General Information

Bitter tasting nail polish to prevent nail biting and finger sucking.

Common Uses

To stop nail biting or finger sucking in children over 3.

Ingredients

Ethyl Acetate, Isopropyl Alcohol, Butyl Ester of PVM/MA Copolymer, Adipic Acid/Neopentyl Glycol/Trimellitic Anhydride Copolymer, Isopropyl Ester of PVM/MA Copolymer, Butyl Acetate, Alcohol Denat., N-Butyl Alcohol, Denatonium Benzoate, Acetyl Tributyl Citrate, Benzophenone-3, Water (Aqua), Violet 2 (CI 60725).

Directions

Apply a coat over the entire nail (or polish) and allow to dry. Repeat the application every two days (after removing the previous coat of Mavala Stop with Nail Polish Remover). Continue the treatment until nail biting is ended.

Is a really foul, bitter taste. Is stopping the biting but also discouraging the habit itself as is associated with the yucky taste

Rated 5 out of 5 by from AMAZING! Literally saved us thousands of $$ Absolutely amazing product. 8yr old daughter was a severe thumb sucker, day and night. Consult with dentist and was going down the path of needing a plate fitted to stop her. This was our last resort. It only took 3 applications, 1 week and she stopped. It’s been 2 months now and hasn’t sucked her thumb once

I wasn’t sure about this nail polish because I didn’t want it to be a punishment. However, she doesn’t find it awful tasting - it’s only mildly unpleasant. So it’s been fantastic and the only thing that has worked to stop thumb sucking. With her getting older, we were feeling the pressure to stop her thumb sucking and I’m so glad I’ve found this product.
