Our Bondi Sands 1 Hour Express Face Mist will leave your skin with a sunkissed Australian glow in just one hour. With dual action formula to provide a deep, long lasting tan, this lightweight self tanning mist will leave you hydrated and glowing with every application.

Warnings

WARNING: This product does not contain a sunscreen and does not protect against sunburn. Repeated exposure of unprotected skin while tanning may increase the risk of skin aging, skin cancer and other harmful effects to the skin even if you do not burn. KEEP OUT OF THE SIGHT AND REACH OF CHILDREN. Carry out a patch test 24 hours prior to use. Do not apply to damaged or inflamed skin. If irritation, redness or itchiness occurs, discontinue use. Seek medical attention if irritation persists. If swallowed, get medical attention or contact a Poison Control Centre right away. Close eyes and lips when applying the product; rinse well with plenty of clean water if accidental contact occurs. Avoid inhalation of mist. Store below 86°F (30°C). Store in an upright position.

Ingredients

AQUA (WATER), GLYCERIN, DIHYDROXYACETONE, PROPYLENE GLYCOL, PENTYLENE GLYCOL, POLYSORBATE 20, DIMETHYL ISOSORBIDE, SODIUM METABISULFITE, ERYTHRULOSE, CI 14700 (FD&C RED NO. 4), CI 19140 (FD&C YELLOW NO. 5), TOCOPHERYL ACETATE, CI 42090 (FD&C BLUE NO. 1), SODIUM BENZOATE, POTASSIUM SORBATE, CITRIC ACID.

Directions

Step 1
Ensure face is clean, dry and free from any product.

Step 2
Shake well before use. Spray 4-6 pumps of 1 Hour Express Self Tanning Face Mist onto the Bondi Sands Application Mitt. As the formula has a guide colour, be sure to blend gently into the face and neck in circular motions, immediately after application. Wash hands thoroughly after use.

Step 3
Rinse skin after one hour for a long lasting deep tan. For a deeper tan, leave on skin for two-three hours. Do not apply any other skincare products until colour has developed. Re-apply as desired.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 1hr express on fair skin with freckles I have fair skin with freckles and have used this product twice now. I apply it with the mit and back applicator. I leave it on for three hours to get the darkest color, then I wash it off. Like most self tanners, this has two parts: the bronzer and the actual tanner. The bronzer just facilitates the application: so you can immediately see what you covered and to ensure an even application. It washes off in the shower. The tanner then seems to take the next several hrs to fully darken the skin. It looks best on me during the second and third day. The color is a rich even tan - no orange hue. As a pale person with freckles I've never been able to enjoy a tan until this product. I especially like it because it makes my freckles fade as the rest of my skin darkens. This is much preferred over a natural tan for me (where my freckles will darken much more than the rest of my skin). For some reason it turns the backs of my hands a bit darker than the rest of my body, which I wouldn't mind (looks like my hands just see more sun), but this area also loses its tan a bit unevenly, as it begins to look splotchy and a bit orange 3 days after the application. But I use and wash my hands often so this may be why. I have no issues with my knees, elbow, or face being too dark). My recommendation is to use this product one or two days before an event, but it won't last you for something like a week long vacation. If anyone knows of a way to maintain a lasting dark tan please let me know.

I haven't even broken out in spots as I usually do, I stay put of the sun so this is perfect to get me to that bronzed sun-kissed look. And I leave it on overnight and it gives me the shade I like, but if you want a light shade definitely about 1 hour is great.

This is the quickest, easiest and best way to get a tan in the comfort of your home. The easy application mitt makes applying a breeze. I wish I had know about this from the beginning! This is all I will use from now on.

Coverage is great only need 2 pumps and then wipe over with the glove. Doesn't smell as string as the foam. Doesn't clog the skin and makes face look glowing. I love it. Great product, highly recommended.

So I stupidly misread the instructions and sprayed ON MY FACE, not the mittI opened my eyes and quickly went into panic mode scrubbing with my mitt. I also messaged the CS team and they were so helpful so fast. Thankfully my face turned out perfect. But I also don't know if this was a necessary purchase and may just use the remainder of the foam from tanning my body next timeI'll write another review to confirm the results. And because they have different rinse off times, I should've waited to apply so I could rinse everything off together, but I wasn't that strategic so I had to be real careful when rinsing my face not to disrupt my arms and hands.

It is fairly easy to use but doesn't exactly come out as a mist and can get messy, I would recommend getting a friend to help apply it if you follow the bottle instructions or apply it to a mitt or other applicator then to your face. Otherwise really nice product and worth trying for yourself.

Firstly, let me just say how much I love all of the Bondi Sands self tanning products that I have tried :purple_heart:. I had a hard time with the face mist...being a little apprehensive about spraying something on my eyes, and don't think I did it correctly but After I used a makeup brush to help blend it in it looked pretty good. I wasn't going anywhere that day, so it was fine not having to worry about putting makeup on top of the tanning mist, but I'd imagine it would he a hassle to have to redo my makeup after rinsing off the self tanning face mist an hour or 2 later. But! It gave me a nice touch of color and not too much for a "wintery" glow! Thank you AGAIN Bondi Sands! You're the BEST!
