Rated 4 out of 5 by Pretty_please from Exceptional facial trimmer, not ideal for eyebrow or bikini area The Schick Hydro Silk Perfect Finish trimmer is a very easy to use nifty little devise which has three attachments to trim the face, eyebrows and bikini. I found the trimmer can effectively removes hair from the face however, I was unable to trim my eyebrows satisfactorily. The facial attachment was very gentle and glided over the skin, painlessly removing hair. I found that I had to go over some sections of my face several times to remove all the hair, but it was easy to tell once I had removed everything and there was never any redness or irritation. I prefer this gentle, gradual hair removal process as opposed to something more aggressive. It reached all the hard to get at places on my face very easily and very safely. I like to shave my whole face about once a month for better makeup application as my facial hair is mainly peach fuzz and have tried a variety of methods, however I am converted and from now on will be using this trimmer. The eyebrow and bikini attachments did not really work for me, as my hair is fine and lays quite flat on my skin the attachment was not able to get to my hair, only trimming about half of the hair in the area effectively. Overall, I am extremely happy with this device as a facial hair trimmer and will continue to use it for this purpose. However, if you are looking for a eyebrow or bikini trimmer there are better tools available on the market.

At first, the product seems difficult to use but the instructions are very clear and it is actually very simple and well designed. I used the product every few days. Specifically along my bikini line and once a week on my face. It felt gentle at trimming the hair, it was not harsh against these delicate areas. After, my skin felt smooth and trimmed. I didn’t develop any rash or redness, my skin wasn’t itchy. I do regularly shave, so this product may be more beneficial for someone with more coarse hair. Although, I have been scared to attempt shaving my face, so this product worked perfectly for that! I would recommend the product for girls who want to try a more gentle way of removing hair rather than waxing or laser, and something with less razor burns (like shaving may give you)

It also comes with a little bag so it’s easy and small to pack away. This product can be used for face, brows and bikini; I quiet enjoyed this for both the face and brows. The face attachment is really good at getting rid of all the peach fuzz and leaving the face feeling nice and smooth and the eyebrow attachment was fairly easy to use to shape the eyebrows although I found it didn’t get out all of the stubborn dark hairs however when I get my eyebrows waxed it usually takes 2/3 goes as they are very stubborn. I didn’t like the bikini attachments however as they didn’t shave as short as I was like and left it feeling quiet prickly. This attachment could be okay for anyone just looking for a trim.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Peach perfect from User friendly Such a neat little kit with more than one use that helps you save on time and effort - depending on personal preferences. Very easy to understand the function and use it. Like how they had images with the instructions - leaving no scope for confusion. For brows - for me that I just tried once and chickened out. I'm very scared of accidentally shaving off my brows. Also considering that of all hair on my body, my brows are most well-behaved, I like to leave them alone ;) (Don't be jealous. Next point is going to make you feel very lucky). For facial hair - little rotating round head. Definitely the function I have used most. Not just upper lips and lower lips and chin, I also get prominent side burn hair so this tool did make life very 'bright' for me. No scope of accidentally damaging the skin, removes those fine hair gently and very close shave result. Absolutely perfect to prep for my laser sessions. For bikin - this is somewhere in the range of oky. Not super close shave but decent enough if you don't like using razors. I personally don't like super close shave for bikini area since when the hair start growing back it's like stubble beard feeling - itchy, prickly and all sorts of uncomfortable. So to me this trimmer works better. Overall - easy to use device that is so little and easy to carry while travelling thanks to the little bag provided in the kit.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Ellyce from Bye bye peach fuzz I've been wanting to buy a tool for quite some time, something that I could groom myself with without shaving. I'm so glad I've tried the Hydro Silk Perfect Finish and will continue to use it in my weekly routine. The component is nice and slim and really easy to hold and maneuver when using it. The instructions are easy to follow and cleaning after use is a breeze. It also comes with a little bag to keep everything together, this would make travelling with it super simple. I mainly use the facial trimmer attachment to remove unwanted peach fuzz, but to change the different heads is so simple, all you have to do is twist to unlock it. It comes with 4 different attachments depending on your needs. My other favourite is the eyebrow trimmer, the head is quite small though so it will take me some more practice to perfect using it. I do wish it had an on/off switch rather than a push button as you have to keep it held down for the duration of using it which can be tricky. Overall though I would definitely recommend this product to anyone needing a simple, mess free grooming tool.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Rk2002 from Handy hair groomer This is such a handy tool to groom hairs! The schick hydro silk perfect finish is about 15 cm long and has 3 detachable heads. It has a round head which moves in circular directions designed for facial hair. Another head is a small trimmer designed for fine hair around the eyebrow regions and the final head is like a traditional razor designed for bikini line. It is operated by a AA battery and is simple and easy to use and can be housed in a white pouch. The other day, in the car mirror I noticed some annoying chin hairs and noticed my brows a bit wild. It was so quick and easy to fix those with this tool. No major prep or aftercare required! There are also attachable heads to assist with length control- personally I don't find these very helpful. I would use this tool as a handy touch up. I doesn't replace the need for tweezing and proper eyebrow shaping with tweezers/ wax, etc.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Ivy903 from A nifty and long lasting trimmer This is a handy multi-purpose hair trimmer and one that I will be using all year long. It works well and comes with interchangeable attachments that will help you achieve your desired look, including comb attachments that accompanied the eyebrow and bikini trimmers - both of which were precise and easy to use. The face trimmer was also gentle and removed hair quickly and smoothly (even some of the tiny/thinner hairs that would normally be trickier to get rid of). The tool has been designed really well as it is cordless (battery powered), waterproof and lightweight, and it was easy to change, remove and clean the attachments once I was finished. A little brush is also included that helps remove any excess hairs that may still be on the trimmer. Overall a really nifty tool to have in your bathroom, and one that will last longer than regular and more disposable products (which is a big plus for me)!

It has three main areas of application: trim facial hair, style eyebrows, and bikini trim. Typical competitor products usually only focus on one of the above. So it's a great option if you want to have an all in one device. My favourite application is to use it to style eyebrows. It has a dual sided trimmer, which is a nice touch. What won me over was the comb attachment designed to create the same length of eyebrows - it's something I've never thought I would even need before, but absolutely loved how it! Such an easy way to amplify the look. The downside is that the trimmer itself is pretty big, since it's designed for face and bikini. This made it a bit uncomfortable (but not impossible) for me to precisely style my eyebrows. I feel like I would rather use the comb and other trimmers and just continue styling eyebrows with tweezers.

In past 2 years I've been quite conscious of my consumption and the waste it creates especially around health and beauty. The device is powered by 1 AA battery and fits in your hand. It has a squishy on button, at first I thought I had to hold it down while using it but it turns out you only need to press it is all. I've used for the areas suggested - a bikini trim, eyebrow shaping and for removing facial hair. I found it most useful for shaping my brows, which gives me a more precise result than waxing but doesn't take as long as plucking. I also love the handy comb is comes with which make trimming your brows soooo much easier than a pair of scissors. If you're the kind of girl with hair down there, it also has a bikini comb to shape your bush. What I love most about this is that I don't need shaving cream or have to worry about blunt razor blades that I have to keep throwing away. A worthy investment.

Rated 4 out of 5 by L I V I A from Convenient 3 in 1 Styler - Must Have Item So I tried the HYDRO Silk Perfect Finish Multizone Styler over the weekend which works great for if you're after a product that 1) Removes your facial hair, 2) Shapes your eyebrow hairs 3) Trims Bikini Line, etc. It's a product that is definitely useful in many ways which is great because it's convenient and works amazingly well. For me it fulfills all of my beauty needs in the one session which means I cut back on time, sessions, going to salons, etc. For those urgent trim sessions, this beauty device is a must-have especially if you're constantly having many sessions on a monthly basis or so. I love the fact that it trims the eye brow hairs and facial hair, which is a great plus side for me. Of the accessories included, it comes with a cleaning brush, batteries and a beauty bag too which are bonuses to have!

Rated 3 out of 5 by sami11 from Handy product for those who use all the functions I was excited to try this product as part of the beatyheaven trial team as I generally haven't changed my self-care/hair removal routine and products I use for years. The tool comes with different attachments and can be used for eyebrows, facial hair and bikini line. To change the attachments was easy and the overall use was simple. The product comes in a nice box and the tool itself is a nice purple, easy to hold and comes with a handy bag which I love to keep it all together. I usually get my eyebrows waxed and do my own maintenance so I was keen but scared to try the eyebrow tool. It was perfect for a little touch up in between appointments! If you currently do your own then would be ideal but I don't trust myself enough for that. The facial trimmer I was excited to try as I've been wanting to buy a tool for this for a while but never been sure as I don't really have a lot of hair so was more an interest. This was easy to use and had to go over some areas a couple times but overall a success for the unwanted peach fuzz! Excited to add this to my routine. The bikini area I didn't love as much- I prefer a closer shave but would be perfect for someone who didn't care, trimmed or between appointments!

I have to say I had high Hopes for this product as I do lobe a good face trimmer to help with removing all that unwanted peach fuzz. I found it took a couple of goes to remove my peach fuzz from the side of my face, where as my other trimmer that looks similar to a comb, gets it first go and only cost me around the $5 mark. I also didnt like the feel of my face afterwards. It felt shaved and I just dont like that feeling I didn't attempt to use the eyebrow function as I onlymleave that to the professionals for fear of removing part of my eyebrow by accident. It is not a product that I would reccomend as I have used better for a fraction of the price and that do a much better job

Rated 3 out of 5 by Deeknight from Decent product Overall I think the HydroSilk Perfect Finish is a good product. It took a little getting used to some elements but good. The packaging is nice and sleek and made it fairly clear how to use the product. Inside you have 3 seperate heads to change onto the main handle. It also comes with a easy storage bag so you don’t loose anything. And it’s purple so TICK! The bikini head works great and I’m really impressed with how clean the cut is. I can see this needing a little razor oil at some point in its life but that isn’t unusual for an electric razor. The eyebrow head gets a little getting used to but there is a dual sided comb so you don’t cut too close. It gives nice shape but if you haven’t used one before, just be careful. The facial head was probably my least favourite. I actually have a lot of facial hair because of my PCOS so I was super excited to try it. Unfortunately it isn’t strong enough for my hair. I had to leave it on my skin for quite a while before it would take enough hair off however the next day I realised by doing this I had created a rash on my face. I think this is more designed for that baby fluff some people have rather than actual facial hair. Overall, I’ll continue to use the bikini head and the eyebrow head on occasion but the facial one isn’t my cup of tea.

I received the Schick Hydro Silk Perfect Finish Kit as part of the Beautyheaven Review Team - Thank you! For those of you who don't have the time to read the 'story of my life', in short I believe this tool would be really handy for most people. However, for those of you with sensitive skin, like moi, please proceed with caution. So, the story of my life begins like this... I hate any type hair that grows below eye level. However, my hair is too light for laser and it is too dark to be 'au natural'. I am also too impatient for waxing and my skin is too sensitive for shaving (I legit get 'tear your skin from your bones' type hives - eeek!) So when I was chosen for this trial, I was excited albeit wary (due to the aforementioned nightmares lol!) My first impressions were good. This device and its seven accessories appear to be well built with a good weight. It's definitely small enough to be conveniently carried around in your handbag. However, please be careful to keep it in the included pouch. Not only is this more hygienic but at a quick glance, this device could be mistaken for a vibrator - inappropriate but true! It was easily removed from the packaging and put together. The included battery was a nice addition! The face trimmer can be described as a miniture version of a mens shaver. Whilst I like the concept, I found it very difficult to find the right level of pressure to use. Lighter pressure didn't achieve a smooth result. However, using heavier pressure was quite uncomfortable and stingy. The bikini trimmer is also a good tool. However, to prevent irritation, it's important to use it with the included comb. Ideally, this comb needs to be much smaller though as it doesn't allow for a close trim. In my mind the comb just needs to be small enough to mitigate any irritation. Lastly, I didn't get an opportunity to use the eyebrow trimmer. But it seems like it would be very similar to other like-products on the market. All-in-all, although my experience wasn't overly positive, I put most of this down to my sensitivity. I think this is a very convenient and well-built tool for ones with more resilient skin to use if they are 'in a pinch'. However, I wouldn't recommend this as someone's primary hair removal tool. Rather, a handy item to have in their hair removal arsenal.

Rated 3 out of 5 by gracie13 from Recommend for travelling I was lucky to be invited to be a part of the trial team for the Schick Hydro Silk Perfect Finish Kit. I was really excited to see how it went. It’s a light purple colour, around the size of a Nikko pen and is designed for keeping eyebrows, facial hair and bikini lines inline. There are different head attachments depending on where you want to use it. Ok so eyebrows first - I was a bit scared to try it on my brows as I’ve had a few bad experiences with home jobs and I get them done professionally now but this surprised me. It was good for giving my brows a quick touch up though I wouldn’t stop my professional appointments just yet. I think that’s more of my own self doubt though. Next, facial hair - I used it for my upper lip and was surprised at how well it performed. There wasn’t any hair left after use and didn’t take long to use. It was a bit awkward with the round head, I think an angular shape would be better but not a big problem at all. Lastly, the bikini trimmer - I usually get my lady bits sugared but I was in between appointments so there was enough hair to try it out with. I didn’t really need the trimmer but I gave it a go anyway! I think it would be good for people who don’t sugar/wax/shave as there are different trim length settings. The final result wasn’t as smooth as other removal ways which would annoy me so much but could be perfect for others. Overall I think the Hydro Silk Perfect Finish would be a great travel accessory if you’re in between professional appointment.

Rated 3 out of 5 by chloe_mitch from A nice to have but not a need to have product! An all in one grooming products with interchangeable attachments to satisfy my brows, face and bikini line..... Let's put this to the test! The packaging displays the 3 different uses for the multizone styler, and clearly illustrates and explains each attachment and what area it focuses on. The product also comes with a beauty bag to place the the device in along with the attachments which is great for travelling, and also has a small brush in the bag to easily clean the device after use. Surprisingly the eyebrow applicator was my favourite part of this product. It was extremely easy to use, and left my browns looking full but groomed. I normally go and get my browns professionally done so this tool really impressed me and means that I can go longer in between brow appointments. This feature would also be great whilst on holiday as I am brow obsessed. The Bikini trimmer I found to be my least favourite, as I found that I did not get the closest shave and skin wasn't super smooth afterwards. I ended up using the facial hair applicator on my bikini line instead which I found worked a lot better. The facial hair applicator was gentle on my skin and did work well, however I must say that I do prefer waxing on my face as the results last longer. One improvement to this product would be if it was re-chargeable instead of battery operated. Whilst I did enjoy this product I did feel like it was not an essential item. I found the every day razor can produce similar results.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Katieloves from Perfect for touch ups! The Schick Hydro Silk Perfect Finish Kit is a hair removal system designed to remove hair from the bikini and face, including brows. I was somewhat hesitant to try this product on my brows, as I prefer to leave this to the professionals, but decided to give it a try (thanks BH for the trial invite) thanks to Covid! The product itself is very well made, durable and super easy to use. It comes with a little bag to store the attachments, which are very easy to interchange. When removing hair, the shaver is gentle, quiet, light weight and doesn't snag the hairs while it trims. I cautiously used it to shape and trim my eyebrows and I was still safe to go out in public afterwards. Phew! However, this product excels at shaving those little spots around the body that are too small/awkward for a traditional razor like the ankles and bikini line. It is actually perfect when you are just about to leave the house and realise you have missed a spot! I appreciate that the product is battery operated and reusable. Overall, I am still quite anxious to use the Schick Hydro Silk Perfect Finish Kit on my eyebrows however, it is great for other hair removal as mentioned above. It isn't a must-buy and a product that I would use daily although, it is a useful addition to add to my hair removal routine.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Stacinator from mixed I have mixed feeling about this product. It is packaged great and has a neat little storage bag which fits all the pieces together really well. They thought of everything with the different attachments for all the areas is can be used. The razor felt really nice and was a good weight to use, it was a little noisy but not more than you would expect (more of a buzz). I tried out the bikini trim attachment which was easy to use and very straightforward instructions. It doesn't give a clean smooth finish but it was good to tidy and trim. I also tried the eyebrow attachment to shape around my brow arch, I wont lie I was a bit nervous using it but it worked very well to shape and left a very clean line so it was great for removing the stray brow hairs. I didn't use the brow trimmer as i'm a bit nervous to trim too much hair which I'm already quite limited on for my brows. Overall it is a handy little device and for the reasonable price it will be handy to keep in the bathroom for quick touch ups (especially handy that you don't need water).

Rated 2 out of 5 by No Ovski from Not a Very Close Shave I was fortunate enough to receive the Schick Hydro Silk Perfect Kit to trial. I found the product was really easy to assemble and use, and comes with a small carry pouch which I found useful to store all the small attachments that it came with. When I first received this product I was very excited to use it, as I currently pluck my eyebrows with tweezers, and wax unwanted facial hair. However when using it on my eye brows I found the product didn't get very close to the skin, so when using it for my eyebrows it was great for when I didn't have much time and needed to touch them up, however after a few days you could see the hair again so the product couldn't replace my tweezers entirely. I found the product awkward to hold when trying to use it on my eyebrows, and could only really use it on the top of my eyebrows and not underneath them due to the close distance between the small razer and my eyes. As such, I would recommend this product for someone who wants a quick way to do some hair removal; however do not think it would be able to entirely replace your hair removal regime.

As a result, I did not overly love this product. My expectations were high and I expected the results to be as effective as normal shaving. They were not... Upon opening the trimmer I was pleased it included a battery and the instructions were easy to follow. Firstly, I tested out the bikini trimmer. Once again, I don't have a lot to work with however it did the job of removing the hairs. Whilst it was easy to use and move around that area, it didn't remove the hairs as close to the skin as my normal razor shaver. It also gripped the skin more and was a little uncomfortable to use in comparison to my razor. Secondly, I tested the eye brow trimmer. It was a little bit terrifying having something resembling clippers near my eyebrows. To get the hairs under the arch of my brow I found my nose got in the way of the angel required and it was a lot of effort and time consuming (I might just be super unco at this though!) . When I did work out the angel it didn't trim hairs as close to skin as I would like and would definitely choose to wax or pluck my brows over using this again. I did like the two options for length and the comb attachment you could put over the top of the trimmer for a uniform length. Thirdly, I tried the face trimmer. I don't really have hairs on my face so did not see a huge difference and wasn't requiring the product for this reason. Overall, I love that you can use it in the shower and it can provide a quick touch up for brows but it wouldn't replace tweezers and razors for me personally.

To give users some background, I don't wax my facial hairs (upper lips and eyebrows mainly). Instead I opt for very sharp razor blades to maintain their shape. Further to this, I also shave in my bikini areas. My honest opinion about the Hydrosilk Perfect Finish product is that I am not completely sold on the product unfortunately. Here are my experiences labelled under each trimmer purpose: EYEBROW TRIMMER: The eyebrow trimmer I found didn't give me a close enough shave to shape my eyebrows. As mentioned earlier I use very sharp razors to give me that close shave and I also find it gives my eyebrows definition as a result. I felt this product left the shortest stubble behind on my eyebrows. I also found it quite awkward to position the product properly to create the shape I wanted. The tiny trimmer side was something I was excited to use but this was really difficult to use for me in the end as I was conscious that directly opposite to it is a long trimmer that could catch onto other hairs that I don't want to trim. For example the top of my eyebrows this product is fine, but the brow bone (where you place highlighter) this was extremely difficult as I was worried if I moved the product away too quickly it might catch onto my eyelashes as the distance between my brown bone and lashes is not super far if that makes sense? or my brow hair. Put it this way I had to be careful with it I couldn't just move my hand away without thinking about these possibilities. I also tested the comb attachment and it worked well initially but I found this made my eyebrows uneven in volume if that makes sense? I was left with a few patches and again this could be the way I was using the product but I just found this took some time to think about how to use instead of being able to use the product with ease. It worked for one eyebrow and when I tried to create the same result on the other eyebrow it just wouldn't budge or didn't trim much hair at all. The other thing I had noticed as well was that the eyebrow trimmer with this specific attachment would make the trimmer heat up and I didn't like that feeling to be honest as it would get quite warm. FACE TRIMMER: I tested the face trimmer on my upper lips. This was great had no problems with this. It did really get rid of my fine hairs. I found this product really gentle and effective for this. This is probably the attachment I liked most out of all of them. BIKINI TRIMMER: This bikini trimmer came with a comb as well. I liked this comb attachment works great. However when I took the comb off the trimmer and used the bikini trimmer to get that closer shave, I encountered problems again. It just tugged and made me feel like the possibility of it catching on to my skin was a probability as it got caught with some of my hairs. I actually really liked the shape and size of the product to maneuver my way around in my bikini area as the way the product has been designed made it really easy for me to get to certain areas down there and provided me with a level of control that I haven't experienced with other products. It was light weight and you could get a full comfortable grip. However, it didn't give me the closest shave as well as it left some stubble behind. I also found it a little frustrating that I couldn't put the product down to check what I was doing as the product kept rolling off my counter top. The only way you can prevent this from happening is to place the product up right or create a non slip surface to place the product down. This doesn't come naturally to me as my immediate response is to put it down to check how I am progressing with the trim. OVERALL PRODUCT: The product was quite loud on the eyebrow trimmer and the bikini trimmer and I also felt the battery struggled to power these attachments as felt it was quite weak. However, I noticed on the facial hair trimmer the product is quiet and created sufficient power as it operated quite well with the battery. Changing attachments is easy and I like the feature that you can lock the attachment down for security that it won't move. I can imagine that this would be quite useful for someone who maybe going on holiday as it is multi-function and compact and it could assist with maintaining shape and length. I think this product would be great for those in between days of your usual wax or threading as it can help to maintain but I don't see this product as a replacement to your usual hair removal routines.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Sparklesparkle from Good for sensitive skin types Was very excited to try this battery powered, quite compact (travel friendly - comes with carry pouch) hair trimming device. Comes with a few different attachments: - a blade-like head for eyebrows/face: I found this wasn't sharp enough for precise work around my brows or a clean smooth finish anywhere on my face really. This may be better suited for people with very sensitive skin. I find the cheap disposable eyebrow razors from Daiso a lot sharper and easier to use than this. This also comes with a cover attachment to brush over your brows and trim any long hairs - my brows aren't super dense or long so didn't get any use out of this one. - a round, flat head to gently remove any peach fuzz from your face: this is super gentle and again better for sensitive skin types. I don't even have much hair on my upper lip and they're super fine and even so found I had to go over the same areas multiple times. Didn't irritate the skin though. - bikini trimmer: this was great for trimming hairs down but don't expect a smooth finish, it still left a little stubble like length. This also comes with a cover attachment meant to brush through and trim down the length but this did not work at all for me - the hairs just seemed to slip right through.
