Rated 4 out of 5 by Penny G. from Surprised at quality! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s been over 15 years since I used an eyeshadow palette or quad from the “drugstore”. I was pleasantly surprised by this one! Back in the day I preferred L’Oréal and Revlon for their quality eyeshadows and I’m pleased to say that these Revlon shadows were still of high quality. I was surprised, I would rate them up with any of the higher end brands like MAC and Urban Decay. Both palettes look very shimmery in the pan and on swatches but I found that the first 2 show up far less shimmery on the eye and the last 2 are more dramatic - almost with a duochrome shift to them. I’ve worn colours from the first 2 shades in the crease and it looked nice, even in daylight. They’re a very interesting concept, quite sheer but really beautiful tones. Not your highly pigmented mattes or bright shades. Can be built up in intensity by applying with a fingertip or wet and layer well on each other to make new shades. They’re fun to play and experiment with - I’ve used both palettes together in one look. Slight flex leans more cool toned than Tantrum caprice but they’re both really beautiful wearable tones. I especially loved the slight flex blue grey shade on my blue eyes. Minor creasing without a primer but I get that with all shadows.

The colours were suitable for both day and night. The warm earthy colours are wonderful for a subtle day look, the shimmery texture adds a little glam to your standard day look. There was another palette that I found was more suited to a deeper, more intense night look. The colours in the palette were easy to work with and blended well together. They were distinct enough that you could see a difference in the colours when applying on the lids, but they also worked well when blended together. I used them with my dry brushes and they were smooth to apply and easy to blend. I also tried to use some of the colours on my cheeks as well and found they worked well as a highlighter too! I found the eyeshadow lasted the whole day and I was satisfied with how it lasted. Overall, I think this is a great product if you want metallic shimmery shades. I prefer to have some matt shades to mix with the shimmery so that is the only reason why I have the product 4 stars instead of 5, otherwise I couldn’t fault it!

The colours look very bold and strong but are actually very beautiful and subtle. They also weren't too shimmery, which I thought they would be by the way they looked in the palette. They blended seemlessly and each colour seemed to adjust or match my skin tone. Even the bold emerald colour became a very soft lovely grey green colour on the eyelid. I also loved how you could intensify the colour by wetting th e brush. Not only did I use the palette as eyeshadows but I used the browner tones as a subtle bronzer, the rose tone s a blush and the whiter shade as a highlighter. A great, versatile palette.

Being Revlon , its in the more affordable price range , which usually means the quality might not be there - however that was not the case with this palette. The pans were large in size, larger than a lot of affordable brands on the market . The shadows applied fairly evenly, and there was minimal fall out when applied. The shades were quite pigmented . I found over an 8 hour shift at work the shadows were still as vibrant as when they were first applied and did not fade away over the course of the 8 hours. All in all I found these palettes , while super affordable, were above average in quality for their price range . They were pretty shades and the shades that were put together all worked well with each other - which is great for beginners or if you dont want to have to think too much about application , everything in the palette works in harmony with each other . I would absolutely recommend these palettes to anyone looking to purchase great quality shadows but do not want to break the bank in doing so.

I did find you can put on ever so light a cover and the colour was stunning the ladies I worked with even commented how great my eyes looked. Love the little shimmer brightens up the eyes...it lasted well and never creased, the only let down for me...no place for a little brush to fit in case you take it in your handbag...minor detail though considering the quality of this product....fantastic job Revlon

Upon playing around with them I found the pay off to be velvety and smooth, and surprisingly blendable. Layering was easy with no chalky lines. The best thing was that the glitter wasn’t too audacious. It was a subtle shimmery glow. I like that the packaging is small, compact and light. I keep both in my makeup travel bag (I usually get ready at the gym) and I’ve had no issues with the durability of the case. Here’s the rundown on the two pallets I tested: 965 Tantrum Caprice - my favourite. Both browns had the perfect pay off on my eyelids - not too dark or light The lighter brown shade was perfect for every day. One swipe across my eyelids and I was good to go On the days I wanted a bolder look. I spritz my eyeshadow brush and dipped into the darker brown to apply on my cut crease Love the pinky-peach as it added a pop of colour without being OTT And of course, if you need to fake sleep like I always do the white/silver shadow is great in the inner corners of the eyes. It did wonders to brighten up my face 963 SlightnFlex Vantardise. I found the light gold to be the perfect highlight on my skin. It comes off like an iridescent gold. I would buy this pallet just for this shade! To give you an idea of my skin tone - I use the shade “Sand” from Too Face Born this way Foundation The rose gold and the metallic blue were perfect for date nights. I use my good old Mac Prep + Prime Fix spray to help create that wet look. The result big, bold, sultry eyes As for the last purple/silver share - this looked completely washed out on my skin. Assuming this would suit someone with a lighter complexion All in all, I think these pallets are versatile and you could have a lot of fun with them, however, and there is a big, however, the colours did not last on my eyes. The longest this stayed on my eyelids was 6 hours and this is with my wearing an eye shadow primer. I’ve got combination skin so my eyelids can get a little oily my but nothing too crazy. Worth tossing up before picking up these beauties.

This is a well-rounded palette to achieve multiple looks either as a single go-to all over eye colour, or smoked-out moody liner effect. Unnoticeable fallout over the course of my working day. Most of the shades are nicely pigmented and they all compliment one another for wearable combinations.

They are made in Italy, not China, which is an immediate plus. The colours are beautiful, strong but very wearable with the colour able to be used softly or with strong depth. I'm not likely to use all of the different colours but it would be rare to find palettes with every colour I'd use. As an 'Ancient Beauty" I prefer my makeup to be soft, subtle and natural. These are actually stronger than I am totally comfortable with on the whole, but can be used to create a soft effect when applied lightly. They are described as "prismatic, richly textured eyeshadow that delivers creamy colour with crystal shine" which is a very apt description. The shine is subtle and definitely not too shimmery. They would be a dream for someone who loves strong eye colour with depth. The packs are nicely presented and would be wonderful for travel as they are small and compact and the complimenting colours of the four in each palette would allow for different effects. I was delighted to be part of this Trial Team.

These eyeshadows are metallic shimmery but very subtle. You can build on the colour and especially with the darker shades. I love that there is hardly any fallouts with the shadow. It is great quality compared to high end designer brands. I also like the packaging as it makes it easy for application. Each square in the palette comes with ample colour fit for any type of eye brush. These are so versatile, I've een used the lighter white colour as highlighter on the cheeks and the pink colour as blush. They have kept really well on the face. I love it and will be purchasing more in different shades!

Great range of colours to create either a delicate or strong eye look. I usually go for matt shades but the sheen on these shadows is subtle and gives a really good finish. The product goes on really well and is easily blended. Best of all it doesn't crease, even after wearing for a whole day. I do feel that one matt shade would make this a perfect product for me, hence the 4 star rating instead of 5!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As soon as I saw these I was excited, they look so luxurious and the embossed top reminds me of some holiday MAC eyeshadow I've had before. The shades are really beautiful and have a nice high sheen lustre to them, as they are all shiny I find these palettes can't really be used for a whole eye look but because the palettes are nice and compact they don't take up heaps of space. Would definitely reccomend these, not chalky and wear well throughout the day with no fall out. I used both a finger and a brush to apply and both gave awesome result

I accidentally drop the palette on hard floor and one of the shade came right off (without breaking), i can pick up the whole shadow and put it back as brand new. All colours in the pallette are shimmery, but shuttle enough for everyday use. The colours selection in each palette blends well together. The colours are pigmented and can be picked up by the brush easily. There is no fall out which is a plus. I have been using matte shadows for a long time, this palette reminds me of how nice a shimmery shadows are.

The shade variety also provides a good inner corner highlight, some mid tones, and a deeper shade, which I appreciate. The design on the pans is very pretty and makes the product look high end. The actual component is sturdy easy to use. I think most shades have good pigmentation, especially with a primer. Keep in mind some shades are more eye shadow toppers. The shadows have minimal kick-up in the pan and fall out on the face.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Nina I. from Beautiful shimmer palette with high end vibes [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Revlon So Fierce Prismatic Palette is made up of to-die-for shimmers that can be worn on a casual beachy day trip or a boozy night out. Not to mention the clear packaging is absolutely beautiful - I love how textured the shadows felt on my brush, and how much the little bumps assisted to pick up pigment. Every shadow was creamy and blendable, I found the darker shades worked well with a wet brush, while the transition and lighter shades were better dry. All colours worked well with my warm toned skin (NC 30). My only issue is that even when I used a primer and concealer to set the shadows, they only lasted a few hours on my eyelids. That said - I have VERY oily eyelids and typically reapply shadows every 3ish hours, and when I tried this method the shadows worked out fine. Here’s a rundown of all the shimmers and the ways I used them. This palette is so versatile, I’d almost call it a face palette. The colours don’t have specific names so I described them the best I could. Duo Chrome Gold/Blue: This shade is very close to dupe for Pat McGrath’s Mothership Subliminal Palette in the shade “Astral White”. Definitely the colour I was most excited about, and it did not disappoint! I loved putting this in the inner corner of my eye. Mauve Shimmer: I used this as a transition shade, and on my lower lash line. Used alone, this gives a really glowy, natural, bronzed look. Blue- Green Shimmer: This is such a sultry look, you can really smoke out your eyes with this colour. Definitely more of a night time vibe- I also found using this colour as an eyeliner with a wet brush was very effective. It applies on darker than expected on the lid, but is creamy and easy to control. Champagne Shimmer: I expected this to work as a highlighter but it was a little too dark for my cheeks. This shade works well as a base shade, and I applied it to my brow bone for a little extra pop. Super versatile and natural looking. Sparkly Silver: This shade is surprisingly bright and has big sparkly pigments. It works well in the inner corner and doubles as a highlighter if you love a blinding highlight. Made me feel like a literal sunbeam. It was wonderful! Red/Copper Shimmer: This shade is not super pigmented so i felt as if I needed a lot of product for it to show up, but after absolutely packing it on - the colour was amazing. It also blended out super well. Not to mention the red made a great blush, I have warm toned skin and it made me look healthy and radiant. Bronze: Too dark to be a bronzer, but definitely gave a natural wash on the eyelids, and I could use it on the lower lash line too. Deep Brown: Not as dark as it seemed, I found it blended well with the bronze colour next to it, and worked better when wet.

I loved the color which was shown on the screen and I loved the brown gradations. I bought it promptly but I felt so disappointed. The color is totally different. It is cool brown color which does not match for me. It is COOL brown, if your skin tone is warm, do not buy this. Texture is good anyways.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Linda K. from Revlon So Fierce Prismatic Eyeshadow Palette [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Revlon So Fierce Prismatic Palette were very different to other palettes I have tried in the past. While they are more sheer in terms of colours than some I found this allowed me to build to the desire amount of colour without it being overwhelming, great for anyone wanting to experiment with different looks without pushing the boundaries too far. My favourite was the Tantrum/Caprice palette the colours in this were multi dimensional rather than appearing as one solid colour allowing me to create looks that were fresh & soft. The neutral tone of the colours in this palette made it very easy to adopt into day or night looks making it very versatile. The Slight Flex palette has an emerald shade & this is a colour I would normally tend to avoid however it balances well with the brown & gold tones in this palette to add a little something extra when you're looking for something different. Both palettes tend to be more of the shimmery side so could be used for soft look or with a matte eye & added to highlight. The products glide on seamlessly however I did not find them highly pigmented.

It's been a bright spot in this crazy Covid world. I was very intrigued to try these Revlon palettes, as Revlon is not generally regarded as having the best quality eyeshadows. First, the packaging and presentation is beautiful. A light but solid plastic case, very good for a makeup bag on the go, and the pattern of the shades is glorious. They really are gorgeous to look at. However, the colours do not apply as strongly pigmented as they look in the pan. I would describe them as subtle and shimmery, perfect for washes of prettiness across your eyes. A lighter shade in each palette seems to have that real prismatic colour effect, and work great as top coats to give dimension to the colours underneath. However, I think you will need to use other palettes (or singles) in combination with this if you like to create more defined looks with matte base and crease shades. These shadows apply best with fingers, or a slightly dampened or spritzed brush. I think these will work well in Australia in the summer, if you are a low-fuss make-up user who wants some quick and pretty eyeshadow for a casual trips out on balmy nights. Definitely a good choice for beachside holidays, if you can in fact go on one! (Thanks Covid!). Overall I think this a step up in product execution for Revlon and I really applaud them for that. I think they can deliver more though, so I look forward to future releases.

If you have "oily" eyelids at all I would definitely recommend an eye primer with this product, as I wore it just around the house (COVID lockdown) and had creasing - I do love that the colour was true and buildable and some could double as a highlighter - gotta love a multiuse product -hoping I can wear them on a night out sometime soon

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These eyeshadows look amazing, and i wanted to love them, but they left a lot to be desired. First impressions were great. The packaging is sleek, and looks luxe. It's what i'd expect from Revlon. The colours on first inspection were great and they worked well together. There are some amazing duochromes and lots of sparkle. I did think the palettes were missing a matte, which makes them a bit 1 dimensional. Swatching the colours on my arm, they seemed a little sheer, but nothing major. However, when used with a brush, the issues started. The colour pay off on the eyelids is extremely sheer and a bit patchy. It does not last all day on oily eyelids, which could be fixed with a decent eyelid primer, but doesn't really work for easy daily usage. Colour did not build easily, and was only slightly better when applied with a wet brush. They blended ok, but without a matte shade the looks created were 1 dimensional. Which leads to the next problem. There was quite a bit of fall out created each and every shade. Again, primer would help, but it doesn't help when you're trying to pack more colour on to make up for the sheerness. And i found the fall out over the course of a day irritated my eyes. I think there are better products for the price point. Revlon is a more premium 'drugstore' brand, and i would expect a better calibre of products for my money.
