Directions

Wet your skin with warm water.
Take a pea-sized amount of the cleansing oil onto your hand.
Gently massage the product onto your wet skin - emulsifying the oil cleanser into a foam consistency and avoiding the area around the eyes.
Rinse well with water and pat dry with a clean towel.
Avoid contact with eyes. If contact occurs, thoroughly rinse with water.

For a long time, I have been using face cleansers that strip away my skin. This cleanser has given the natural glow my skin deserves without it looking oily or shiny. I love that it also has no fragrance. It does not smell bad to me and it means less bad stuff on my face. You can say that this cleanser is more of a detox from all the harsh chemicals that I have used on my face. Also, even though this is an oil-based cleanser, it does not make me break out as any other heavy oily products have done. I will continue to use the product as I am 100% happy with it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have dry and sensitive skin and normally only cleanse my skin with an oil cleanser at the end of the day, otherwise it would be too drying. I have heard a lot of good things about CeraVe products and really enjoyed using this cleanser. I found the oil effortlessly dissolved any dirt or products on my skin. Once I was done, I added some water and it formed a lather that washed off with ease without leaving my skin feeling dry or tight. A little goes a long way with this cleanser and I haven't noticed any negative changes to me skin (clogged pores or dryness) since using it.

I trialled this product as a part of the Review Crew, and it’s been the second CeraVe cleanser I have trialled. Again I was not disappointed. It’s very soothing and not drying in the slightest. My face feels very clean after, it takes off my makeup easily, including eye makeup. It is slightly foaming but not in the drying sense, and my face doesn’t feel oily after. Really loved this product and would buy again. Loving the CeraVe cleansers, and this is perfect for those with dry and dehydrated skin.

As someone with dry-dehydrated skin, I've struggled to find drugstore cleansers that effectively cleanse the skin without stripping it - but now I have found the one! I love the innovative concept of a foaming oil cleanser. I was really impressed with how this oil cleanser emulsified/lathered up on the skin - much more than a regular oil cleanser. I found one pump was enough to be a first cleanse in my evening routine. The foaming oil cleanser rinses off nicely and doesnt leave an oily residue on the skin. My skin is cleansed beautifully, leaving it feeling clean, fresh and hydrated! The cleanser also works well at removing makeup should you choose to use it this way. I found it removed all my makeup, including mascara really nicely. After each use, my skin looks and feels clear, hydrated and clean.

My skin felt super clean and it was super easy to use as well . It came off super easily with my cleansing cloth and I noticed that my skin felt super clean and there was no irritation like with some other cleansers I’ve used in the past I would definitely recommend it for dry skin and for sensitive skin .

It’s extremely gentle on your skin and doesn’t leave a film like other oil based cleansers. I have dry skin and am usually prone to breakouts when I try new products but haven’t had an issue with this! It cleans the skin thoroughly and left my skin feeling clean and hydrated. It removes makeup and other skincare products without stripping your skin, and I don’t feel like I need to double cleanse. It foams well and you don’t need much product, maybe a pump or two. Will defiantly be repurchasing this product when I run out!

I have dry to normal skin and this cleanser left my skin feeling extremely hydrated and clean. I have used it every day in the shower for the past 3 weeks and my skin has felt so soft after each use. I usually get flakiness around my nose and cheeks and this product has fixed this skin issue for me. I have used other cleansers for dry skin but this is definitely one of the best. I have recommended this to friends and family who also have dry to normal skin and they have also loved it. I will definitely continue to use.

My skin runs on the dry side and this cleanser lives up to its name regarding hydration. It removes makeup super easy and leaves my skin feeling fresh and smooth on a daily basis. This cleanser can be used on its own if you are after a more simple routine or as the first step on your double cleanse. The pump design also ensures you don't end up wasting extra product which is definitely a perk. A really effective product at a really affordable price point. What's not to love!?

I’m a fan of CeraVe products and I’m currently use a few of their products, plus have tried a lot in their range, so I was excited to try this. I find their products to be a simple but no fuss and effective solution to skincare which I love. I used this twice daily (morning cleanse on a fresh face and evening cleanse to often remove makeup from the day). It was gentle on my skin and my face felt clean and nourished after using. I have normal to dry skin, and this was perfect for me. My skin almost felt moisturised after using this and it didn’t dry me out like some cleansers can, it had the opposite effect. The texture was unlike any other cleanser I’ve used, it was almost like a thick oil but then once water was added it turned into a lather. I would definitely recommend this product to friends and family, for all skin types and especially to those with sensitive and normal-dry skin.

I received this product to trial through Review Crew. I found this cleanser was able to properly cleanser my skin without being overly stripping, which is a major issue I face with many drugstore cleansers. I have recommended this product to family and friends, and it truly is a unique product. I generally used this product as my first cleanse, followed by a regular cleanser, but I think for ordinary (non-makeup) days, this cleanser could suffice on its own. I did not find that this product caused acne, nor was it heavily fragranced, but I would have preferred if it was completely fragrance free. I overall approve of this product, and being a person using tretinoin, I did not find that it aggravated my sensitive skin, nor did it dry it out. I have not tried out CeraVe products before, but I am considering trying out some of the other face and body products available, based on the performance of this product. I loved the packaging also, and the size of the bottle, it fit neatly into my shower and when I repurchase this product, I know that it is an affordable, effective option for my first cleanse.

I've heard so much about VeraVe and its products but have never actually tired them until now. I am so glad that I have! It's very rare that you notice a difference in such a short period of time but I am absolutely loving the consistency and the texture of this cleanser. It's the perfect balance of leaving my skin feeling hydrated but not oily... which is great for my perpetual fear of having oily skin! I say this is great for a different range of skin types, even had hubby reaching for this in the shower for a nice clean, fresh feel. It's inexpensive and does wonders so I would recommend that you buy this product.

It has some fantastic ingredients in it, such as niacinamide and hyaluronic acid. My skin is normal to dry and so I love the fact that this is a hydrating cleanser. I hate the feeling of being stripped after using a cleanser and this doesn't leave my face feeling like that at all. You don't need much to clean the face, it foams up well and it removes makeup as well. My face feels clean and soft after using it. The size of the cleanser is very generous and the pump is easy to use. My only critique would be that it mildly smells of off apples.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really loved using this product, I have used their hydrating cleaners in the past but found this foaming oil cleanser left my skin feeling more soft and hydrated. It removes makeup quite well and doesn't leave that dry feeling afterwards. My skin in winter months gets very dry and can be dull so found the oil cleanser to eliminate this and my skin looked brighter. Using this product only on my face and neck I find the size really good, a little of this product I find goes a long way and especially when you melt and emulsify it between your hands. My skin can be left red after cleansing with products that have fragrance so I like that this is fragrance free and doesn't irritate.

Seems a bit contradictory and if I am honest I was sceptical about how well an oil could foam, but this is great. Like all CeraVe products I have used, it’s something that I can see becoming a seamless part of my everyday routine. It truly feels hydrating and doesn’t leave the oily film of a oil cleanser. I used this in conjunction with CeraVe’s hydrating cleanser which I already had and felt made it a fair trial for the cleanser and it worked super well. I have been double cleansing for ages and I think especially for the price point that this cleanser competes really well with some of the more expensive oil cleansers I have from Tatcha and glow recipe. I have dry and sensitive skin which often reacts to products that claim to be good for sensitive skin. I had no such issues with this. Just clean, soft skin. I really highly recommend!

At first I was very sceptical about the ‘foaming’ oil however, looks as very deceiving and it’s lived up to its word and delivered. This product builds and lathers up beautifully creating a suttle foaming experience that is gentle for all skin types. This product has left my skin feeling great - clean, clear and definitely assisting my skins outer barrier. Such a great product that I’d whole heartedly recommend to my family. It is very moisturizing and actually successfully cleans off all of my makeup without much effort at all. After using, my skin feels soft and not at all stripped, and my dry, sensitive skin has had no adverse reaction. I think the idea of the foaming oil cleanser is really innovative, although I don't find that it foams up all that much. However, the fact that it doesn't get very foamy has no impact on its ability to cleanse. The size of the bottle is great, I can't see myself running out any time soon, even though I use it every day. This has replaced my old face wash and I would absolutely buy this product again and would recommend it to anyone with dry and sensitive skin.

I have very sensitive skin and this did not cause any discomfort or irritation to my skin at all. Quite often I will react badly even to thinks marketed for sensitive skin, feeling hotness and my skin flare up almost straight away. It does exactly what is says it will and is great removing makeup. It’s quite a nice thin texture but it foams up really well so a little can go a long way. I actually also used it to clean my makeup brushes over the weekend as I was out of my normal product I use and it worked a treat :) I would purchase this again! Doesn’t really have a smell either

I am an avid sunscreen user, so I do need a good thorough clean, but my skin is also combo dry which can be an issue. I have previously used other gentle cleansers, but also felt I was compromising in terms of how clean my skin was or how stripped it felt. This is not an issue with this delightful cleanser. I use it by splashing my face with warm water and pumping out about ¾ of a pump of the cleanser. I then rub it in circles across my whole face. As I do this it suds up. While it is quite sudsy I wouldn’t strictly call it a foam, but that’s just semantics. I then rinse it off with warm water and apply a hydrating serum, rosehip oil and moisturiser. Since using this product I’ve noticed that I’ve had less dry spots on my face, and less times where I’ve felt the need to top up my moisturiser. Given how good this cleanser is, I plan to try a CeraVe moisturiser next. I definitely recommend this for people with dryer skin types.

I have very sensitive skin and I found that this cleanser did not irritate my skin at all nor did it dry my skin out. I love how it felt on my skin also. It didn't feel like it was stripping my skin of moisture, in fact, my skin felt very moisturised after using this product. I also really liked how the scent was not too strong and it was also really easy to apply to my face (i didn't need to vigorously rub). Overall, i am really impressed with this cleanser and i would recommend it to anyone with sensitive, dry skin. It is a great all-around cleanser that does what it claims. It removed all the dirt and buildup on my face and i definitely noticed a difference in the moisture levels of my skin.

In general cleansers dry out my skin. I usually have to alternate between products despite having clear skin or use a bit of moisturiser after cleaning. Used this product for several consecutive days and skin was left hydrated, did not dry out at all. 100% recommend and would purchase again. Only con is I personally prefer the texture of a cream based cleanser. Cleanser was easy to apply and smelt nice. You get a good amount of product so value for money.

It was actually my cousin who loves this product and it is the only brand that works on her skin. She introduced me to Cerave and since, I have been a fan of CeraVe. And when I saw this cleanser coming, I was so excited. I like the fact that it is so light on your skin yet it cleans so well. It doesn't irritate my skin at all which is a bonus! My skin is on a dry note and I've been careful with choosing my product. I am currently using CeraVe SA Smoothing Cleanser and now I have this product. I think I will keep using the oil cleanser. I would definitely recommend this to my friends and family.

After only a few short washes I was already seeing the effects on my skin. From less black heads to dry flakes and the glow that it leaves I was truly pleased. I loved the texture that really gentle on my skin. The scent was crisp very fresh and really added to the experience of the product. I liked the packaging, how it was simple and that I could see the product through the bottle. I really liked the pump as it was easy to control the amount that I needed and I had no issues each time pressing it to get product out, I also liked how you can reseal the pump which is convenient for travel. Overall, a really impressive foaming skin cleanser that really cleans the skin without drying it out. I definitely would recommend!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have dry skin that often feels tight after cleansing (I usually use a FAB cleanser) and this Cerave one didn't do that! In fact, my face felt and looked hydrated. I liked that it's a foaming cleaner, you aren't left feeling there is an oily residue on your face after washing. I also didn't experience any breakouts or purging. The design of the bottle is nice and simple, in line with the Cerave aesthetic. The pump works great, I haven't had any trouble pumping out the product so far. I like that you can lock the pump so that there are no accidents. If you have a dry face you'll like this cleanser.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from In LOVE! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this face cleaner for a week now and I love it! It has a very subtle but pleasant smell. You don’t even need a full pump to wash your face and It lathers well. It does a really good job of removing make up, sunscreen and eye make up. I feel like I could double cleanse with this if I was wearing heavy make up and it would not strip my skin. I have tried other “dry skin” cleansers and have found that they leave an oily film on my face. This was not the case with this cleanser. It left me feeling clean without being dry! I will absolutely be purchasing this again and would recommend to anyone looking for a a new cleanser!

When I received this product I wasn’t too excited to try it as I usually don’t like to use oil cleansers or any type of oil products on my skin. To be honest I would have never ever ever have purchased this product seeing it in the store as it was an oil based cleanser. But after trying this CeraVe Hydrating Foaming Oil Cleanser I was absolutely blown away at how lightweight it felt on my skin and how much is completely removes my makeup. I have very dry and sensitive skin but after using this it feels very hydrated and not dry at all! It foams up but not too much and is easy to apply and rinse off. One pump is enough to clean my whole face and remove my makeup! Wasn’t a big fan of the smell but to me it’s not a big deal! I am so grateful as I would have never tried this cleanser but now I will repurchase and continue to use this every single day!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Newfound Holy Grail Oil Cleanser [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely adore this cleanser and will never not repurchase this! I have really dry skin (especially in winter) and have been looking for a suitable cleanser for a long time now. I also typically double cleanse daily (oil first to remove makeup or SPF and then a cream cleanser), but after trying this cleanser, I don't think I'll need anything else. The oil-to-cream/foam formula removes all my makeup without leaving my skin feeling like it's covered in a layer of oil and in need of a second cleanse. Plus, it does a fantastic job of cleaning stubborn sebum while leaving my skin soft and nicely hydrated. So amazing for dry and dehydrated skin, or for those who are looking to simplify their skincare routine. Not to mention the super reasonable price point!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Moisturising for dry skin! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This has been a remarkably good cleanser for my skin. I have very dry skin and usually after a shower, my face feels incredibly dry and I feel the need to moisturise straight away. After using this as part of my shower routine, I don’t have that feeling anymore. My face feels lightly moisturised. This cleanser feels nice both on application and after use. The product is also very generous - I find I only need to use 1/3 of a pump to cleanse my face, as it spreads and covers so well. I will definitely be continuing to use this as part of my routine. Highly recommended.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for dry or sensitive skin [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A perfect cleanser for sensitive, dry or irritated skin! I have dry skin which can be prone to irritation, redness and occasional breakouts in my T-Zone. This oil based cleanser is super gentle on my dry skin, leaving it feeling clean yet hydrated and nourished. Despite the foaming consistency, my skin does not feel stripped dry of its natural oils which makes it ideal for my skin type and preferences. I love the pump which dispenses exactly the right amount and the value for money. An excellent daily cleanser that I would absolutely repurchase.
