Doesn't feel or look cheap and nasty. My currently razor only have 4 blades, so was interested to see how much better one extra blade could be. I wasn't let down. The blades glided effortlessly over my legs and underarm. I didn't feel the need to go over the same area again and again with this razor. Hair Gone..First Time! My legs felt smooth and amazing after my shave. My only suggestion to make this even better is to include a blade cover, if I wanted to take this with my on holiday. When you have a product this good, you might want to take it everywhere with you. Super happy and would defiantly recommend purchasing this.

As the name suggests, this razor is extra smooth so it glides onto the skin and gives a quick pain-free shave which makes it easy in the shower and my usually dry snakeskin legs have now been replaced with smooth silky legs thanks to the Gillette Venus platinum extra smooth razor. Easy to use handle is perfect shape and size. Also like the colour of this razor.

Well, I couldn't have been more wrong! This razor is amazing. The metal ergonomic handle is amazing and weighted perfectly. It fits like a glove in your hand and glides effortlessly over skin for the most amazingly smooth shave ever! I couldn't believe it. As a sufferer of chronic pain and osteo-arthritis shaving my legs and underarms is a chore but not anymore. Thank you Gillette for a stress and pain free way to shave and a smooth shave that lasts much longer than my original Venus!!!

The metal handle has a nice weight to it and the rubber grips are in good spots. The cartridge was easy to affix and has a firm hold, although the click was soft to hear. Having all the Venus cartridges fit the handle is great if you like the soap heads better. The shave was nice and smooth, but a new blade always feels good at the start. Being mindful of reducing waste I appreciate the sturdy metal handle and want to use it for many years to come, I just hope the blade heads are made for a long time to come as well.

The razor feels very luxurious with it'a metal part and feels nice and balanced in the hand. The handle is covered in a soft rubber that is very grippy. I can't stress enough the different it makes to shave using a razor that isn't just plastic! The blades allow for a really close shave and the flexible head with conditioning strips meant there were no nicks around the knees. My skin felt so smooth and moisturised after shaving. I'd reccomend this razor hands down!
