General Information

Original Drying Lotion is a fast acting on-the-spot acne treatment that works by penetrating pores and treating acne-causing bacteria, ensuring smooth and blemish-free skin.

Blemishes develop when dead skin cells mix with your natural oil and form plugs like whiteheads or blackheads which clog your pores resulting pimples. Salicylic acid in this formulation helps exfoliate dead skin cells, allowing the all-natural drying agents to sink deeply into the pores to treat and soothe the skin. Apply this on your face, back, chest, neck and other acne-prone areas of your body before bedtime and say hello to a much clearer, pimple-free skin

However this spot treatment worked overnight, eliminated the small bumps and made the larger bumps smaller. Only the under nose sensitive area was dried out, other areas look ok. I'll always make sure to keep a bottle for emergencies.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Goodbye acne! The Bye Bye Blemish Drying Lotion is a great spot treatment for when you have really bad blemishes and you need them to go away ASAP! This is very similar to another drying lotion on the market and I was keen to see how it would work. You just place a q-tip into the bottle and let it soak up the pink product that's at the bottom of the bottle and then apply it to your blemish. I would use this at night and would find that by morning my blemish would reduce in size. It helps to dry out the pimple but also keeps that area calm so it's not irritated. It's a must have for keeping your skin clear and you can see results right away!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fast working I got my Bye Bye Blemish Drying Lotion a month ago and have been trying it out on face pimples and even hubby's back ones. It's fast working and feels cool on the skin. Not quite as comfortable and secure feeling as a patch but still gets the job done.

When using at night I found it rubbed off completely by the morning, which is understandable as it dries down. The best results I got were on an active pimple which I coated a couple of times during the day (eliminating the rub off action) and it worked quite well - I could only do this on days I'm home. Overall it worked though - so I'm happy.

It is for sure on the same level as the higher end versions I have used as holy grails for years and worked just as well. The packaging feels high end too and for the price I really cannot see a fault apart from the stronger smell when you first open the bottle. I would recommend 100% as a cheaper alternative for the savvy girl.

The part where you dip a cotton bud into it is just stupid. Not environmentally friendly at all! While the product itself did help to reduce my pimple. It is not something I would use. too strong, who knows what it’s doing to insides once absorbed in my skin. Another part I did not like is it ruined my necklace (sterling silver 925) which I have worn on around my neck for 7 years and have not had any problems until I used this product. My necklace oxidised and went black. I will not recommend or purchase this product.
