General Information

This foaming anti-ageing cleanser is formulated with Polyhydroxy Acids (PHAs) including 8% Gluconolactone and 0.5% Maltobionic Acid to remove makeup and debris from pores, enhancing skin texture and clarity, and preparing skin for the Skin Active regime to follow. A concentrated botanical complex of aloe, camomile, cucumber and rosemary extracts help refresh and revitalise. It effectively removes oil and make-up without over-drying
and is formulated to balance the skin's pH. Soap-free, fragrance-free.

In a clinical study where users used the Skin Active regimen including Exfoliating Wash, Matrix Support, Cellular Restoration and Intensive Eye Therapy, users noticed the following after 16 weeks:

Directions

I also like that it comes in a pump form its a perfect gentle basic wash to use daily! Not my first time using a glycolic wash so no tingling for me (light tingling sensation is expected when youre new to exfoliation) but, for me - no breakouts, no stripping and no dry skin sensation either! Huge plus to this glycolic wash! Ill definitely purchase this when I finish with this

It is foaming, but didn't feel like it was stripping the skin at all and gave a really thorough clean. It has a slight smell, but it isn't perfumed and isn't off-putting at all. It also didn't sting my eyes, which was a great plus. I will definitely be repurchasing.

I’ve noticed that this cleanser does a great job getting my pores squeaky clean without drying out my skin. It’s a fine balance and this cleanser definitely hits the mark for me.

I have struggled to find a good exfoliating wash for as long as i can remember because i have dry skin. Almost every exfoliating wash that i tried made my skin all the more dry and caused tiny red spots around my nose being my sensitive areas on the face (signs of over exfoliation too). Thats why i stopped using exfoliating washes. But this one was an absolute treat. It didnt dry out my skin. I was a bit hesitant to try it out due to my bad experiences with the other exfoliating washes but i was amazed how it was so gentle yet so effective. It has a mousse like texture that removed my waterproof and maximum coverage makeup in an instance. I think im hooked onto this. Thank you Influenster for introducing me to this brand. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So Ive been using this face wash for a few weeks now, straight after I used a makeup removing balm. As soon as you pop the foam onto your skin you can feel the active ingredients going to work to remove dead cells. It feels slightly tingly but leaves your skin beautifully cleansed and not dry. Only reason I didnt give 5 stars is because I feel like because its foam you can over use easily and price vs longevity isnt a winner for me.

Being a foam cleanser it is super gentle on the skin and leaves my skin feeling brighter and clean. It is really good for my lash extensions as well as it is a gentle formula. I would definitely recommend this product to someone who is wanting a gentle cleanser, especially if they are a dry skin type.
