I have always been a fan of Aveeno, I have their body shower as well as body lotion, to shampoo and conditioner. I love it so when I heard that they are creating this body oil spray, I was so excited to try. I have never used oil as a body moisturizing option . Always thought that it would be messy and well, I guess, too oily to use. But this changed that forever. It dries within minutes and I can do other things whilst waiting for it to dry. My partner loves the scent and he joked that I wouldn't need to use perfume from now on. It has a sweet and floral scent but doesn't feel artificial. love the smell and I am so impressed with how long lasting it is on you. After a week of using it, I noticed my skin is more hydrated and softer. Winter in Australia is extremely dry and it's not good for the skin but with Aveeno spray, that wouldn't be an issue. The only thing I wish is that, instead of a spray bottle, maybe a pump bottle would be better and more functional as you would not need to hold the bottle each time when applying to the skin. I would 1000% definitely recommend this to friends and family. Love love love!

I’ve been using this for about a week, and my legs are lapping up the oil that it has desperately needed in this winter weather! I’ve been putting it on every morning, after showering - and the bottle is right, it does dry quickly so I can dress afterwards. The scent is nice, and stays around (even after I wash my hands!) Having it in a spray bottle makes application quite easy too, the spray nozzle did appear to get a bit stuck a few times - but worked eventually. In the end, I think the oil spray for me is better than a cream moisturiser - I much prefer the texture and the scent of this spray! And it’s easier to apply.

Gone is that dry, rough skin feeling, as now my skin feels a lot more smoother and even. I like to use the oil mist straight after I shower at night, when my skin is still damp as I find it absorbs into my skin better. The scent is such a delight, so light and delicate and doesn't react with my sensitive skin. The oil mist is enriched with oat oil and jojoba oil, and the combination has allowed my skin to escape the drying impact of this winter weather. I really like the fact that it contains 98% naturally-derived ingredients and it is also paraben-free. So it is perfect for my sensitive skin. If you like using body oil, you are going to love using this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have always suffered from dry, sensitive skin and have struggled to find a hydrating product that lasts and doesn't irritate. Well, prayers have been answered! This body oil leaves my skin feeling rejuvenated, nourished and mousturised all day. Applying it straight after a shower allows it to obsorb quicker into the skin. The spray nozzle is excellent, dispelling the perfect controlled amount of product for a light application. There is a sweet scent which I love - it's not overpowering at all. My skin is smoother, softer and more even - highly recommend this oil mist, it will be a staple in my routine.

Not only does it smell amazing, it does your skin wonders. Leaves your skin feeling so soft even after one use. I have eczema on my arms, and it did not irritate it at all. And the lovely scent lasted all day. The spray applicator is awesome as well, it comes out in good doses, and doesn't squirt everywhere - it just puts the oil on the part of the body you're aiming at. It is also a big bottle, and you only need to apply lightly as a little goes a long way, meaning the bottle would probably last a few months. I'm so glad i was given the opportunity to review this oil, as i wouldn't have discovered this gem otherwise. 100% love it, so worth it, no complaints at all. Thank you xx

The spray applicator gets irritating as lot of oil gets all over the bottle/packaging. I feel like a pump would be better suited to this product. I use this oil in combination with the Cetaphil Moisturising Cream (in the tub), which has really helped my dry skin. It does dry down, but I recommend giving it time to.

I typically steer clear from oils as my skin generally isn't too dry and I often don't like the feeling of oil on my skin. I made an exception for this given the time of the year. My dry, winter skin liked this product. It left my skin feeling smooth and hydrated, and not as greasy as other oils I have experienced, although I'm not sure I'd call it a 'mist' (thicker, oil texture). It absorbed fairly quickly and I thought the scent was pleasant and subtle enough - if you like the smell of body oils. Like other reviewers, I think I would have preferred a pump applicator. I was wary of the spray before I used the product, so I sprayed it into my hands first. If you were spraying it directly to your body, I can imagine it'd leave quite a mess. Overall, I liked the product, but would potentially only have a need for it during winter. Because I'd have limited use, I think this will last me a long time, so I don't know if I'd purchase it when I run out.

As someone with quite dry skin I loved the sound of the ease of a spray on body oil. I’ve tried many in the past so was curious to see how this one from Aveeno compared. I’m also a big fan of the original Aveeno moisturising lotion so was keen to give this a go. The bottle is generously sized. I was glad to see it in a plastic bottle rather than a glass one which I’ve normally had. Oil covered hands on glass bottles and bathroom tiles are always a risky proposition! I also loved that this was a pump pack rather than aerosol as I felt this made the application much easier to control and less likely to spread onto surrounding surfaces. The scent was my most favourite thing about this oil. It took me a while to place what it was but it reminds me of coconut. Very tropical smelling and delicious! The oil is easily absorbed and doesn’t mark my clothes at all. I put it on directly after my shower while my skin is still damp to help with the absorption. My skin feels lovely and smoothly soft after application but unfortunately that feeling doesn’t last too long. I personally found this not quite moisturising enough for my dry Winter skin but can definitely see myself pulling it out again in the Summer months when I want something a little more lightweight.

My skin just soaked it up, even my really dry elbows and knees have improved immensely since using it. It goes on really well and soaks into the skin, it smells good too, not too strong but with just a hint of scent. The sprayer did get a little clogged but if all else fails just undo the lid and tip a little into your hand. My feet loved it to, I'd use it after a shower and then put socks on and they're so soft and smooth now. I would definitely recommend for dry skin.

The bottle is tall and skinny, fitting well in the palm of your hands while you spritz the mist onto your skin. The product contains oat oil and jojoba oil. The scent was not too overpowering, however, it is just not a scent I personally enjoyed. It is best to stand on a mat and do a full body spritz, before rubbing into the body, as the product leaves an oily residue on your hands and the mist does fall to the floor. The oil absorbs easily, helping to condition dry and rough skin. I noticed the soft skin and instant shine from the first use. I have sensitive skin and did not notice any irritation when using the oil mist. After a week, I did notice that my skin was more smooth. Overall, I did like the convenience of the product and effects of the oil mist. However, I just did not personally like the scent. I would still recommend this product to anyone looking for an effective body oil.

I normally moisturise my body daily and can still have my skin feel dry after. This moisturising oil soaks right into your skin and leaves it looking and feeling hydrated all day, with no oily residue left on my skin. This packaging however just doesn't work - The spray does not come out as a mist but as a straight squirt. Also spraying on your skin as you would a mist causes the product to land on anything you have behind or around you. I have had to scrub my wall from the oil marks left and also have 2 ruined items of clothing from oil marks falling in them. Strongly recommend spraying directly into your palm before applying.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Aveeno Daily Moisturising Oil Mist Very lucky to try the Aveeno Daily Moisturising Oil Mist. Wouldn’t usually go for an oil as my mouritizer but it was good to get out of my comfort zone and happy with the trial of this product. It is always good when you see a product that is free from parabens, phthalates, mineral oil, silicones drying alcohol and synthetic dyes and then it is also suitable for hyperallergenic and sensitive skin. Easy to follow and read information on the bottle. The pump top allows a good amount of oil out on each press. I mainly used it on my legs, especially great for winter when my skin is more dry. The oil mist smells amazing! I love the combination of the oat and jojoba oil scent! Great combination. Recyclable plastic bottle too.

I haven’t used oils that much, and they’ve usually been in a pouring bottle, so I was excited to try a mist product. The bottle was really easy to hold and spray, requiring only a light touch on my skin to absorb the mist. I would recommend using this just after a shower for maximum absorption! The direction of the spray was sometimes difficult to control, so that was my one minor issue…hopefully I get better with more practice!

Aveeno products have always been good for my very dry and sensitive skin and I hoped the oil could help too. The mist was very easy to apply and absorbed quickly. Almost immediately the oil made my skin felt smooth so I definitely think if I continue to use the oil I will see it continue to make an improvement to my skin texture. This oil would be good for using together with other Aveeno moisturisers and I would recommend it to people with dry, sensitive skin.

The sizing of the bottle was very generous and will last a long time! The smell was lovely and felt great on the skin and really is moisturising. It dried into the skin quickly and made the skin look soft, moisturised and shiny! Even placing this on after fake tan would be amazing and make your skin just look perfect! Only negative is that when you rub it into your skin it leaves a lot of oil on your hands that you need to wipe off with a cloth but overall a great product that I would highly recommend!

The scent is also pleasant without being too overwhelming I would highly recommend to anyone wanting to quench thirsty dry skin However after a few pumps I find the bottle gets a bit slippery and with my oily hands and the slippery bottle it becomes difficult to use. It would be extra difficult for those with hand issues such as arthritis Nevertheless it is not a deterrent to me and I would definitely recommend to anyone wanting extra hydration and Extra smooth and soft skin

I have been using Aveeno’s moisturiser for a few years now, in particular Aveeno Skin Relief Moisturising Cream. It is a must for me in winter as I have very dry skin, especially on my shins. So, I was very excited when I found out that Aveeno has a new product, an oil mist. This body oil comes in a plastic spray bottle. I would have preferred if the product comes in a glass bottle as I feel that oil would last longer in a glass bottle. I thought it would be very convenient and easy to just spray on body parts and massage the oil in. However, after I’m done with applying the oil on my body, I realised that the bathroom floor felt oily. I didn’t realised while spraying the oil onto my body, the residue went on the floor. Not happy at all that I have to clean up the floor. It is also difficult to spray once my hands are oily from massaging the oil onto my skin. As a result, the whole bottle feels oily and slippery. To avoid having oil all over the floor, I spray on my hand and then apply the oil on my body. I have tried the oil on damp, after showering and also on dry skin. They work well for me either way. But I prefer to apply them on dry skin. Either way, the oil sink well on the skin. I do not feel the oil is too heavy for me. It goes on to my skin smoothly and feels pleasant after that. I do not feel that they’re too oily as well. After the first application, my shins and arm felt itchy after a few hours. I have not experienced this when I was using Aveeno’s moisturising cream. I then increased the number of sprays and the itchiness never come back. After using this oil for about a week, I can feel that most part of my skin is smooth and well moisturised. My elbows are also less rough. My shins are still quite dry but they were extremely dry before, so I guess it will take time and I’m not too bothered by that. However, I have not witness ‘more even skin’ as claimed on the bottle. The oil has a slight fragrant. I can’t quite tell what scent it is but it is a scent which I find pleasant and not over-powering. So, I don’t mind the fragrant. But I think most people will not like this due to the possibilities of skin irritation. I do not remember that the Aveeno moisturising creams that I have used in the past has any fragrant. So not sure why this one has. Overall, I do think that this is a decent moisturising oil for those who likes to use oil. However, I am not fond of using oil. I prefer to use cream as I find that they are less messy to deal with.

Its 98% naturally derived and does not contain parabens or other nasties. The 200 ml plastic pump bottle says it contains 1000 pumps . Also states that it is dermatologist recommended which suits my sensitive skin. I love the soft fruity scent. The main ingredients are oat oil and jojoba oil. I found that the oil absorbed well leaving my skin soft and supple. The only fault I found was that the pump dispenser was a bit difficult to depress.

I loved it so much I used it in my hair and my man used it on his beard and it works magic! The spray pump didnt always work for me and I had to push it a few times to get it to work perfectly. I would be happy to pay more for it and would like it to be in a glass bottle with a better quality sprayer. I love Aveeno products as they have always worked well for my skin type and I will continue to purchase the Aveeno daily moisturising oil!

The oil absorbs quickly without leaving you feeling too greasy, and I have noticed that my skin looks and feels softer after even a week of using it. I have always been a fan of Aveeno products for their sensitive and dry skin formulations and this oil has lived up to expectations. However, like some of the other reviewers I found the spray applicator to be a bit messy and ended up spraying the oil into my hands to apply it. I'm not sure if the product is too viscous to come out of the spray nozzle properly but I feel that maybe a pump or something similar could be a better dispensing option for this product instead of the sprayer.

I absolutely love the moisturising oil plus my daughter starts using it so we are both happy bunnies. I thought will be greasy but no its not, it soaks right into your skin and it keeps your skin feeling so smooth and moisturised all day long. My daughter has a very dry skin so its help her to moistures it very well. The smell is not my favourite but you have to compromise somehow. Bottle is perfect size and I thin will be lasting for long ... well if just I will be using it!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Kate D. from Beautiful Body Oil [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the Aveeno Daily Moisturising Oil Mist for a couple of weeks now and I decided to test it out against another oil of a much higher price point. I used the luxe oil on my left and the Aveeno on my right. My right elbow is serious dried out from repeated scraping against the edge of my office desk all day long. I love the 200ml bottle and it’s easy to get just the right amount. The scent is also lovely and subtle. The Aveeno doesn’t sink into my skin as quickly as the other oil so I decided to use it at night instead and it worked brilliantly. My skin is so much more hydrated and soft compared to before using the mist. I also have some small scars on my stomach from a recent surgery. The oil hasn’t made a massive difference yet but I can definitely see a small difference so I’ll keep using it on them. 98% natural is a big draw for me and it’s also paraben free which is great. I’ve also been using this on my husband’s hands as a treatment for severe dryness and his hands are so much better than before the mist. I would absolutely definitely purchase this as I found it far out-performed the luxe oil. A very nice product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Laura M. from Handy occasional spray [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a handy little spray oil and a nice overall product from Aveeno. The oil itself is non greasy and absorbs easily and smoothly into the skin. I feel like it is better for use outside of the house, such as at the beach, just because it can get a bit messy. All sprays can be messy as there is no real practical way to stop some sprayed product getting on places other than where you want it sprayed. This could be a bit problematic using on areas that aren't great having oil sprayed on them, like spraying my legs and it getting on the carpet and couch. I also tried it in the bathroom but the residual oil on the tiled floor had to be cleaned up to avoid slipping. So, I wouldn't use it daily as my after shower oil, but think it would be fantastic in summer at the beach, outside at a BBQ, after getting out of the pool, to add some moisture to my legs and arms.

First up A little goes a long way and the oil absorbs pretty easily with minimum rubbing, leaving a nice glossy glow to the skin. Hubby’s back was so dry and itchy I applied the oil and he loved it worked really well in hydrating dry skin. Smells really good. Love that is says there a 1000 pumps per bottle. So hopefully it lasts a long time. So easy to apply and fuss free I love the pump application so it’s not messy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I must admit that I wouldn't normally be drawn to a product like the Aveeno Daily Moisturising Oil Mist, having been a lotion person all of my life. I was more than pleasantly surprised by the product, especially it's performance and the aroma. I love both the smell and the absorbancy of the oil. It's effective on dry skin and lasts the whole day. I was less impressed with the spray delivery, as it sort of goes everywhere and the squeezing motion needed. I found that you needed to be very close to the skin to avoid getting it everywhere and that led to overdosing in that area. Spraying it onto your hand and then moisturising an area worked better.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Claire B. from Good oil based moisturiser for dry, sensitive skin [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For someone who has dry, sensitive skin the aveeno daily moisturising oil has been great! It is an easy product to apply with the pump, spray nozzle and rubs well into the skin being an oil based product. After a week of using this product, my skin is feeling a lot more moisturised. Although the moisturiser mist stated ‘smoother, more even skin in 1 week’ I don’t feel it did this. It certainly hydrated my skin and left it feeling a lot more moisturised, however, didn’t leave it feeling any smoother. As it is an oil consistency, I preferred to use this product at night time after a shower just as I am about to head to bed as it does leave your skin feeling quite oily. When I would wake up the product had absorbed into my skin, leaving it feeling hydrated. I didn’t love using this product during the day as it wasn’t as fast absorbing as I would have hoped and it would transfer slightly onto my clothing. It didn’t leave my sensitive skin feeling irritated, which is a bonus for any, body product I use! I love that it wasn't a strong scent, nice and subtle which is perfect for me. I would recommend this moisturising mist for anyone that has dry, sensitive skin, wanting a hydrating body moisturiser and doesn’t mind the feel of an oil based product.

It smells like subtle “nature” - not too strong, but not unscented either - love it! When applying it on my face, I can really smell the oat and just feel good. It’s definitely very moisturising (one spray goes a long way!) I like the texture and smell, but the downsize is the nozzle-spray which is hard to press and control. The first time I tried to spray it on my face, I pressed normally, but nothing came out, and when I pressed harder, it ended up missing my face. I’m assuming it’s probably because the plastic spray’s straw is not big/strong enough to pump the oil that quick. This pump makes it difficult to dispose the product onto the skin, especially the face, and it makes me worried that if I press even harder, it will just spit out loads of oil which I don’t need.. I love the quality of the product, but not the packaging. I think I would prefer a pump that can be locked/unlocked by turning the head.

It is a lightweight oil that absorbs into the skin quickly and doesn't feel greasy. My skin feels softer and smoother after using it. I understand why a spray applicator would be convenient but I found it messy and ended up spraying the oil into my hand before applying to my body. The sprayer was stiff and was especially hard to push down with oily hands. I would love to see a pump on this product instead.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Julie A. from Beautifully fragranced nourishing body oil [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used the Aveeno Daily Nourishing Oil Mist daily for a week and absolutely loved the effects of this product. My skin felt nourished, hydrated and dry skin was non-existent. My favourite thing about this product was the fragrance. I felt I was in a pampering spa session. It left my skin delicately scented and I also felt like I was on a summer tropical holiday. The oil mist absorbed into my skin straight away too. It was slightly thicker than what I was expecting out of a body oil. I found the spray nozzle a little hard to use and I think this could be due to the thickness of the oil. I also loved that this product is formulated without the harsh parabens, silicones and synthetic dyes. My usual sensitive skin is grateful for this. Another great product from the Aveeno range!
