Rated 1 out of 5 by from Sadly not for me. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really wanted to like the Garnier Fructis Hair Food Banana Shampoo, thrilled to be chosen to trial it but for me the fun stops there. The product felt nice but I have to say, anything good I have to say about it is far outweighed by the overpowering scent, which to me seems quite synthetic and not at all pleasant. I was expecting a subtle scent but this wasn't the case. After washing my hair (and conditioning with the Garnier Fructis Hair Food Conditioner) it was all I could smell, and found it overpowering. It left my hair feeling nice but I simply cannot get past this. I've used some fabulous Garnier products over the years however I am sad to say this will not be something I will be purchasing or using in the future. The packaging is made from 50% recycled plastic, vegan formula and no silicone. All very commendable! The design which makes it look like a drink does not appeal to me in any way shape or form. The presentation of information is chaotic and if I was to liken it to anything it would be those adverts you get on television for factory outlet sales where the voice over shouts at you. It's too busy and it looks cheap. I personally prefer minimalist designs and something that is aesthetically pleasing. All in all I wish I had more positive things to say about this shampoo but sadly this is not the case.
