General Information

This derma roller is designed with 540 ultrafine 0.3mm painless needles, which is made of sterilised surgical grade Stainless Steel. It is perfect to use at home to help boost collagen to achieve firm, plump and radiant skin.

Microneedling is a skin treatment, not ingredient-based, which uses your body’s most natural response and reactions to repair and promote healthy skin.

Microneedling creates micro-channels on the skin, which in turn triggers collagen production to compensate the skin as it rejuvenates. In addition, it also helps improves the absorption and efficiency of your skincare.

Regular usage reduces the appearance of skin imperfections, including scarring, enlarged pores and stretched marks. Simply incorporate as part of your night-time routine to help enhance the performance of actives in your favourite skincare products.

Warnings

• Do not use on children.
• Do not use if the sterile seal has been broken.
• Do not use on any skin that is inflamed or broken, e.g. acne breakouts or rosacea.
• If you are susceptible from eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis, warts or cystic skin, please consult your medical professional prior to use.
• If you are prone to sensitivity, a patch test is recommended to determine if this product is right for you. Discontinue use if skin sensitivity occurs after treatment.
• Microneedling may result in skin redness and increased sun sensitivity. Use sunscreen daily.

Directions

1. Thoroughly cleanse your skin before bedtime.
2. Gently place Manicare® Microneedle Derma Roller on your face in one section. Start with rolling horizontally, vertically and diagonally twice in each direction. With more experience, build up to 5 times.
3. Move across to the next untreated section, and repeat.
4. Suitable to roll over face, neck and décolletage, but avoid the eye area.
5. DO NOT APPLY any pressure, simply let the weight of the roller be the guide.
6. Follow the diagram (on the pack) as a guide to section the face.

Optional: After using the roller, apply your preferred serum, moisturiser, skincare actives or sheet masks with clean hands for better results. Maximum use 3 times per week.

Microneedling may result in skin redness and increased sun sensitivity. Use sunscreen daily.

USAGE ADVICE

• Best to sterilise with alcohol sprays like Manicare® Brush Cleaner & Tool Steriliser and allow to dry after each use.
• Store in the protective case provided.
• Personal use only, the roller must not be shared.
• For optimal performance, it is recommended to replace your Manicare Microneedle DermaRoller every 3months.

I have used cheaper ones but this is a better product. the main thing with using this is to get the tension correct while rolling. You can build up to a more aggressive rollt it will take several days for the slight redness to disappear. I also like to use it on the back of my hands. It does make skin better with regular use.

I didn’t know what to expect and I was a little scared as I hate needles, but I actually love it! The roller is quite light and easy to hold, the box comes with easy to read instructions and a face guide image which is great for someone like me who has not used a product like this before. I use this at night after my shower, ensure my face is clean and then use the roller as per the face guide in each direction and then apply my serum. I’ve found since using the roller that my face does definitely seems more radiant, and plumper and I can see that it has also helped in reducing the appearance of enlarged pores so I’m pretty impressed as scared as I was of the needles this is one set of needles that doesn’t bother me!

A lot of people get worried that needling hurts, however this one doesn't hurt at all. I find my skin to have really improved with collagen production. I use this after cleansing but before my other skincare products to help get deeper absorption. My face is glowing more than it has in a long time. I also use this on my lips before applying a lip mask, and it really helps to lock in moisture.

Using it 3 times a week to assist in absorption of serums and creams. After application your skin is left serene with no discomfort with use. Gentle pressure used only and I have noticed a reduction in fine wrinkles! It’s an easy to use product but highly recommend you follow the instructions provided. So far the results of using this product are great and my skin is noticeably soft! I believe it to be as good as a salon treatment that I can perform at home.

I was a little anxious to try as I hate needles! But once I gave it a go, I was blown away by the instant results and how pain-free it is! I felt my moisturiser was better absorbed into my skin and my skin felt super plump and tight! I accidentally rolled it over an acne mark and the next day, it disappeared! A cheaper alternative to beauty salons (admittedly not as effective, but with such a significant cost difference, is good entry-level). Highly recommended. Rated 5 out of 5 by from It really works! I’ve been using for about 6 weeks now, 2-3 times a week. I follow it up with Dr Lewinn’s sheet mask once a week and a serum and moisturiser the other times. Skin care products just melt into my skin and I’m sure they penetrate deeper than when used on its own. The texture of my skin has improved – it feels firmer and looks healthier. I’ve been getting comments that I look younger – the best compliment a women in her 40s can wish for! I'm going to get this tool as gifts for my girlfriends - it's so affordable! Tip: follow the instructions – there’s really no need to apply any pressure on the roller. The first time I used it approached it with too much gusto and tingling sensation was rather intense.
