Many years have passed, and I find this lighter formula to be much better suited to my skin. Will definitely buy again.

It contains SPF 30 which is fantastic to protect the skin and it provides just the right amount of coverage for day time wear. I find that a little bit goes a long way and I like to apply this with a brush. I like to set this with some translucent power to mattify the foundation as I am currently liking a matte finish. During the day it keeps my skin hydrated and doesn't make my face go all oily either. The foundation is definitely buildable so you can wear this for a night out too. I find that this foundation just gives me good looking natural healthy skin.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Erika from This one’s a keeper! This foundation has everything I want in a foundation, its lightweight and provides great coverage yet still lets the skin shine through. It’s doesn’t have much of a scent which is good if you don’t like strongly scented foundations. The particular shade I chose is nice and yellow based too which I like for the excess redness in my face however it doesn’t cover the redness completely. It’s a matte finish and lasted all day without breaking up and the soft plastic bottle means I can throw it in my makeup bag and then inside my handbag for the day without fear of it breaking so it’s a good one for travelling.

I was already a fan of revlon as I've used another of their foundations for a while now but was excited to try this one for a nice light coverage that I could wear daily for work. The packaging is very neat and it dispenses the foundation perfectly. The texture of the foundation is so smooth and light and applies very nicely. It gave a beautiful light coverage which looked very natural and evened out my complexion. Beautiful product.

It is easy to apply and leaves my skin looking dewy but not oily for hours. I also have had no breakouts after 2 weeks of use. It’s perfect for a no-makeup makeup look. I also really like that the nozzle is small so that I can get exactly the amount of product that I need. I’m definitely planning on getting another bottle when this one is done.

When I first poured the liquid out, it was quite watery which meant that the foundation was able to spread a lot further. I imagine that this bottle is going to last forever! Because it really is so light, I found it super easy to build on, without the foundation looking cakey. I didn't find that there was any smell from mine and my shade of ivory, which I didn't think was going to suit me initially, ended up blending onto my skin wonderfully! I love that it's a pour bottle, so as soon as you turn the bottle to the side the foundation instantly starts coming out making it really easy to apply. I think it's great value for money, and one I will definitely be buying again when I run out!

The foundation initially smelt like sunscreen, which passed after about 15 minutes after application. I used the product with my normal moisturiser as primer. I used 3 different application methods to try this foundation, Brush: the consistency is not well suited for the brush i use, the product soaked in to the bristles in some places giving minimal transfer that was patchy. Damp beauty Blender: definitely not recommended for this product, the consistency is too watery for the product. Finger application: i found was best suited, covered very lightly. I found my blemishes still were very visable. It is buildable and after 3 layers over blemishes it covered them. After 10 minutes the foundation was still sort of tacky (like primer) 1 hour in i noticed the foundation cracking around my nose and centre of my forehead. The foundation does transfer after application. Even with a powder and setting spray. 10 hours in and the foundation still looks good on my cheeks, but you can see around my nose where it is patchy and looks like im wearing foundation. I do like it for short time usage, i have combination skin and normally use a daily bb cream. I will continue to try the foundation to see if there are ways to fix the patchyness and cracking. I would recommend this to those with dry skin and minimal redness.

I find it covers all my blemishes without the need for a concealer and I have always struggled to find a product that offers full coverage that doesn’t need a powder over the top aswell. I am really enjoying this foundation over my regular foundation I will purchase this product when I need to grab some more make up.

So simple for people in a hurry to use. I apply with my hands whack on some eyebrows and mascara and BAM!!! Looks soooo good. I have also applied with a brush and beauty blender and done a double coat to see how it went. It's slightly buildable and looks great. I found it didn't set into my fine lines or separate after an 8 hour day. It makes me look so healthy and awake even when I have had bugger all sleep. I highly recommend this foundation for busy people who want to look more alive.

So light and easy to apply ,doesn't leave your skin oily. My skin is sensitive but this was great . I wear my usual sunscreen and then put this foundation on top which has a great texture to it. No strong smell which I prefer. Bonus that the bottle is light and is plastic which I liked cause it means no breakages an compact to fit into any bag. I'd recommend this product to my family and friends .

First impression: Lightweight, hydrating formula that absorbs into my skin (without feeling cakey or dry) and evens my skin tone. I found it is possible to build to a medium coverage. The formula has a sheer, dewy finish and feels hydrating - I have extremely dry skin and it doesn’t peel/pill on the surface of my jawline or exentuate my pores. I also find it gives fair coverage of my dark circles (I use foundation moreso than concealer typically but always set with a dusting of powder). Colour - Colour is accurate and no hint of an orange tone (I’m very fair and some ivory shades are shockingly tangerine which is horrifying as throw a pink base). In terms of packaging design: Bottle is plastic which I like (Less weight to lug around and break-proof) I appreciate the nozzle (not a pump but a simple hole opening). I find pumps frustrating as I don’t always need a full pump of product so it’s wasteful. Will definitely repurchase!

I personally prefer light coverage foundations, with my favourite being estee lauders double nude water fresh make up. This is an almost dupe for this one. It is light, watery, builds well, especially with a make up sponge and gives a light coverage, 'my skin but better look' - great for those who want a little coverage but a very natural look. The bottle is plastic which feels a little cheap, but is great for travel or needing a foundation on the go. A good product for the price.

As a mum to a toddler and as a sports coach, I need a foundation which stays on through the day even when I sweat but doesn't look or feel heavy or rub off on clothes etc. This Revlon Lighy Cover Foundation is perfect for that. It comes in a great bottle which is light and easy to use. With a thin opening which requires you to squeeze the product out, it is also more hygienic. The texture is quite thin for a foundation so I found using fingers or a stipple brush best for application instead of a foundation brush. The coverage is very good while still looking 'light'. It evened out my acne scars and dark spots.I don't feel the foundation on my skin throughout the day. It is as if I am not wearing any at all. It stays on throughout the day too. I highly recommend this foundation for anyone needing light makeup for everyday use.

I love the container, it is compact and small enough to take in your handbag if you like. Its easy to disburse into your hand. You only need quite a small bit and it goes a long way. There are no clumps and it goes on perfectly smooth. It provided great coverage, light but really enough to cover blemishes. I like the fact it has sunscreen so I am protected from the sun during the day. It is definitely a product I will be buying more of when I run out. Covered all blemishes, yet felt beautiful and light to wear and actually lasted a whole day without having to reapply.

I liked that is was rounded, this made the container feel and look softer. I found it to be runny in texture, but when I applied it on my skin it dried quickly. However, when I first put it on, I thought it might have been thin because of its consistency and I put on too much, it turned out a bit cakey. So, I would recommend put a little on and layer it. I was pleased to find that the foundation felt very light on my skin, I am not a regular user of foundation so when I do use it for occasions, I like the feeling of not wearing any make-up. The coverage didn’t fade through the day, it genuinely lasted about 6 hours. I would say that this foundation provides medium to full coverage, if you have no blemishes it provides a smooth matte finish. Best part was that it contained SPF 30 which made me feel protected during the day. Overall: It is lightweight, good coverage if you have blemish free skin and long lasting. I will be buying this product again

It was very easy to store in my makeup bag. It was well labelled. I could really see Revlon Colorstay light cover foundation really well on the bottle. I liked how the bottom of the bottle was the colour of the foundation. The lid was a nice white colour. I found it really easy to take the lid off the foundation. It was so easy to squirt the foundation onto my face. It was really gentle to use. It felt so soft on my skin. The colour of the foundation on my skin blended in really well. It felt light and luscious on my skin. It did feel really light. The consistency was nice and thin. I felt great wearing it. I just used my hands to rub it into my skin. A great product!

It’s a little lighter in coverage but like all colorstay products it stands up well to the wears of the day. The colour matching is great just like all Revlon products. My skin is dry but I just use a dry skin moisturiser underneath this foundation and it blends well. You have time to blend it before it sets to a nice satin finish.

I have oily skin, and often a light foundation will break down on my skin in a few hours. I prep my skin with the Revlon Prime Plus Perfecting and Smoothing Primer and Revlon Colorstay translucent powder. It’s a winning combo with the light colour foundation. Absolutely recommend, and will be buying another when this one is done.

I've been wearing this foundation now for about three weeks. I've been using the shade Ivory which I find is a little too pink although I can get away with it. My normal routine before applying a foundation is to apply serum, moisturiser and a primer but I've had to do a few adjustments to get this foundation to apply correctly. The foundation is a liquid so when I first applied it I didn't expect it to be so drying on my skin. The foundation looked cakey with white dots - not a good look. I now get a much better application by adding some moisturiser to the foundation which takes away the dryness. I then end with a finishing spray. I like that the foundation is lightweight, buildable if needed, feels very comfortable, and I can apply it with my fingers.

It is easy to spread with your hands and with a brush. I’ve chosen a colour that was a little lighter than my skin and even then it looked super good. It is a foundation that I can use day by day with a fair coverage that lasts all day in my skin, a good colour that is also a sunscreen and that leaves me with beautiful and natural skin. I am always a super fan of Revlon products and this one does not disappoint. Definitely, I recommend this product!

This Revlon Light Cover foundation applied easily and smoothly, blending perfectly. Upon first application it had a dewy finish and slightly heavier feeling than my usual matte foundations, however applying a soft matte powder on top helped give the finish I wanted, and also made the make-up feel less heavy once it was properly dried. The foundation last all day and gave excellent sun protection during my lunch time walks, as well as when sitting directly in the sun for nearly an hour! I found the easiest application was with my fingers, as it blended very quickly. I would definitely recommend this product to people looking for good SPF protection in an underlayer foundation.

I quite like a light coverage and this was exactly what I look for in something lighter. If you prefer a more natural look then this is probably the foundation for you. It is perfect for everyday wear like at work, or a casual dinner date. If you want to go for a more glam look I would maybe look at something else as I wouldn’t say this foundation is buildable. As far as putting other products over the top, they did go on quite easily but it needed a little bit of time to ‘set’. I am sometimes acne prone but didn’t see any breakouts using this product. I wouldn’t say the product is SUPER long lasting, but enough for a whole day at the office while still looking fresh at the end of the day. My only gripe with this foundation would be the consistency. It was quite runny which can make it harder to apply than something just a little bit thicker. Other than that it is a great product and I do see myself purchasing this again in the future.

First off, I was super impressed with the colour match, the general consistency and SPF factor (which is important to me with foundations!) I will say, you really need to make sure you blend this one correct, it can look a little cakey/mismatched if not done so correctly but otherwise it provides really great coverage and an easy one to wear on the daily. I am usually pretty loyal to my usual foundation, but it's good to test foundations that are a budget price point and readily available at your chemist. I would say if you're on the hunt, definitely try this - but ensure your skin is well-primed before hand. Overall, pretty happy!
