Rated 4 out of 5 by from Clump-free & lengthening mascara [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The COVERGIRL Lash Blast Clean Mascara is a solid drugstore mascara. I found it to be quite lengthening. It is volumising, but not in a very intense way. It is a good every day mascara, but probably not volumising or intense enough for a "night out" make-up look. The formula is very smooth, so it does not clump or smudge. It was not particularly wet or dry. It is advertised as "clean" - it definitely did not have a smell like some other cheap mascaras and it is not very clumpy. Overall, it is a mascara I would happily use for an every day and simple make up look.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I felt like the claims of this product being a volumising mascara are false, so for that I have rated this product 4 stars, as even though I myself prefer a lengthening, clump free formula, there was an expectation that this would be a volumising formula, and I'm sure that whomever buys this product with that expectation would be let down by this claim. I will be honest though, I didn't use an eyelash primer or apply a double coat. That may help. In saying that, this product is perfect for daytime wear. Each lash was separated, defined, and lengthened, and there was not a clump in sight. I was very impressed by that. The formula of this mascara felt comfortable on my lashes, and I believe that the lash conditioning oils helped with that. I didn't experience any flaking or smudging throughout the day either. Overall, I enjoyed this mascara and I will continue to use this product.

It didn’t irritate my eyes which I find that some mascaras do. Perhaps this is because it doesn’t contain any sulfates or parabens. It didn’t clump or smudge and was very defining however it didn’t give too much volume and therefore would probably suit everyday wear more than a glam look. I think due to the style of the brush you had to layer on a few times to really get some sort of volume but I still love this for day-to-day.

This mascara was very easy to apply, including multiple coats, and did not irritate my eyes. It felt very light to wear, but gave my lashes a nice tint. It did not hold the curl for long however I have naturally curly lashes so I think it worked well for me. I did notice it smudge towards the end of the day, especially if rubbing my eyes. It was easy to remove but left some residue in the corner of each eye. I would recommend for everyday wear for a casual look.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For a non-waterproof formula, this mascara truly did not smudge (and I’m super oily). Application was great as it did not clump, even tried a second coat and still no clumps in sight. Obviously since it is not a waterproof mascara, the curl did not hold for very long. The ingredients seem to be super beneficial for lash health and growth, and I look forward to seeing its long term effect as my lashes are quite short naturally. Overall, I like the formula and would recommend for those who like a seamless mascara application.

It lengthens my lashes and doesn't clump up, and gives my lashes a nice lift. It has pretty packaging, and is decent for its price. I wouldn't say its the best drugstore mascara, but its definitely far from the worst. Its overall pretty nice.

The wand was easy to hold for application but the bristles are very short. I didn't find it gave me any length whatsoever but gave a small amount of volume. It would be ok for a low/no makeup look but wouldn't recommend for an event or going out. The mascara formula itself was nice, i didn't get any flaking at the end of the day and removal was easy. I wouldn't necessarily recommend this product over others i have in my collection but if you purchased it for a light day-to-day mascara then it'll do the job

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Every day standard [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like that the brush is not in the mascara when you buy it, I like that you can see the brush, but that also means an extra plastic lid as well. Unfortunately the bristles on the brush are much too short for me to use easily. Whilst its creat there are a nice thick bunch of bristles to seperate my lashes, they were just to short for me. The mascara itsself was fine, nice coverage, not clumping on any way, seperated my lashes ok. The wear wasn't as long lasting as I expected and it didn't lift or lengthen my lashes to a noticeable effect that I though wow this is great mascara. I work on a hot kitchen and to ots credit it didn't run nor smudge the whole day, but also did seem to wear off before the days end. Overall jist a standard mascara for me, nothing special or wow factor about it, be a good choice for anyone wanting good speration on application and an everyday wear for non strenuous activity. I wouldn't choose this one again,just because of the shortness of the brush bristles on the wand, and the extra plastic lid which I feel is unnecessary.

Lovely for everyday wear, and gives your lashes a nice subtle tint and lift but nothing too extreme. I quite enjoyed inserting the mascara wand myself and being able to view the wand properly before application. I find by the end of the day it does smudge a fair bit and can sting my eyes (but I have sensitive eyes). Overall, I would recommend this mascara to someone starting out with make up or who is wanting a subtle everyday tint.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Firstly, I liked the way the mascara was packaged as you can see the brush & the mascara tube is sealed up. The mascara itself is quite nice......for me I found it to have a more natural result on my lashes. It didn’t create amazing volume or length but I was able to put on multiple layers without any clumping at all. Once I had a few layers on I did notice my lashes had fanned out & they looked good. It wore well throughout the day with no fallout or smudging at all. I liked the brush.....it was great for separating & defining the lashes. If you are after a mascara that doesn’t clump, you can put multiple layers on & has a more natural look then this is definitely the one to go for!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good day-to-day affordable product [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My initial impression is wow this is a gorgeous colour and the bottle is very sleek, the brush is large and has lots of tiny combs. This is a decent mascara, nice dark lashes, however the brush is very thick and not easy to swivel and manoeuvre so it results in smudging if you are heavy handed. Beautiful packaging and appearance but the product is not anything extraordinary. This mascara acts as really good day to day, affordable product, but likely wouldn't be a suitable choice for any major glamorous looks.

I loved the brush, it applied a good amount of product and I found it easy to apply close to the lash line and in the corners. It went on without any clumps and gave enough length and volume for a day look. For the most part, it didn’t smudge. However, one day I wore it, I got caught in the rain and must of rubbed my one of my eyes and when I got back to my car, I noticed it had smudged. I wouldn’t let that stop me from using this product and would happily buy it again, it’s a great everyday mascara.

Not many brands seem to do this. Having quite long lashes naturally and being a glasses wearer, I tend to stick to voluminous mascaras so my lashes aren’t pressing up against the lenses. The silicone bristle brush defines and separates every lash, ensuring an even and clump free application. It gives a small amount of volume but I’d say this is more of a defining mascara over a voluminous one. There was no smudging as promised which is always a plus!

I felt like it didn't do much but tint my lashes . I mean you can see it but it doesn't do much . It is a good mascara for a conservative job or younger person or someone who isn't into make up but wants dark lashes but probably not volumising enuff for someone who is looking for a wow factor . it does not clump or smudge and doesn't apply thick like most volumising mascaras . I personally didn't like the green colouring I felt back in the 40 s but that's being picky . Over all I would recommend this for someone who wants simple not out their lashes and someone who is possibly with blonde lashes just to darken what they have

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good everyday Mascara [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited to try this mascara as I get watery, irritated eyes and found this didn't irritate my eyes like some other brands of mascaras do. I did find it was better suited to day wear as it was a lighter coverage and didn't clump at all. I liked the wand/brush even though at first it was a bit bigger than what I'm used to and like a mascara that doesn't smudge or flake. The mascara was super easy to remove and would easily come of with water. I usually rinse my face in the shower and then use Micellar water to remove anything left over. Overall I would recommend this product for anyone looking for a nice clean looking day mascara.

Overall this is an average product but I think it does have a place in my daytime routine when you want a less dramatic look. It is a nice formula, which provides some length, but minimal volume for a less intense look. I think it would be too subtle for night wear. Overall it was smudge proof and removed easily, however would not replace my favourite nightwear mascara.

I appreciate that it's vegan and cruelty free and I love the packaging. It was easy to apply, however I didn't find that it gave me extra volume. It was clump free and didn't feel heavy or sticky, but it didn't make my lashes stand out more than any other drug store mascara. It lasted the whole day without smudging, and I loved how easy it was to take off at the end of the day. Good for everyday wear, not really for a dramatic night look as it doesn't give much volume.

The rubber, thick brush applied the formula evenly to all lashes. It separated and defined each lash. I could layer it up without any clumping. It lasted all day with zero smudges. It washed off really easily with just cleanser and water (no post shower panda eyes!). The reason I only gave it 3 stars was because it claims to give 10 times the volume and I didn’t find it to be a very volumising formula, it was more defining. I enjoyed it and will continue to use for a nice defining everyday look. For nighttime I like something more dramatic.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Vegan & Clump Free But Wet Formula & Awkward Brush [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thanks to Beauty Crew & Covergirl for choosing me to trial Lash Blast Clean Volume Mascara. I've used it daily for the last fortnight. It increased the volume of my lashes, but not dramatically - not the 10x claimed. 1 coat is good for daytime, but for a maximum-volume night out, it takes 3-4. My lashes slope downwards & this mascara gave them some lift, without clumping or smudging (after it dried). I usually favour this type of short silicon/plastic bristles, but I found the brush unwieldy to use because it has such a wide barrel. I also kept getting black dots on my upper & lower lids. When I used a different wand (Manicare), it was much easier to use, but I still got the dots on my lids because the formula is wetter than average. It cleaned off easily, but I had to redo my eyeshadow. I learnt to apply this mascara before shadow. I'm not prone to getting eye gunk, but on a few occasions using Lash Blast Clean Volume, I had black goop in the corners of my eyes. WOULD I PURCHASE? No. I dislike the brush & the wetness of the formula makes it messy to apply. WOULD I RECOMMEND? Only if you're vegan & looking for an affordable & cruelty-free everyday mascara. I'm not sure what clean is supposed to mean as it has no agreed definition in the beauty industry. NOTE: I don't have sensitive eyes or skin, nor do I wear glasses or contacts. Made in USA of US & imported parts.

I am giving it two stars as it lasted on my eyelashes throughout the day. This is something I typically struggle with. especially when mascara is not waterproof. I also liked that this was clean and infused with hydrating oils that nourish the lashes, I wish more mascara were like this, given mascara is something most people wear daily. I also enjoyed that it was clump-free. However, in my option, there are better quality drugstore mascaras out there and this is not something I would purchase.

It gives a fuller lash effect without the nasties. Would love more volume tough it does not provide 10X volume. It is easy to apply the brush is nice, the mascara does not clump. It gives more of a natural look than the 10X volume look. Comes off easily with warm water without smudging. Love the packaging can be easily found in the bag ;). I have sensitive eyes and was super excited to use the Vegan verson of the mascara but it sill caused some irritation to my eyes hence the two stars.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst buy. This is the most horrible mascara I have ever used. The packaging looked appealing and hence I thought to give it a go and to be honest, I used this mascara for about two weeks before throwing it out. So this review doesn't come after just using it once. The mascara did absolutely nothing to my lashes. It didn't lengthen, it didn't make them thicker and I could barely see the black colour that was applied. The wand was thickly covered with the product so the bristles were not able to access my lashes properly and every attempt was left with mascara on my eyelids in addition to my lashes. I would not recommend it to anyone.
