It has a great basics line that I have enjoyed, but for some reason, I had never tried the haircaire line, despite wanting to be SLS/SLES free, espeically for my scalp. The price range for Sukin is fantastic as well. To be honest, I've never tried a scalp scrub before - don't know why I haven't done so before! I felt it didn't strip my hair, left it felt moisturised, while really clearing out the gunk that accumulates. I'm not sure how it would go for longer/thicker hair - as someone with short hair, it was relaitvely easy, but I imagine it'd be a bit more painful with longer hair.

I love the peppermint scent of this scrub and it really made my hair feel refreshed and clean. I suffer from an oily scalp with dandruff and with regular use I feel this is really starting to clear up some of my issues. Now because of the nature of this product it isn’t the easiest product to use as it is somewhat difficult to spread and wash out. But this is to be expected and any physical scrub like this will cause the same issues. I focused on my hairline all the way around my head and my part as these are the area that need a good scrub and can be seen! I really like this scrub and will continue to use before shampooing once or twice a week (if you have super thick hair this may not be great for you).

It's basically an exfoliant for your scalp. I have never used a product like this that is specifically formulated to help cleanse, exfoliate and remove product build up. It smells refreshing and I have noticed significant improvement in my scalp and dandruff issue. The product naturally created, with no synthetic fragrances. It has not affected my colour treated hair in any way but has helped with my scalp. I will now use this as part of my hair care routine.

Once I managed to massage it into my scalp, I found that it produced a good consistency that cleared my very problematic; dry and flaky scalp. I would have given five stars if the product was in an easy to apply container or nozzle as I was happy with the overall result.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Lily P. from First time using a scalp scrub [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have really thick hair that gets greasy very quickly, so I live for dry shampoo and other hydrating products, so I was really excited to use this scalp scrub - plus who doesn't love a head massage (it's the best part of a boujie trip to the hairdressers!). I initially wasn't really sure how to use this one effectively, and even with segmenting my hair felt like it wasn't really getting right to the roots and really exfoliating everything clean. I've tried it again a few times, experimenting with different amounts of the scrub (definitely need more than you think), but it comes with heaps of product which I was pleasantly surprised with. Such value! My hair did smell fresh and clean, but I don't think I really got the value of the scrub and the exfoliated scalp that I assumed I would, which was disappointing, but if you have quite thin hair then I can see it being much more beneficial.

I was excited to see what this would do for my psoriasis prone scalp. I have long hair so I was concerned with how I would section of off and i was also worried about having grains left over. But i didn't have issues with either. My hair doesn't like heavy products so im careful with what I use. I dont feel it left my scalp any cleaner though, I enjoyed the smell. I probably wouldn't go and purchase it again though. I was hoping it would help with my hair woes.

I was pleasantly surprised with this product! My post-partum hair is unpredictable at best, so it was really nice to have a good exfoliation and feel that my head was super soft. It was slightly time consuming however, I don't think it's realistic to be adding this into the regular hair routine, perhaps every couple of weeks. Irrespective of this, it is a beautiful natural product, which smells amazing and had positive results.

I have fine hair, but a lot of it, and did find this difficult to spread around my scalp and especially to wash out. I will admit that it could be nice to use more rarely if you want to give yourself a whole spa experience at home, in the bath or shower. I wouldn't use this often though as it feels like it may do more harm than good with regular use for my scalp and hair, potentially a bit too rough. I will be getting my partner to try it out though, as he has extremely short hair and might enjoy the experience a bit more than I did. Ultimately, I don't think this is a product that anyone really needs in their stash.

The application was quite time consuming, especially for longer hair as you had to section and apply it evenly. I did find it difficult to work through my hair, however it did wash out easily after i had shampooed. I loved the refreshing peppermint smell and it did leave my hair feeling clean and refreshed. I would look at using it every few weeks as a refresh, and as a special treat as I don't use too many other products that cause build up.

I really loved the scent and feel of this scrub. I have very thick hair however and found it somewhat difficult to wash out even after two shampoos and still had small flakes of the scrub falling out of my hair during the day. I'm not sure that it made a huge amount of difference to the amount of residue build up on my scalp but it did make me feel more fresh during and immediately after my shower.

The scent of this scalp scrub is really nice, which is an important factor for me when choosing my hair products I like the fact its a more natural alternative then other products which is not something I've really put too much thought into previously. The sukin scalp scrub is the first scalp scrub I've used. As a girl that suffers from dandruff the idea of the product is great to me, but I feel like it's quite a time consuming product to use. With that being said as long as you have extra time to spend in th shower on hair wash days the product is great. The product is a good size with attractive packaging.

I definitely like the idea of a scrub to get rid of build up however found that once my hair was wet it was difficult to work it into the scalp and the product somewhat deteriorated, resulting in the scrub being less effective. It did work well on the front of my scalp where I do get dry skin and flakiness, it was just more difficult trying to work it into my crown and other parts of my scalp. My husband uses it as he shaves his head every fortnight and gets ingrown hairs as a result. He finds the scrub very effective and has pretty much taken the tube from me! He recommended it for men who do get ingrown hairs or bumps from shaving their head!

I thought I would’ve been able to just squeeze a small amount into my hair and just massage it through. It wasn’t as simple as this. You actually have to part your hair and apply it to sections. It definitely was more time consuming than I had hoped however the product did have great results. The scrub had a really nice minty smell which was really refreshing and it left your hair smelling of this afterward which was really nice. The scrub was a nice consistency which was easy to massage through my hair. It was definitely a relaxing experience if you have the time. I sometimes have an itchy scalp and I noticed that this product helped with this. My scalp felt renewed and purified. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking to freshen up their hair, and remove any build-up of impurities from their scalp.

However, I did find it a little hard to use as I have long thick hair. I love the cooling feeling this gives! Your scalp feels clean and refreshed. I think this would be a great product to use in Summer! I enjoyed the scent of this product - it wasn't overpowering and didn't linger. It is nice knowing I am not using harsh ingredients on my scalp. I found that I ended up using quite a bit of this product each time (but this could just be because my hair is thick).

When you first open the bottle you are greeted with the most amazing scent which is definitely nice. This product being natural and cruelty free is definitely an added bonus. A scalp scrub is a weird concept to me as i never really understood the benefit. I can confirm my hair felt a lot cleaner though. The only issue i have is it was quite hard to get the granules out of my hair after using the scrub, It a great concept but left me feeling like id just spent the day at the beach in the sand. I probably wouldn't repurchase as a scalp scrub isn't really something i feel i need in my routine. However if you do love the idea of a scalp scrub this one is great

I have tried many over the years and have never noticed a difference in my scalp. I honestly just find scalp scrubs really annoying, especially because I have quite long hair. Maybe it would work on someone with shorter hair? When I use it my hair gets so incredibly tangled and knotty. I also felt like I was using abouy a quarter of the bottle every time I used it because a small amount would just disappear into nothing. The smell however is fantastic.

I have fine hair, but it is long and I struggled to part my hair to get the scrub to my scalp. It ended up leaving my hair so tangled and matted and I needed to double wash to remove it from my hair after. I didn't see any huge results, I'm not sure that it has made any difference in terms of product build up. I had been wanting to try a scalp scrub, so I was excited to try the Sukin, however I feel more than an issue with this specific product, that a scalp scrub may not be the product for me given the length and tangly-ness of my hair when wet.

I have never tried a scalp scrum before and was pretty sceptical going in. It was much more gentle than I imagined and did not leave my scalp irritated or dry. I enjoyed the deep clean feeling and the effect on my scalp but this is not something I could use every time I wash my hair (or as often as recommended). I have very long hair and actually working it into the scalp was difficult due to the weight of my heavy wet hair. Washing it out was also more difficult with long hair. I enjoyed using it when only when I have the time to do it properly.

Rated 3 out of 5 by S Z. from effective, but hard to rinse out [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This scalp scrub features Bamboo Powder as the main exfoliator, with Nettle and Peppermint for a refreshing and soothing element. The scrub was really easy to use and i appreciate that it comes in a tube that you can squeeze, unlike some other scalp scrubs which come in a pot and are messy and less hygienic to use. The exfoliating particles are not too big so i had high hopes that it would be effective on the scalp and easy to rinse out. I found that the formula did help give my scalp a nice clean and wash away any dry flakes. It also helped soothe my dry scalp and i saw a reduction in the flakes during the week. Unfortunately, I found it a little hard to rinse out. I have long hair and it just wouldn't rinse off the strands of the hair - i then had to try using a shampoo, lathering it up and then rinsing it out to get the scrub out of my hair. It helped but not 100%. I think this might not be as big as a problem for those with shorter hair.

I do like how this product is naturally fragranced bu it is quite time consuming to use especially with longer hair and having to dampen hair beforehand. It felt nice when massaging the product into my scalp as it felt like I was scrubbing away debris in my scalp. The bottle isn't practical to use while scrubbing and I would’ve liked the product in a tub or pump for ease of use. In saying that, product did provide a nice result and removed some build up.

Wasn’t anything amazing (especially since I have really long hair so it got a little annoying to use) but I guess it might be worth using once in a while to spoil your hair with all natural additives and a scalp massage at the same time..?

Scalp scrubs can be challenging to use and get throughout the hair but this one I felt the product thinned out quite a bit when applied making it less exfoliating. I could still feel the build up in my hair after using the product. I really liked the fact that the scrub comes out of a squeezey tube and not a jar with a lid as it was super easy to get the product out and use. The scent is also a plus for this product as the key natural ingredients are very present but not overbearing. While I liked the scent, ingredients and packaging, I wouldn't buy this product again due to the reside remaining after use.

The smell is a strong minty scent and the consistency is of a gritty salt scrub- I personally am not a fan of mint so found the scent a little overwhelming, almost like strong toothpaste smell). Applying to product is actually quite tedious too, as I thought you would simply be able to massage it onto the base of hair and scalp, but the process of parting and sectioning the hair to apply it in bits took quite some time. I felt the scrub seemed to really dry out the roots of my hair a little but overall it certainly made my scalp feel somewhat cleaner. If you’re a fan of mint and have time on your hands, this product might be the one for you.

I loved the energising mint that is in the product, I really felt it stimulated blood flow Reducing tension, but did find the product extremely hard to use with my very long hair making it not too effective as a scrub but did find it did well to remove product build up effectively. Rinsing the product out was quite tedious as the exfoliate became trapped in the hair but for the most part removed it self after the rest of my hair routine was completed. For the price I couldn’t repurchase myself but I think this would be more effective for those with much shorter hair.

I had high hopes that this would work well into my hair and be a great massage to help rid my scalp of product build up. Unfortunately, this wasn't the case. It was hard to spread through my hair, my boyfriend tried it and it worked a little better on his hair but overall it was then hard to wash it all out. One perk it has going for it, it does smell fantastic but I would not purchase this again.

With long, thick, wavy hair this has hardly made it's way to my scalp. I usually use a silicone brush to give my scalp good scrub and I've never seen a need for a product like this. The texture was slightly offputting as it felt like I've had buc=nch of sand in my hair, not the best feeling in the world. The best thing about this product is the fresh, minty scent. I ended up using it few timed around my hairline but didn't notice any benefits. This is something that is non-essential in my hair care and I would not choose to purchase this product. I can't see how this would benefit anyone in any more effective way than a simple silicone scalp brush would.
