Use For
1. Stopping Immediately

How many pieces of gum do I use?
Weeks 1 to 12
1 piece when you have an urge to smoke or every 1-2 hours. Do not use more than 20 pieces/day.

After 12 weeks
Gradually reduce to 1-2 pieces/day and then stop use.

Use For
2. Cutting down

How many pieces of gum do I use?

Gradually increase gum use (maximum 20 pieces/day) and reduce smoking with the aim of stopping by 6 months. If you have not cut down at 6 weeks or stopped at 9 months, see your doctor/pharmacist.

Use For
3. Combination Therapy

How many pieces of gum do I use?
If you have relapsed with single nicotine replacement therapy (NRT) or if you have cravings with single use NRT, you can use Nicorette® 2mg Gum, in addition to Nicorette® Patch for better craving relief. Use patch as directed and aim to chew at least 4 pieces (maximum of 12) of Nicorette® Gum 2mg every day. After 12 weeks reduce use of Patch or Gum (see pack insert).

Chew-Park-Chew:
1. Chew gum slowly until taste is strong or you feel a slight tingling sensation.
2. Rest gum between cheek and gums.
3. Chew again when taste has faded. Repeat until there is no more tingling.

USAGE ADVICE

Nicorette Gum works by relieving nicotine cravings and withdrawal symptoms. It may be used to:
1. Stop smoking abruptly, or,
2. Cut down smoking before stopping.

I have gone from smoking a 30 pk a day to about 15 a day.... hoping to cut that dramatically within the next few weeks. I have positive feelings

I have now been using the gum for 7 weeks, I stopped the smokes straight away, why have a temptation there. I'm using about 6 pieces of gum a day. The craving is taken away immediately. I highly recommend this product. The amount of money I'm saving,the health benifits are great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from heavy smoker can cut back to half just from gum.... good start its been 3 years in trying and im down to 2 packs a month..... I used to smoke 2 packs a week... I should be off them by Christmas 2017......the trick was to have 2 gums at the same time in the morning and stick a packet of gum in the car and one in your pocket of the 4mg... I found icy mint had a pretty good flavour and I buy 2 boxes of 150 pieces at a time.. trust me I was a heavy smoker and the gum worked.... I also started with the inhalers but now im just on the gum... the other thing I found to help was starting a vegetable garden which kept me busy....... and a wheel barrow market by my front gate from potting up surplus from my garden..... best of luck.. owen

I have tried nicabate gums first then i went to buy more couldn’t find those on shelf thought your value pack will be same but sorry to say the quality of gum is not good. Its very very hard and i was exhausted in 10 min. Your gum is very hard to chew where as i was chewing nicabate gum for hours and it was like fun. Please note i am not saying product is not working i am only not happy with the quality of gum. Also if i can return these gums would be great because they are hard to chew. Thanks
