The blades really gave a smooth effortless shave. Not sure if the extra blades, 5 rather than my usual 3, make a huge difference but on a whole a comfortable clean shave.

But this new Fusion5 powers's advance blades are comparatively very light, sharp and strong. I like the added function of powered vibrations which helped glide the razors effortlessly and gave me fine & smooth shave.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Safety issue When I pulled the protective cover off the blades, the outer blade sliced into one of my fingers, making it bleed profusely. Shaving is quite smooth and does not nick the skin due to the plastic shield at the bottom. Some areas, like under the chin needed a few passes to fully shave the hair stubble.

I think this is just due to having so many small blades stacked together. With that said, if you are a regular groomer and shave daily it was cable of giving quite a close shave. I actually did feel rather 'baby faced' But for me a more simpler single or twin blade option seems to work better for my routine. I also literally have no concept of how the vibration is meant to achieve any difference it just seems like a gimmick
