It is very easy to use and it has very good grip. It quickly detangles my hair without any hassle. I have frizzy medium length hair and this brush instantly settled them without any damage. Its bristles are soft and feel smooth on my scalp. I really like the design of this brush, it has vents which make cleaning and washing much easier. After each use, I remove hair and gunk easily from the bristles. Overall, it is a very well designed, lightweight and strong hair brush. I recommend it to everyone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Convenient and travel friendly [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I haven't tried any lady jayne products before but after trying the rechargeable hair straightener and the paddle hair brush, I will definitely be trying more. Firstly, the hair straightener is super sleek and you can tell it's made out of very durable materials. The hair straightener is exactly like my daily MUK style sick but a quarter of the price! When plugged into the power outlet, their is no difference at all. It straightens my hair very easy and gives it a beautiful shine. My hair is naturally wavy and It took only 10 minutes to straighten my whole head. I do have bleached hair so I was cautious of heat settings but there's a few heat temperature settings which was a bonus and it made safe to use on my hair without damaging it too much. I then tried using it cordless and had the same great results. It took a bit of time to heat up which was understandable as it didn't have a high power source but it made me realise what a great invention this is. I will be taking it on my travels and I can even store it in the card for touch ups. It's slightly smaller than my normal hair straightener which makes it great for packing and saving space. The paddle brush was also a hit for me. It has a combination of hard and soft bristles so it didn't pull any of my hair out and I was shocked when it added a shine through my hair. It's also made out of very durable materials and the curve in the paddle brush contours your head to ensure your hair is completely brushed through. Absolutely love both products.

I used the paddle brush each night for a couple of minutes and found that it prevented my hair from becoming oily. As somebody who has hair which becomes oily fast, using the paddle brush, I discovered the oil from my roots went through to my ends. This lengthened the time between washes for my hair…a huge win! I will certainly continue to use this brush and recommend it to anyone looking to try a different paddle brush.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy to hold as the mould is designed to mould to the form of your hand making styling comfortable, the Lady Jayne Salon Pro Paddle Brush really just glided through my long, thick and frizzy hair so easily that it appeared smoother and softer after doing that alone. Made from a mix of boar hair and nylon bristles it promotes smooth, shiny and strong hair. I have never experienced that from a hairbrush and I have many professional and non professional one. I would say the experience I have had with this brush would make it better than any other brush I’ve ever tried, my daughter who’s only 6 who has fine but curly/slighty boofy hair usually needs to have detangling spray and only lets me brush her hair happily ran it through herself without hair products. I am going to make sure I buy a few of these as it’s been a hit in our household and I don’t want to be without with. I recommend this for everyone, run don’t walk!

It can be used to style or assist in brushing out knots. I have fine hair and it often knots easily and I’m finally found a brush which can detangle as well. With this brush you can hear it working on the knots but it doesn't pull... no more tears no more saying no to hair brushing. This brush is a lifesaver! I will be recommending this to family and friends. Both for adults and kids! The is brush can be taken in a handbag or gym bag.

It has holes/gaps for hot air to go through if blowdrying and a mix of fine and standard bristles to help you achieve a sleek look whilst styling. If you're a bit clumsy and tend to drop brushes, this one wont shatter like some of the more brittle brushes. I found it easy to use on wet and dry hair, and the finer bristles helped when using a straightener. Would definitely recommend as a lightweight, effective and versatile styling brush.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Soft and gentle [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was keen to try this paddle brush as I have essentially given up all hope of finding one that doesn't rip out my hair, get funky real quick or creates a massive floofy hairdo. I have type 2c hair and prone to knots and frizziness, brushing for me is a nightmare because I am damned if I do and damned if I don't. I first used this brush in an almost experimental manner, on a newly formulated matted patch of hair at the back of my head. Usually at this point I will just wash and condition my hair, slowly brushing it out in the shower but I thought, why not put this to the test (even if it ends up getting stuck). Well to my surprise, it was so so gentle - I couldn't feel the normal pull and tearing sensation or see a flurry of hair cascading onto my bathroom floor. When running over my scalp it felt soft and not scratchy at all, it definitely didn't feel like the traditional hard plastic ends of paddle brushes of old. My hair still had some floof to it but it was a soft floof and not the usual poofy, furball-esque result I'm used to seeing. One thing I was very surprised about though was it's ability to de-frizz my hair. I could even run it over my hair while it was in an up-do without it messing it up and loosening it from my hair tie. This hair brush is also so incredibly light, it would be perfect packing in carry on luggage (although I'd be hesitant to damage the bristles) and the handle was slender which felt comfortable in my hand. When I use hair brushes with a handle I normally end up in a death grip but whenever I use this brush I don't experience that. While this brush may not become a daily feature in my life I will be using a paddle brush again and for once, enjoying it.

I love detangling brushes as my primary brushes, but the little boar bristles add this feeling that no hair has been missed while brushing. You can feel them gently making contact on the surface while brush all the way down to your scalp with the longer bristles. It's unique compared to anything I've ever used but I love the smooth shine it provides. It says you can use it on curled hair to create more volume, which I did try and it is accurate if you also like a less defined curl look. For me, I prefer leaving my curls unbrushed.

It has the longer plastic brushes, that work out all the knots, while the smaller bristles smooth out the hair to make styling super easy. It is lightweight, whilst still feeling like it is good quality. The head is slightly larger than my usual trusty lady jane brush, which is great for brushing, but does make it a touch harder to style with. I think it is ideal for those with fine to medium hair, that is straight or wavey. Really good brush!

This brush is a miracle brush. It really does help get all those knots and tangles out with minimal fuss. It feel so gentle and glides effortlessly through your hair. I like that the brush is actually contoured to the curve of your scalp and easily adjusts to your head. The combination of the harder nylon bristles to detangle and massage your scalp with the soft boar bristles to help disperse your natural oils is really therapeutic. My new favourite hairbrush.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Aesthetics: the packaging is sleek with black and rose gold accents, a theme that is continued in the paddle brush and looks luxe. It feels high end to hold. Functionality of the hairbrush: SIMPLY DIVINE. With one use it became my new holy grail brush and I plan on buying a back up. I have not used another brush since. The base of the brush is a coil design which gives it flex to detangle without snagging on knots and breaking the hair. The combination of gentle nylon pin bristles detangle the hair, while the boar bristles smooth and shine the top layer. It detangled my daughter’s curly (sleep-matted) hair in seconds with no tugging - usually she requires hair oil and detangling spray and there is still an ouch or two no matter how careful I am. In my daughter’s words “you better give this brush a good review mum!”

This brush has a lovely rubber handle which is ergonomic and easy to grip, and a cool coil design for where the bristles are. The combination of boar and nylon bristles make for such a comfortable brush that does not snag on tangles! It gives the scalp a nice massage, as well as making my hair smooth and shiny by distributing the oils from the roots to the ends. If you have medium to long hair, this is a perfect, no frills hair brush!

I was doubtful it would get through my thick wavy hair but it successfully brushed through messy wet tangles hair with easy. Fantastic brush for every hair type even difficult to manage hair. I normally use a standard paddle brush for my thick hair and this brush has multiple layers in bristles which comes in handy when trying to straighten short hairs or get close to the roots. The brush is light weight and sleek in design and easy to clean. I’m totally convinced this is a good brush and I have tried a similar nock off that did not brush through my hair or even come close to detangle knots in my hair. My new favourite brush. An item I will definitely buy for my best friend too.

It's a matte black colour with the bristles tipped with gold. It's the type of hair brush I would get whenever I need a new hair brush so this was fantastic for me. The bristles are the perfect type and they properly brushed my hair (while also gently massaging my scalp which was a bonus) covering all of my hair from tip to bottom - I have long, thick hair so this is no easy task! I'd definitely recommend this Brush especially to those with thick hair!

Being open, the head of the brush has some movement to it making it comfortable to use and is also a great size. It also minimises the surface area for dirt build-up. I love the duel bristles. Having one long surrounded by small clusters left my hair feeling smooth and didn't take long to detangle my hair. It does collect hair very easily due to the nature of the bristles, so does need to be cleaned regularly. The size of the brush made detangling my hair very quick and easy. starting from the bottom and working my way up, it did not take long to be brushing large sections top to bottom.

The brush was also light and had a nice grooved grip on the handle which increased control and ease of use. Helped to effortlessly detangle my thick straight hair without tugging and minimal hair loss. The rounded tips of the bristles gave my scalp a nice soothing massage feel and did not irritate it. It removed all the tangles and left my hair looking sleek and shiny. The de-tangling brush works beautifully on both wet and dry hair. The brush is sturdy enough for thick hair but gentle enough to handle fine hair as well. Really love this brush and is an upgrade from the existing Lady Jane brush that I currently use.

I tried it on both wet and dry hair and it seemed to work fine for both. It left my hair feeling soft and smooth. The brush itself is lightweight and easy to use. I have thin hair and it seemed to work quite well. I had my mother try it who has very thick and curly hair and it also worked well at detangling the knots which is always a struggle. The handle is comfortable to hold and glides easily whilst brushing. The brush itself seems sturdy and of good quality so I am assuming it will last me a while!

I also love using it on my sons long thick hair, no tears and we are quickly done. I find th brush very easy to clean and remove the hairs, it looks sleek and expensive. Overall I'm very happy and will continue to reach for this as my new daily hair brush. I quite like the mix of bristles and find this helps give a beautiful shine to my hair. The price is extremely good for the quality of the brush, whilst light, it's made to last and it's quite sturdy.

My hair is thick and long, and when I brush my hair with any other normal brush, my hair ends up like a gaint frizz ball. After using the paddle brush, it makes my hair sleek and frizz free! It's light weight makes it easy to hold and use. I paired using the paddle brush up with the 2 in 1 hair styler and used it before styling my hair,which did wonders. It made it so much easier when it came to parting out my hair into sections to straighten. I absolutely love the design of this brush.

I was lucky enough to trial this brush as part of the trial team and was so thankful I was picked. You know that amazing feeling when you go to the hair dresser and get your hair washed and get that amazing massage? Thats what it feels like to brush your hair with this brush! I was so impressed I took it over to my friends house and passed the brush around and got everyone to try it!! It's amazing, even with knots, they just brush straight out!! I used on dry damp hair and Blow dry as normal but using the paddle brush to create the volumized look I desired. The paddle moulds around the scalp effortlessly and create a smooth volumeized texture I absolutely love. There is holes in the paddle that make it extremely easy for air to get through. This makes blow drying so easy and creates for an even distribution of heat . If you’ve never used this type of. Paddle brush before I strongly suggest you get one immediately.
