It is very hydrating and applies quite easily, I like that it has a little nozzle which you squeeze and apply the balm - much more hygienic. No exposed balm. It glides on easily and hydrates the lips very well - keeps them well moisturised. I do find at times, it leaves a white layer and people have commented I have stuff on my lips! eeek , like i haven't wiped my lips properly. So I have to make sure it's rubbed in properly. I do like the slightly minty feel afterwards, although my 8 year old isn't a fan of it.

Already a fan of the original and was keen to try the Berry. Dermal Therapy lip balms work really well for me by keeping my lips really hydrated and prevent them from splitting or cracking. A little disappointed that I could barely smell the berry flavour. There was the subtlest difference between this one and the original thus the reason for a 4 star rating. Other than that, it performed just as well and am glad I now have a backup.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Tingles when first applied. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This lip balm was the first thing I got into when I received my Best In Beauty package. It smells like menthol and blackcurrants and it applies clear. I've noticed that once it's been on the lips for a few minutes I can't smell it any longer. You only need a tiny little bit as it's thick and melts down once applied to my warm lips. The angled applicator tip makes it super easy to apply. It gives a subtle sheen to the lips and isn't sticky at all. I like the tingly burn (from the menthol) feeling it gives the lips when it's first applied which only lasts a few minutes. It doesn't have a foul taste. It has a subtle sweetness to it. I like how this keeps my lips smooth and stops them from drying out and cracking. I found that I don't need to apply this as often as other lip balms I've used in the past. It's hydrating effects last for hours. I love to apply this before bed and also before I do my makeup to soften and prep my lips.

I absolutely cannot leave the house, or even live in the house without a lip balm available. I use it multiple times a day as I get really dry lips and hate the tight feeling I get when I don't use a lip balm. As much as I love lip balm, I don't suit most coloured one's. So when I received this product, I thought it would be tinted. I was happy to find that it was just flavoured, and is a sheer non-coloured product! The berry flavour isn't strong, and it doesn't taste horrible like some lip products can. It is quite lightweight, and doesn't feel sticky or greasy. I don't find that my lips remain moisturised for any longer than my usual lip balm, however it definitely helped with the peeling that I often get on my lips each day. My lips are plump and soft after use which is what I look for in a lip product (with a great scent and flavour)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A Good Basic Lip Balm [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have enjoyed trying out the Dermal Therapy Lip Balm, however it likely won't be my go-to in future. The balm itself is perfectly fine - it's a clear, thick balm with a subtle berry scent. It smooths into your lips easily and wears well throughout the day. I found it to be nice and moisturising when my lips were feeling a bit dry. My only negative for this product is more of a personal one - I prefer my lip balms to have a slightly less thick texture, and I also prefer them to come with a subtle tint to them. The Nivea Watermelon balm is my go-to, because I like a bit of shine and colour after using a product. This lip balm just makes me look a bit washed out. I also think the fragrance could have been a bit nicer.

I use lip balm on a regular basis and this one moisturizes very well, the consistency is just right, not too runny and not to thick. Even though the scent of Berries is not too strong for most people, it was for me but this is really the only dislike I have. The product certainly delivers on its promises and I would recommend this for the entire family. as even it's Berry scented, there is no color to be seen

After a long winter and drying heating I was pleased to have a product which was nourishing and great for my lips. I found that with regular use, that my lips became softer and felt more nourished more often. The tube is small and friendly and fits well in any bag, pocket or purse. I find the smell of the lip balm is pleasant but can be a little strong. I don’t have sensitive lips so I am not sure how this would go for someone who has this issue. My lips are dry and have felt better is using this product which I am really pleased with. My lips are now feeling smooth and look better. The dry skin has gone and i have noticed that my lipstick stays on longer as a result.

Absolutely delighted to try another product from the Dermal range having successfully purchased the Heel Balm in the past. I always have lip balm on hand & constantly looking for the next best moisturiser. The cream is thick & white easily dispensed through squeezing the white plastic tube. The berry scent is very subtle & not overpowering, there is a slight tingling sensation on application which took awhile to get use to. Definitely noticed the difference the skin felt softer and more hydrated. The cracked skin slowly cleared & healed after several days and gave me total relief. Highly recommend.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great for Winter I received the Dermal Therapy Berry Lip Balm at Beauty Heaven’s recent Best In Beauty Marketplace Event. I have always been a massive fan of Dermal Therapy for their original lip balm (which is always in my bag). This is my go-to during Winter as it keeps my lips protected from the harsh winds. I would wear it my overnight lip mask and wake up the next day feeling moisturized. However, the issue with this lip balm is that I tend to re apply it a lot than other lip balms. Overall, a great lip balm to use for anyone with dry lips.

This lip balm makes my lips tingle in a good way, it feels like it is really hydrating, it gives my lips a nice sheen. I like the way that it has an angled applicator so you don't need to use your fingers and you can apply it straight to your lips. I quite like the berry flavour, it is very refreshing. I only feel the need to use this once a day if that and it does a great job of softening my lips. I don't use lip balms all the time, it felt great using this after winter but I doubt I would use it as much in summer.

The lip balm was easy to apply from the applicator, and I found it was a small and cute size that it could easily fit within my pocket. I also liked the sensation of the product on my lips, and the scent smelt great. The only downside I found to this product was my husband used it a few times and complained of the glossy appearance it left on his lips. In summary, I would definitely recommend this lip balm to anyone who is looking for an effective lip balm that smells great, is easy to apply, and feels great on your lips.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having been a fan of the original product, I was hoping that I would love this, and I absolutely do! Warning - if you're not a fan of menthol or tingly lips, then you may not be super keen on this. The Dermal Therapy Lip Balm in Berry is disappointingly not a berry scented product, but it is a berry scented lip balm - probably all for the best, as I don't think it'd stay on the lips for long if that's the case! This doesn't have any colour to it, and it glides on really nicely. I love that it doesn't feel like it simply leaves a layer on the lips, and instead, this actually does moisturise my lips really well. I'm left with soft, supple lips that feel soothed with a hint of tingle.

I'm obsessed with lip balms and I have so many at home and I use them all the time. This is called a berry lip balm because it has a berry scent but it doesn't tint your lips. You just squeeze the tube very gently and the product comes out and you just glide it over your lips! I love that it's hydrating and it glides on really easily as the product isn't too thick and yet not runny where it slides off. It leaves my lips feeling soft and it adds a nice sheen too. I also use this at night before bed kind of like a lip mask to keep it moisturised and soft. By morning my lips feel great and not as dry and chapped.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good texture but shame about the menthol [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely loved Dermal Therapy's PawPaw lip balm and expected this to be the same, with just a different flavour. Texture-wise it is great and prevents dry lips. However, it tingled - that is one of my pet peeves when it comes to lip balms - I find the tingling irritating and unnecessary. Upon inspection of the ingredients list, the culprit was the menthol. Admittedly, the tingling wasn't as bad as some other lip balms, but it is there. I am quite fussy with lip balm textures but I liked the texture of this. It's not too waxy and is hydrating. Application is easy with the squeeze tube. The berry flavour is quite nice. I know that the menthol complaint is a personal preference, so I'm just taking one star off even though I personally won't be repurchasing this. Dermal therapy makes other excellent lip balms without menthol. Make sure you check the ingredients list.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Berry good! The Dermal Therapy berry lip balm is a sweet and fruity lip balm that does a good job of keeping my dry, chapped lips moisturised and soft throughout the day. Since it comes in a tube it makes it really easy to apply and it has a really nice scent as well. It contains ingredients like cocoa seed butter which help to hydrate the lips and keep it in good condition. I use lip balms all the time and all year round because my lips are always dry and need constant hydration. It goes on easily and it has a nice consistency without making my lips feel uncomfortable.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Dermal Lip balm berry I like my lip balms and I go crazy if my lips feel dry and chapped. This is a nice lip balm, my lips feel moisturised afterwards but I do need to reapply more frequently that I want to. So I wish it was more moisturising compared with my paw paw lip balm. The berry fragrance or flavour is ok, it is not hitting the spot for me but it is ok. It is also not bad or unappealing. I like how the lip balm has a slanted application so I can easily apply the lip balm onto my lips. It is also a good size so it will last a long time and it is nice and small so I can carry it around in my bag.

I did have to keep reapplying consistently which was a bit annoying and i felt that it didnt really keep my lips hydrated compared to other lip balms on the market. The balm was very easy to apply from the tube and is the same consistency in any weather conditions. It doesnt have a greasy feeling to it like other lip balms do. I find the price to be pretty reasonable but ive used others that work better and last longer before having to reapply. All in all its an ok product

It is a thin white gel consistency as opposed to those heavy thick creams that work so well but feel so heavy on your lips and never really sink in. I find it blends in well and nourishes my lips immediately. It has a cooling sensation once applied and feels refreshing and moisturising. I tend to apply it more throughout the day as it is so light but I feel it really sinks in and with each application throughout the day. The tube is a bit clunky and the applicator is slanted for better spreading but I find the product spills over the sides. Apart from that, great! The flavour is very subtle too.

I was given this product to try and found it to be quite basic. I used it for a few days and found it to be more of a day to day use rather than get instant results for chapped and cracked lips. The other products that I have used in the past definitely worked and gave results in the few applications to cure chapped and cracked lips. I used it for a week during the day and night to observe the results and feel of the product on my lips. However it does leave your lips feeling moist and supple . The texture is very light and not too heavy. It is not creamy or heavy like other products. Found it to be oily after a few minutes. The only negative review I can give is that it is definitely not an overnight treatment product or a cure compared to other products in the market which will actually give you results for curing chapped or cracked lips. It was easy to use as the applicator is quite user friendly and the product glides quite well The fragrance was very nice and not too strong. The packaging says the smell is a berry fragrance but I found a bit of minty feeling / tingling sensation on my lips. Overall a good product to keep in your bag and use a little every now and then for maintenance and give you a bit of shine. The product is quite generous and is definitely not too expensive.

The berry flavour is quite subtle & not overpowering. Balm is super smooth & glides on effortlessly, a mild tingling sensation at first but slowly subsides. I absolutely love lip balms & always hide 1 or 2 in every hand bag for my dry cracked lips. However, unable to get over the unusual scent with this one & have to say I’m not a fan. The squeezable tube reminded me of the old Vaseline or Papaya that squirted in my bag one hot summer & made a real fine mess. In addition, no secure seal over nozzle to ensure the product clean, safe & hygienic. I’ll have to give this one a miss.

This is a generous size lip balm and I like the ease of the slanted tip to apply however the strong scent is a bit off putting. The balm itself does help with dry, cracked lips on application and gives instant moisture and relief, but I haven’t found any long lasting improvement yet after using for a couple of weeks. I like the slightly pink tint which looks really natural and is a great alternative to drying lipsticks. I am pleased with this lip balm and would be encouraged to try other products from Dermal Therapy.

Thanks to Beauty Heaven I got to try and review this product. I have tried many lip products before, so it was nice to try something new. When I used the lip balm, I liked the texture on my lips. It really made my lips feel moisturized for quite some time. I usually prefer lip balms that don't have any fragrance, or just a mild one. It took me a while to get used to the berry smell. I would have preferred the product not to have any fragrance. Regardless, I enjoyed using it on my lips.

It’s affordable and I like the shape (easily fits into small pockets or in a handbag). It also has quite a pleasant smell (but I didn’t think it smelled that much like berry?). So all in all, I’d rate it as a good product. There were a few things that I wasn’t such a fan of. The things I didn’t love about it were the taste (not terrible - but not great either), and I didn’t really like the tingly sensation after applying it. Some people like it I guess. But for me, when my lips feel dry I prefer something soothing and thick, rather than tingly. I also can’t say that I felt it made a dramatic difference to the texture of my lips over time. It definitely felt soothing in the short-term though. I would say that this product would be great for someone with minimally chapped lips, but if you had very dry lips, I’d probably still say that Blistex is better. I would definitely recommend this product as an everyday go-to for someone with normal lips with occasional dryness, but if you’re experiencing extremely dry lips, I probably would say there are more suitable options outside of this product. It's packaged in a plastic tube with a slanted nozzle for application. Lip balm is a handbag essential for me; I use it everyday. The lip balm is clear and has a vaseline like texture. When applied, the lip balm has a nice sheen on the lips. It contains menthol and camphor which I didn't like; it had a cooling sensation on the lips. However, I did find it was soothing and moisturising on the lips. Much like other lip balms, I didn't notice any long term difference in my lips so it required repeated application whenever my lips felt dry.

Was very keen to try this product as of course after the winter months meant that your skin tends to dry up from being in heated environments. My lips especially have been chapped much more than usual this year so was really excited to try this product out. It’s a good size, nice tube, consistency is good as it comes out but I found that even if I applied just a small amount to my lips it left a white residue which I really didn’t like. Unfortunately, I also found it did not live up to expectation as it didn’t improve my lip texture at all. Carmex is a much better option if you are looking for a product to really help with dry and chapped lips.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Very moisturising [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received Dermal Therapy’s Berry Lip Balm at Beauty Heaven’s recent Best In Beauty Marketplace Event. To be honest, I only use lip balms occasionally – either when I remember or if I have really dry lips (usually in summer or other times when it’s been really windy). I applied this product daily and was reasonably happy with the results. In terms of being fast acting and hydrating it certainly lived up to its promise. My kips feel soft and nourished. On the flip side, I often feel like I have camphor on my lips after using a balm. This product was the same but to a lesser extent than most that I’ve tried. Finally, I couldn’t really pick up on the berry flavour – perhaps due to the preceding observation. Overall, I think regular lip balm users will enjoy the results of this product.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from quenching the thirst I received Dermal Lip Balm Berry from the Best In Beauty Marketplace Event Sept 2022. The Thursday prior to the even I bought Himalaya Strawberry Gloss lip balm. because my current lip balm Elizabeth Arden, is almost finished. So I have not opened up the one I bought and did not finish my old lip balm, but am using the Dermal so I can write a review. I think lip balm must be a very difficult product to differentiate from other brands. The container is the same as my old and the new one I bought. It goes on the same and there is only a slight essence of the berry and it is lost soon after application. This lip balm is very much like the Elizabeth Arden to use and the feeling of it on the lips. So it is a good product but it doesn't stand out especially.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Berry flavour is okay [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product to trial after i was invited to the beauty heaven market place event. I have actually used this lip balm before after receiving it in a gift bag from Priceline and I still have it after a few months, so I am quite familiar with the product. I think the lip balm is hydrating, however I am not a big fan of scented products. The berry flavour is too strong and not refreshing. I wished the tube was also a bit smaller and would have preferred it if it was in a stick form. I would not buy this berry flavour again but I would be interested in trying other flavours or unscented ones.
