume & shine after several uses when I used it with the matching conditioner and leave in spray. My scalp and hair had moisture, where my hair is often dry. I had less frizz and more shine that lasted through out the day. It left my hair smelling good all day. I had used this brand since I was a kid and was excited to try it out again and see if it was as nice as I remembered. I would definitely purchase to use again.

The Herbal Essences bio:renew Potent Aloe + Manuka Honey Shampoo smells so great—not too chemically or sweet like some of the others. And, it makes my hair feel soft and strong. Particularly, this product didn't make my hair super volumized and fluffy making it easier to style after drying. I would recommend this product for the price. Personally found the shower experience really enjoyable with such a great scent, I also didn't have to use much product to cover all of my hair well. I'd never used this brand beforehand but I would definitely purchase again!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Smell! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first thing I noticed is the colour of the bottle – it is bright and looks great in my shower! When using the shampoo, there is a lovely fresh scent of Manuka Honey and Aloe, without it being overwhelming. The shampoo lathered up easily and I didn’t need much to shampoo my hair. I always shampoo twice and my hair felt clean and refreshed. In combination with the conditioner, I am very pleased with the results! This shampoo is fantastic for those of us who are trying to avoid parabens and sulfates and instead use gentler products! I will continue to add this shampoo into my rotation.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Controls frizz and smells lovely [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the smell of this shampoo it’s so lovely. I found it very hydrating and nourished my dry ends. It left my hair feeling soft with a nice healthy shine while controlling my frizz. It didn’t leave me with an itchy or dry scalp which I’m very happy about as I have trouble using some shampoo products because of that. I have a very sensitive scalp and I didn’t have any problems with reactions while using this shampoo. I like that it’s a generous sized bottle. I’d definitely recommend this shampoo to those wanting to control frizz and provide hydration to their hair.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Dr. Pepper Vibes [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was lucky enough to be trialling this Herbal Essences bio:renew Potent Aloe + Manuka Honey Shampoo. First off, the I like the packaging and the beautiful green colour. The scent was lovely, it kind of reminded me of Dr. Pepper? That might just be me though. I’m a double-shampooer and it lathers up nicely. It left my hair feeling soft and clean. My hair is naturally wavey and after a wash, it can get pretty frizzy (especially after the first dry brush). I feel like it helped make it less frizzy, but didn’t totally get rid of it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice affordable shampoo.. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a really nice affordable shampoo from Herbal Essences. It has a nice fragrance with the manuka honey and aloe, lathers up well and cleans the hair without drying it out too much. I used it in conjunction with the conditioner as well as the treatment oil for a few weeks, and my hair responded well to it. It leaves my hair feeling soft and looking healthy and shiny. The packaging is also reliable and easy to use in the shower. I think it's a nice shampoo for the price, and I would probably repurchase this range from Herbal Essences again.

I firstly used the herbal essence renew Potent Aloe + Manuka Honey Shampoo. The first thing I noticed was the smell! It smells so good! Also it is very thick so you only need a small amount as it lathers really well. I like how it left my hair feeling really nice and clean. It’s great to see these products have plant based ingredients and no sulphate, silicones, parabens and colourants. Also a big plus for me is these products are animal cruelty free. I would buy these products again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Exceeded my expectations [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved this product, I have long hair with blonde highlights and find most shampoos leave my hair feeling very dry and straw like before conditioning, this product however is nourishing with the Aloe and Manuka honey, it works up a good lather and leaves hair super clean after the one wash (which normally I would shampoo twice) once I conditioned the comb just ran through without having to fight through many knots, I let my hair dry naturally it was so shiny and soft and the colour looked brighter than ever. I Love the fact it has real botanics and no nasty’s just the way I love my facial/ Skincare products and not to mention the SMELL is amazing with the Manuka honey…. Yum almost edible! I usually stick with the one brand of shampoo and conditioner after trying so many and none of them work with my hair, this product has definitely exceeded my expectations. I would definitely recommend to my family and friends to purchase this shampoo along with the conditioner, I have definitely got a new favourite and will be purchasing this for me and my little family. Thank you for the opportunity to try this product I have gone out of my comfort from my usual Haircare products and am loving this new range! 4stars from me!
