Directions

How to use the CeraVe SA Smoothing Cleanser:

1. Use a coin sized amount of the salicylic acid face wash on wet skin and gently massage into the skin for a few seconds.
2. Use warm-to-lukewarm water to gently rinse the off the salicylic acid cleanser.
3. Pat don't rub the skin to gently pat dry with a soft cloth.
4. Follow with the application of CeraVe Hydrating Hyaluronic Acid Serum as the second step in your daily routine for that added hydration and to lock-in moisture.
5. Use the PM Facial Moisturising Lotion and apply it to your face and neck for a hydrated and moisturised feel.


Using the CeraVe SA Smoothing Cleanser for body:

1. To use the salicylic acid body wash, use a generous amount of the cleanser to lather on wet skin all over the body.
2. Use warm to lukewarm water to gently rinse the off the salicylic acid body wash.
3. Pat don't rub the skin to gently pat dry the skin.
4. Follow with the application of CeraVe SA Smoothing Cream for best results.

Started using this cleanser paired with the moisturiser and I can already see the difference. My face is clear and so smooth. This doesn’t strip the skin also. It gives you a beautiful glow.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cleanses really well! After hearing and reading about the hype of CereVe, I finally caved in and purchased one of their products - the SA Smoothing Cleanser by CereVe. I must say, I was pleasantly surprised. A bit about my skin: I have quite oily skin, and tend to get blind pimples around 'that time of month', that appear on my chin. I also have blackheads and enlarged pores, especially around the nose/chin region. Now, I had heard amazing things about this cleanser, and it didn't disappoint. The cleanser itself is a liquid formula, that foams into a lather when gently rubbed on the face. I gently massaged it into my face for around 30-45seconds, and washed off with warm water. I try and do this twice a day, but definitely at least once per day. The cleanser left my face feeling fresh and clean, without stripping it of vital moisture and natural oils. 5/5 from me!

Everything that CeraVe produces is wonderful and is sold at a very accessible price point- this cleanser is no exception. I have this cleanser on rotation and tend to use it when I develop pimples- the salicylic acid works wonders at easing congestion, shrinking the appearance of pores and keeping my face in tip top condition. I was using a Neutrogena Foaming SA cleanser but I much prefer this. Always a bonus that it's fragrance-free!

The SA Smoothing Cleanser has worked wonders for him and has really cleared his skin up without drying it out or irritating it at all. This product foams up well but doesn't strip his skin at all. I really hope Cerave bring this out in a bigger bottle as he does go through it quite quickly. Even if they don't I will continue to purchase it for him because it is very good and has given him great results. His skin is much cleanser and far less red.

It’s a light texture that foams up easily and cleanses my skin really well without stripping it dry. I like to foam it up on my face and I’ll let it sit there for a little while before washing it off so that it gives the active ingredients a chance to really work on the skin. My husband started using it and he is obsessed with it now - when we ran out he panicked and bought two more immediately! It’s a great cleanser for the price - it has a very slight smell but barely noticeable so not an issue for me.

I'd say it's suited to most skin types except for very dry skin. The price is affordable but I wish it came in a bigger bottle (which I think the other CeraVe cleansers do). I will definitely be repurchasing once I run out.

I have noticed a difference in the smoothness and texture of my skin as well a reduction in my bumpy skin. I think with ongoing use this will help manage my skin condition. Great value and I love the pump bottle for easy application and I love that it foams up well in the shower. I have sensitive skin type and this is gentle enough to not cause any irritation.
