Common Uses

Enriched with Vitamin C, Kakadu Plum and Licorice Root Extract, Bondi Sands Gold'n Hour brightens uneven, dull skin for a luminous complexion.

Ingredients

AQUA (WATER), ASCORBIC ACID (VITAMIN C), GLYCERIN, PROPYLENE GLYCOL, PHENOXYETHANOL, XANTHAN GUM, BENZYL ALCOHOL, CARRAGEENAN, ETHYLHEXYLGLYCERIN, SODIUM CITRATE, CITRIC ACID, CITRUS AUSTRALASICA FRUIT EXTRACT, GLYCYRRHIZA GLABRA (LICORICE) ROOT EXTRACT, TERMINALIA FERDINANDIANA (KAKADU PLUM) FRUIT EXTRACT.

Directions

Step 1 Apply 2-3 drops of Bondi Sands Gold'n Hour Vitamin C Serum to clean, dry skin.

Step 2 Once absorbed, follow with other serums or oils and finish with moisturiser. If used in the morning, follow with SPF protection.

Step 3 For best results, apply morning or night.

I have been using this product daily for about 3 weeks in conjunction with the Bondi Sands Eye Spy Vitamin C Eye Cream and Bondi Sands Sunny Daze SPF 50 Moisturiser. I love the light texture. It's not too heavy at all yet makes my skin feel really smooth and makes it look bright and radiant. I have also received some comments that my skin looks great, so a fab little trio of products to use. It's also a great price so I will be purchasing it in the future for sure. Its consistency is very light and easy to apply and it does not give you that oily feeling like other products. I have sensitive skin and i was so pleased with how it made my skin feel and look. Its notably more gentle than other brands I have used it the past. Because it’s not harsh, you can’t use too much. I think this is a great first product for someone looking to branch out with skincare. Remember it’s extra important to wear sunscreen when using vitamin c! The serum makes my skin feel very smooth, especially along my cheeks and jaw. I feel I look brighter and more radiant using this serum. I’m really impressed with it, especially given the price point. Each time I use it I have noticed my skin becoming brighter and feeling more hydrated, softer and radiant. This is fragrance free which makes it perfect for all skin types. The serum spreads and absorbs very well and I can see that the 30ml bottle will last a long time. I adore that Bondi Sands cares so much about their products that they use 100% recycled materials for all packaging, and the fact that it’s cruelty free and vegan cements my love for Gold’n Hour serum. This has become a part of my skincare routine, and will continue to be a major part of it. I’m loving the comments I’m getting on how much brighter my skin is looking. I have been using the Gold'n Hour Vitamin C Serum (in conjunction with the Eye Spy Vitamin C Eye Cream AND the Sunny Daze SPF 50 Moisturiser all from Bondi Sands) and I LOVE it! Non-fragrant, non-sticky and lightweight its a pleasure to apply before doing my makeup in morning and I like how nourishing it feels too under makeup. I have noticed my skin looks and feel brighter and am SO happy with the price too! Keep it up Bondi Sands! I was gifted this product to trial and review.

It really smooths and brightens the skin, doesn't feel heavy or oily, the smell is very similar to all the other vitamin C serums out there and it's also a scent I've loved so I'm happy with that! I've been using it in conjunction with the other Bondi sands skin care and my skin has been looking great. It's also at an awesome price point so its definitely worth a try. It really looks so much brighter, clearer and overall a much more even tone. I do have pigmentation so it’s been great for evening this out ! Rated 4 out of 5 by from An Ok Vitamin C Serum I’m a huge fan of serums so was excited to try this one especially as a Bondi Sands fan! I really enjoy the consistency and texture of this serum, it feels really lovely on the skin! There is a bit of a smell to the product which I can see people commenting on, but that’s the case with all Vitamin C serums, they all have a distinct smell so if you’ve used one before you know that’s part of the ingredients so this didn’t bother me at all. The packaging is really different to other components out there, but I agree with others that it’s not very user friendly and does leak from the bottle which in turn has dried up around the lid. I think a nice dropper bottle to control how much product comes out would be much better but overall after 2 weeks I liked the way my skin felt and will continue to see the product out. Rated 3 out of 5 by from Vitamin C Serum I love a brightening vitamin C and especially love a serum for my face so was super excited to try this product and even better coming from Bondi Sands as I am already a big fan of their other products but I have mixed reviews and here is why: The fragrance: There is a strong smell to the product as soon as you open the tub, I personally do not mind it but I can see how others have had a negative reaction to it, it is probably due to no added fragrance being added to it but the smell does go as soon as its applied to your face. The packaging bottle: Really cute easy to open bottle but its not user friendly for a serum as my product was leaking when it arrived and when you are ready to apply it to your skin the bottle pours the serum out, maybe a dropper bottle would be better as you really only need a small amount to apply to your whole face so this bottle should last for a long time. Feeling on skin: It is smooth and easy to soak into the skin, it feels great when applied. Results after using for 3 weeks: Okay don't give up, it does work and my skin feels smooth and looks brighter. Would I use again: Yes but I would really prefer a more user friendly bottle, one that does not leak and cause me to waste so much product but it is a good vitamin C serum at a really reasonable price range and it has improved my complexion. Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointed I just want to give credit where it's due and say that $20 is an amazing price point for a vitamin C serum. I really wanted to like this product but unfortunately, that's where most of my compliments end. The packaging is terrible for a serum. It's a squeeze bottle and mine was leaking and was already oxidised. I tried not to let that deter me. The product itself is okay but it has an unpleasant smell and a strange texture. I wanted a more affordable version of the La Roche posay serum but alas, I'll probably have to bite the bullet and buy it again when this finishes.
