Let's just say I'm glad I didn't have to pay for it. I had high hopes as I have used other Dermal Therapy products on the past and they have been great, but this lip balm was not great. When I put it on its it looked good, it felt good and smelt good, but within a few minutes I was feeling like there was nothing there and I needed to re-apply. I saw no visible changes to the appearance of my lips after a week's regular usage. I did like the tube that it comes in, as it was easy to get the product, but that's about all that I liked about this product.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not For Me. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Star rating is very difficult as I had a bad reaction to this but can't blame the product. I dislike anything flavoured in lip products. I was happy to try this but instantly felt sick as soon as I'd applied it. I removed it and it was about an hour before I stopped feeling ill. I have extreme sensitivity to fragrances and alcohol ingredients in products and this has three different alcohol ingredients. I am pleased that this is made in Australia and that the company is Australian owned. I need a good lip conditioner but not one that is flavoured. The product claims to be ultra moisturising with visible results seen in one day. Unfortunately there is no way I could use this but due to my sensitivity I am not blaming the actual product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not a great one! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I would like to thank Beautyheaven and Dermal Therapy for giving me the opportunity to try this product. The Dermal Therapy lip balms are a bit of a cult item and I was looking forward to giving it a crack. I am devoted to my current lip balm, but always open to try new things! The blue and white packaging is distinctive and easy to spot in a cluttered beauty drawer. Again, I wanted to like this but I really couldn’t warm to it! I found it to have a weird, tingling sensation on my lips that I found a bit unpleasant. I also found it to feel a bit strange with the petrolatum in the ingredients. It was hard to keep going back to use it, and ended up going back to my OG lip balm after a few days. Again, unfortunately this isn’t one I would recommend personally.

Lip balms are one of my favourite beauty products because they're basically a hydrating, wearable gloss, so I was super excited to try this lip balm. I've used this lip balm for about 4 days or so before I gave up on it because it just didn't work for me. I have super dry lips that can often peel, crack and just feel really tight and uncomfortable. This lip balm suggested it would be a miracle, but it wasn't. The lip balm has a very light, buttery consistency when you apply it on your lips. It spreads pretty easily and quite well. As soon as you apply it, it gives a very cooling and tingly feeling that I assume is because of the menthol and camphor ingredients. It should have been great, but to me it felt unpleasant. The lip balm is said to have a "berry" flavour or scent, but to me it smelled and tasted really weird, almost medicinal. My lips felt weird whenever I used this lip balm; somehow they ended up getting a bit drier, and it felt like there was always lingering residue. At some point I'd wipe the lip balm off with a tissue a few minutes after applying it because it just really wasn't comfortable or pleasant for me. I'm not sure if I received a bad product, but this lip balm is not something I would repurchase or recommend to friends or family. My HG lip balm remains vaseline lip therapy.
