Rated 5 out of 5 by Beauty Obsession from Refined skin I trialled this night cream thanks to BH Glosscar trial team! I have never heard of this brand before and was keen to try and see the results!! According to the packaging you can achieve an increase of 70% elasticity. Yes please!! This is a New Zealand brand. Said to boost collagen, reduce wrinkles and accelerate repair of skin. Contains no parabens, sulphates, silicones and other potential nasties. Contains a blend of Bel Even, Matrixyl and Superox C (vitamin c) to smooth and plump skin. Comes in a dark 50 gram jar. Has a 6 month use. I like the lightness of the cream. Have used every night for 10 days. My skin feels hydrated and nourished. I woke up with hydrated skin. Looking fresher and more dewy. My fine lines appear to be more refined. I have some pigmentation on my cheeks. One side more prominent than other and it appears to have slightly faded. I love this night cream. At $35 it’s a bargain and is up there some of the more expensive brands. Will continue using this cream. Highly recommend.

I’ve been hearing some pretty positive reviews about Glow Lab Skin Care of late. I’ve never tried anything from the brand, so when I received this I was really excited to give it a try. Glow Lab Age Renew Recovery Night Cream is presented in a 50g amber coloured glass jar with a rose gold screw tip lid. The cream has a soft citrusy kind of scent, but it is not overpowering and doesn’t linger on the skin. The cream has a whipped like consistency. It absorbed my skin really quickly, and did not leave behind any greasy residue. A little goes a long way, so I think the jar would last you for quite some time. I’ve only been using this for a couple of weeks, but my skin is feeling really soft and hydrated. I use it all over my face, neck and décolletage. I really love how there’s no nasties in Glow Labs products, and they do not test on Animals. I’d absolutely recommend this for anyone who’s skin is on the dry side, but it might be a bit heavy if you have oily skin. I am really enjoying using this moisturiser, and I fully intend to explore the Glow Lab range further.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Kassalee from Affordable and Effective Restorative Night Cream Received the Glow Lab Age Renew® Recovery Night Cream at the Glosscars 2020 Event and have been using it for 3 weeks. Keen to use their Night Cream after having used the Glow Lab Facial Moisturiser which I loved. 50g tub comes boxed and the packaging is very appealing.The glass jar is dark amber with a lovely rose gold screw top cap but mine didn’t seem to sit straight when screwed closed – like it was cross threaded – however it was still sealed. The cream is pure white and a light almost fluffy/mousse-like texture. First smell instantly reminded me of the Ponds cold cream my mother used when I was a child! It had a luxurious feel when I applied it to my skin and feels very moisturizing and nourishing and I probably have been using too much as I love how it feels! I applied it to my face and neck continuing down to my décolletage. I’m in my late 50’s and not sure if it will take my skin back to that of a young adult (still get occasional break outs!) but I have noticed an overall improvement in my skin since using this every night for the past 3 weeks. I love waking up with lovely soft and hydrated skin. I do love that it is a blend of active anti-ageing ingredients along with super-hydrating botanicals, shea butter and jojoba oils to soften skin and contains NO Parabens Sulphates Phthalates Silicones SLS/Sles Synthetic Dyes Cocoamide Dea, Mineral Oil and NO Animal Testing. Very affordable price and with availability at selected Woolworths, Priceline and Big W stores, I’ll be keeping a look out for when it’s on special as it’s a product I will continue to use.

I love the day cream and now I love Glow Lab Age Renew® Recovery Night Cream (Actually I intend on wearing the night cream as a day cream in the cooler months of winter as my skin is responding well to this product and then it also goes one up on my list as a day and night cream- gotta love a multi-tasker)) I just loved the gentle smell and the glide on feel of the cream. My skin just bathed in the luxury and soaked it all in. My skin did feel softer after a few weeks of use. Unfortunately, I saw no real difference in the depth/degree of facial wrinkles. I felt my cheeks seemed more "plump" as advertised, but no smoothing of fine lines and wrinkles for me, maybe I needed more time, maybe my damage is done- I am thinking the latter. I am guessing my skin is responding well to the botanical shea butter and jojoba oils which must be responsible for the softer feel to the skin on my forehead. I'll be purchasing again and I think the price is right on target for this product.

I always make sure to run through my skincare routine before bed and I have a passion for good night creams. Glow Lab says that this cream will improve the skin's density by up to 70% after 4 weeks of use. It includes Shea butter and jojoba oils to help soften the skin, plus ingredients to help make your skin more supple and improve it's elasticity. The cream has a very light texture. It has a botanical type scent that's very subdued and one I found to be pleasant. My skin delighted in the application of this product, and I can honestly say that even though I have been through the wringer in my personal life of late, my skin is looking wonderful. I did a little research and discovered that at the moment this product can be purchased at Big W for 50% off. That certainly makes it a bargain, and worth your consideration if you are looking for a new Night Cream. I would happily continue using this product. Very well priced and awesome for my sensitive skin.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Yohanna from Just a moisturizer...that does its job. Got this moisturizer at Glosscars 2020. Smoothie of many great skin nourishing ingredients! For such a low price. Impressed. And packaging is perfect too. Dark brown glass with rose gold lid. Want to go boujee for such a good price? There it is. Even though this is a formula very rich in plant fats (main is shea butter and then other plant oils) it feels almost 'fluffy' when applying onto the skin. Melts away and leaves skin nourished and protected all night long. I use it all over the face, eye area included. As I use serums that can be dehydrating or harsh (retinol etc), this cream helps to protect delicate eye area and the face. It is gentle with very faint pleasant scent that goes away quickly. I wake up in the morning with the juicy skin. My skin is oily if not using skincare, to combo, prone to dehydration, huge pores. This moisturizer keeps the things balanced and does not luckily make me break out even though it is rich in butters and oils. No whiteheads that I would usually get when using rich skincare. Besides plant fats , the formula contains Phytosterols (L22) that is great for keeping skin barrier restored, lipid level like that of a young 20 year old apparently. Also popular Matrixyl in anti ageing formulations. Thank you BH for giving the opportunity to try it as a part the Glosscars Event. I like the packaging and the little dark jar is really fancy with a rose gold lid. Its easy to screw and unscrew the lid. I have been using it very night after cleaning my face, it has a light mouse like texture. I like the smell with is a mixture of sweet and citrus scents. It might be too strong for those who do not prefer fragrance in their products. My skin definitely feels different it feel like the elasticity has improved and feel rejuvenated. A wonderful product with no parabens, silicones etc.

I use it after cleansing, toning and using serums. It gives you a lovely glow and soft skin feeling. It also smells pleasant. Overall, a great night time essential product

Rated 5 out of 5 by Marclaire from Hydrating and fragrant Glow Lab products are new to me. I was interested to find out about this product at the latest Glosscars event. The Glow Lab Age Renew Recovery Night Cream is made in New Zealand, is not tested on animals, is vegan friendly and is a blend of natural and scientific ingredients. The night cream comes in a cream box with a copper coloured and red stripe on the front. The cream itself comes in a 50g amber coloured glass jar with a copper lid with the matching stripes on the jar. Inside the jar is another lid to protect the cream. The night cream is white in colour and has a light creamy consistency. The fragrance is not over-powering and doesn’t linger once the cream is applied. Some of the ingredients are shea butter, jojoba oils and vitamin C - to soften skin and improve hydration. I find the Glow Lab night cream easily absorbs into my face and neck. Just massage in with light upward strokes. A little of this cream goes a long way. The consistency of the Glow Lab night cream is not as thick as other night creams I have used but I feel that this has not affected the performance of this cream. My skin feels smooth, soft and hydrated in the mornings and I’m sure that with continued use, that this cream will keep improving my skin and have a positive effect on my wrinkles.

I have never tried GLOW LAB products before, although I have heard of them. I’ve tried this for almost 2 week now, every evening. My skin is reacting with it very well. I think the smell is quite pleasant. Not too strong for an overnight cream. The main thing I love about this AGE RENEW RECOVERY NIGHT CREAM is the things it doesn’t contain. NO Parabens, Sulphates, Phthalates, Silicones, SLS/Sles, Synthetic Dyes, Cocoamide Dea, Mineral Oil and NO Animal Testing. It is a lovely rich cream when applied as the last spec at night, professes to Boost Collagen, Reduce Wrinkles, Accelerate repair and increase Skin Elasticity 70% Wow! More time will tell, but as for now I’m happy with how my skin is reacting to this cream. The 50gm tub will last for ages. Such a fabulous price range too.

Straight away I loved the souffle-like texture of this night cream. It's got a fluffy whipped sort of feel to it - so it's a modern type of night cream. I also love it's scent which reminds of a mixture of honey and citrus scents - but it's a very soft version of these scents. I've been using it close to two weeks now and I love the way it's making my skin feel pampered and hydrated. It really has aided my skin in a 'recovery' because of the way it seems to rehydrate my skin. My skin feels bouncier. It's full of vitamin C and my skin responds really well to that ingredient and also to the other ingredients that Glow Lab have put into this beautiful night cream. I use it over the top of a serum as I really try to dose up my face while I sleep, though it's potent enough to use just on it's own too. I love the way I wake up and my skin looks refreshed, balanced and hydrated. It's a vegan formula and I think that agrees with me too. This is actually made in NZ and is cruelty free. Yay! It comes in a glass pot which is a dark colour which I believe helps to preserve the ingredients well. It has a rose gold metallic lid. I have been loving using this all over my neck, decollatage, face (including my entire eyes area too). It spreads easily. I'm at the age where I feel I need to pamper my whole neck and decolletage as well as my face during the night. This also promises to accelerate repair which I believe it does as I have had two pimples while using this but they are healing fast and I think much faster than normal. I love that it promises to boost collagen - I can always do with more of that!!

I am getting towards 40, and this moisturiser is made for older skin, so has been great. I have been applying every night, and my skin does feel moisturiser and more dewy after I apply it. The cream has a lovely citrus smell which I like and the next morning, my skin does feel softer. I would definitely buy this cream after my trial, as it’s a great product.

I have used Glow Lab products before from their eye cream, day cream and gel cleanser. And I have to say this new night cream is amazing! The packaging is nice, really well thought. The cream has lovely scent, easy to apply and absorbs to my skin and left it feeling moisturise the whole night. I can feel the different straight away and my skin feel elastic and moist. The cream has new trade mark names I haven’t heard before like Bel-even, Synthe, Matrixyl , L22, etc which is great for the skin. I love how it feel and I will continue to purchase it.

Its a smooth cream that absorbs fast and easy into the skin. It increases skin elasticity by up to 70 %. Its dermatologically tested and made in New Zealand. I love that the packaging is recyclable. Use in the evening. Its a 50gram container which will last a while. I really like this product !

It’s also great how it was dermatologically tested. It has instructions on how to use the product. It had a lot of chemicals taken out which I thought was great! The box was very easy to store. The box was very easy to open. I loved the bronze colour of the lid. The container was very compact. The lid was also very easy to take off. The seal was also very easy to take off. The product was a very nice white colour. I really loved the scent as well. It was beautiful and lovely. I loved the cream. It had a really good thin consistency and very easy to run into the skin. It didn’t leave my skin feeling greasy either. It felt great! A great product!

It comes packaged in a cardboard box and inside is the glass pot of cream. After unscrewing the lid, there is an extra lid to lift covering the cream. The cream itself is thick in consistency and has a slight fragrance. I apply it very thickly to my face as it much drier in the colder season. I love the feeling it has on my skin and I wake up with very soft smooth skin.

The cream comes in a 50g jar and has a rich, nourishing texture that is great for my combination-dry skin. I quite like the beautiful rose gold lid which is very eye catching too. I have tried a few Glow Lab skincare products and have been quite pleased with the quality and affordable prices. This night cream is sightly more expensive, given that it's a bit more high tech. It contains unique ingredients; Bel-Even to improve skin elasticity and L22 to hydrate and re-balance the skin. I am also pleased that it contains vitamin C which I know is great for the skin. The texture is rich and nourishing, yet still buttery and soft to absorb well into the skin without causing a heavy, greasy feeling. There is a pleasant floral, rosewater scent, which is a little strong but non-irritating for my skin. I apply a small amount of this cream on my face and neck and find a little goes a long way. I have used this cream for a month every night and have only used less than 1/3 of the jar. Therefore it turns out to be good value as you don't need to use a lot for it to nourish and hydrate your skin. It leaves my skin really soft, smooth and silky even when I wake up the next day. My skin definitely feels well moisturised and hydrated when I use this cream, and I will consider purchasing it in the future.

Rated 4 out of 5 by preppa from Rich and creamy The Glow Lab Night Recovery Cream comes in a jar with a lid. The night cream feels rich, and creamy and smells of soft fragrance which I like. I apply it overnight and it leaves my skin softer and smoother. It hydrates my skin well and works to nourish and repair my skin with actives. It works well over serums, there's no balling or peeling. My only gripe is that I wish it had a pump packaging rather than the jar.

This is a ‘recovery’ night cream, made in New Zealand and is vegan and cruelty free. It claims to increase skin elasticity by 70%, boost collagen, reduce wrinkles and accelerate repair. There is also a Glow Lab night cream which is not in the age renew range. The off white cream is thick and smooth but absorbs quickly with no stickiness. It does have a smell but not that you’d notice much unless looking for it. It feels nice on the skin and you could put it in the fridge for an even fresher feel. I haven’t really been using it long enough to see any lasting effect but my skin does feel quite nice in the morning although it could be a little more hydrated. However I haven’t been using serum at night so I think if I did the hydration level would be fine. I will be interested to see if there are any long lasting effects when I have been using it for longer. It’s also great that it is free from lots of nasties. Currently this is half price in Big W (about $18) and at this price is worth buying. At the rrp I probably wouldn’t buy it unless it does end up having a longer lasting effect.

I have never tried this brand before, but I have seen their products around, so I was very curious to see what this cream would be like. The cream is designed to boost collagen, reduce wrinkles, increase skin elasticity and accelerate skin repair all while you sleep. It is vegan, cruelty free and does not contain any paraben, sulphates, phthalates, silicones, SLS/SLES, synthetic dyes or mineral oil. I love how natural this cream is, although this is reflected in its shelf life after opening which is 6 months. This is a great night time cream at a very affordable price point. I haven't used it long enough to be able to speak for long-term effects, but I will continue to use it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by GeeJ from Good moisturiser Thank you BH for gifting me this at the Glosscars. This is an affordable moisturiser, which comes in a nice looking jar. It is vegan and cruelty free, and does not contain any nasties. This moisturiser is a white cream that isn't very thick and is mildly scented. It sits well under my makeup and is quite hydrating, and thus my makeup does not cake when I wear this since I have quite dry skin. I like that is does not leave a sticky residue or my face looking greasy. I haven't been using this long enough to verify its anti-aging effects; however, it is a winner as a moisturiser. I think this will be an excellent moisturiser for the upcoming winter months and I will repurchase since this brand is often on sale.

This is another beautiful product that is made in New Zealand, it is dermatologically tested, cruelty free, vegan and recyclable - all giant positives. The cream itself has a light non-irritating fragrance and when I tested it first on the top of my hands I was amazed at the difference it made to the appearance of my aged skin there. Although the cream feels very rich it is not heavy or oily and gives a lovely sheen which looks so healthy and fresh on my face. I am very impressed with the instant lift to my skins appearance and although I haven't had a reduction in wrinkles my skin just looks better. I feel with continued and long term use there will be more visible results. The price is excellent and the cream comparable to products 3 times the price. Thank you BH for the opportunity to trial this lovely recovery night cream.

Rated 4 out of 5 by jupiter from Facial moisturiser with peptides and vitamin C I was given a jar of this moisturiser at the recent BeautyHeaven Glosscars event (thanks BH!). It is marketed for those seeking anti-aging benefits. Notable ingredients include: Shea Butter, Squalane, Vit E, Phytosterols, Glycerin, Vit C (from kakadu plum), Palmitoyl Tripeptide-38 (MATRIXYL synthe 6), plus plant oils and extracts. Not entirely sure why propanediol is shown as 'Bel-Even' with a trademark - this is nothing fancy, propanediol is just an inexpensive glycol that aids absorption. Same goes with 'SUPEROXC' when it's just kakadu plum extract - a natural source of Vitamin C. That aside, the moisturiser has a very smooth and airy texture that absorbs well and isn't greasy on my combination skin. It has a pleasant scent that isn't overpowering. I did not experience any irritation. It kept my face moisturised overnight. As I am already using peptide and Vitamin C serums, I did not expect to see much difference in terms of improving my skin, but the texture and scent are both lovely. This is a good choice for those who do not use targeted serums and are looking for a one-step night cream. It has a combination of natural and active ingredients. The peptides will encourage collagen production, and Vit C will have antioxidant and brightening effects.

For a supermarket brand night cream, this is a really quality product and right now is making me rethink where I buy my skincare products from. I love the texture of this cream, it is very silky and creamy but not at all heavy, oily or sticky. It has been great for my dry skin, it absorbs so well and in the morning my skin feels rejuvanated and looks very fresh. I love the subtle sweet scent, it is more citrusy and not floral and is subtle so that you will not notice it when you go to bed. The texture of this cream and the way it absorbs will fool you into thinking it is a much more expensive cream. The packaging is also really pretty and looks great!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Peach perfect from Value for money Glow Lab is one of those rare brands that delivers more than they make you pay for. While their products are so very affordable, the results are comparable to some of the elite brands. This night cream is no different. Packed in beautiful jar with golden lid is a night cream with silky light weight texture. It sinks in instantly, making skin feel hydrated and well moisturised. There is a pretty scent to this product but it's rather pleasant and very subtle. I didn't see a huge difference in skin texture but currently my skin is doing well so there weren't many problems to resolve to begin with. Since this night cream isn't heavy, if your skin is on the dry side, adding few drops of a good face oil would be a good idea. Alternatively you can also add a layer of rosehip oil to seal in all the goodness.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Gilded from Glossscars '20: Softens & Hydrates The Glow Lab Recovery Night cream comes in an amber glass jar with a bronze metal screw-on lid. I use a spatula to scoop out the product to avoid any cross contamination. I'm not too fond of the jar packaging as the product is exposed to light and air every time you open the jar. The night cream is a rich, opaque white, mildly white floral scented product. I just dot the cream all over my face and blend it in with my fingers. It absorbs quickly without any greasy residue. It hydrates and softens skin almost instantly. In the morning, I don't see any dry patches of skin around my face so this is a good hydrating cream. The recovery cream has a mix of actives. I'm not sure what Bel-Even or L22 are but I recognize matrixyl and Vitamin C as skin benefiting ingredients. I layer it over my serums at night and let it nourish and repair my skin overnight. The price is pretty good too for an anti aging night cream.

The facial night cream is a restorative blend designed to help with visible signs of ageing by reducing wrinkles while you sleep. Is said to boost collagen, accelerate skin repair and increase skin elasticity. The cream is used as the last step in nightly skincare routine. The cream is white with a thick consistency. Texture is smooth and rich. I don't mind the fragrance, smells like a blend of differing essential oils. To apply massage cream into face and neck with upward movements. I do not over apply the cream as a little goes a long way with my combination skin. If I apply to much my skin feels oily. Feels totally luxurious and moisturising although It does take time to absorb. Morning results are good with skin being soft and smooth. The cream works overnight to plump, nourish and rehydrate my skin which is definitely ageing. Continued use will hopefully see an improvement with my skins elasticity and wrinkles. Made in New Zealand I received Age Renew Recovery Night Cream to trial for the 2020 Glosscar Awards compliments of Beauty Heaven.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Ellyloves from Glow Lab’s Age Renee Night Cream I’ve used Glow Lab’s facial moisturiser and I really love it so I have high expectations of this product and it didn’t disappoint. It has the same lovely scent, it is very pleasant and not too strong for those that are sensitive to strong fragrances. I think the fragrance is Shea butter. The cream is a creamy consistency but not overly thick, it glides on my skin easily and leaves my skin feeling nourished and love. My skin looks healthy and I’m glowing.

My sister tried it out as well and loved it so she purchased one and then her friend tried it out, loved it and got one for herself as well so it made a huge impact! Seeing the new Glow Lab product at the recent Glosscars event was exciting as I wanted to see what new product they had brought out. The age renew recovery night cream comes in a jar and had the benefits listed on the jar which was to increase skin elasticity, boost collagen, reduce wrinkles and accelerates repair. The cream has a nice consistency, not too thick yet not runny so only a small amount was enough for me. It has nourishing ingredients that moisturise the skin like shea butter, coconut oil, jojoba oil, macadamia seed oil and vitamin C. The good thing is that despite the oils in the product it didn't feel oily at all or leave my skin feeling greasy or with a sticky residue. It absorbs really easily and in the morning my skin feels soft and plump.

Glow lab is a fairly recent discovery for me,but it is becoming a favourite..despite it's deceptively low cost. I love skincare,and am prepared to pay heavily for it ("supermarket" brands are rarely on my radar,as i am at an age when some "St Ives and a little Neutrogena" won't cut it at all),but Glow Lab Age Renew Recovery Night Cream has somewhat swayed me. This rich textured,non coloured,subtly scented cream is rich enough to feel good on,but not so much that i feel "suffocated" by it.The powerful peptides (Matrixyl®, Synthe 6 etc) work to reduce those pesky lines,whilst the texture helps to soothe the skin (my hubby loved this post shave,and is still using it now),and at under $40 for a 50gm jar (a stunning amber glass jar with a bronze hued lid),this "just about local",NZ made skincare is sure to become a regular addition to your bathroom cabinet.
