OPTIFAST Program is intended for use as part of the management of people who are obese or overweight when there is associated secondary pathology e.g. non-insulin dependent diabetes, hypertension, osteoarthritis, hypothyroidism corrected by replacement therapy, gynaecological disorders, hyperlipidaemia or where obesity is an impediment to surgery.

Very low energy diets are not recommended for use by pregnant or lactating women, infants, children, adolescents and elderly. Directions

Add one sachet of OPTIFAST VLCD to 200-250mL of cold or warm water. Stir, blend or shake to dissolve. Do not use boiling water. All prepared products should be tightly covered and consumed within 4 hours at room temperature or within 24 hours if refrigerated. Note: Discard any unfinished product that has been heated.

But how do you find other wholesaling arms of a chemist chain, or even which wholesaler chemist sells directly to the public ? By pure chance I asked Mrs Google this simple question " Optifast coffee flavour, best prices" and in seconds Mrs G came up with 18 wholesale suppliers and their buy prices and shipping costs, if any. I love the coffee flavour. I love that the texture of the shake is not overtly thick. There’s no aftertaste and it keeps me full between meals. Win, win! I only buy the Coffee Shakes and I never get sick of the flavour. Easy to stick with.

I have this shake every morning for breakfast because I’m a coffee lover and my usual Doubleshot latte with two sugars is no longer possible. Is incredibly palatable and filling and sees me through till lunchtime together with at least a litre of water. I should also add that I feel completely healthy. I’m happy to be on this journey.

But for me, personally, i am let down by taste. I like coffee, hense my choice. Also it's quite expensive if you need it on going.
