General Information

Elucent Anti Ageing Serum is a highly concentrated formula with 16% AHAs. The two AHAs (Lactic Acid & Glycolic Acid) work to visibly reduce the signs of ageing by gently exfoliating & promoting younger looking skin.

The key ingredients across the Elucent range, AHAs (Alpha Hydroxy Acids) are exfoliating and moisturising compounds. AHAs remove dry, dead skin through chemical exfoliation, helping to reveal visibly smoother and younger-looking skin. As more dead skin cells are shed, the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles is reduced. Complemented with scientifically selected vitamins, Elucent will help achieve younger, healthy looking skin.

AHAs may make your skin more sensitive to sunlight. Now, more than ever, it is essential to guard your youthful skin. Elucent Anti-Ageing Day Moisturiser contains an SPF 30 broad-spectrum sunscreen to help protect against UVA & UVB radiation while the AHAs continue to work on helping to improve the appearance of the skin. Protect your skin by avoiding prolonged sun exposure. Do not stay too long in the sun, even while using a sunscreen product. To further the reduce risk of sun damage or premature ageing, cover up with clothing, hats & eyewear.

Ingredients

Directions

It is important to begin slowly by introducing the lowest level of AHAs to the skin before moving to the higher levels. Apply to areas prone to fine lines and wrinkles on the face and neck after cleansing. Avoid contact with eyes and irritated skin. Mild and temporary tingling may occur.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very fortunate to have been on a trial for the Elucent Anti Ageing Serum plus two other Elucent products. That was eight months ago and since then I have continued to use the Anti Ageing Serum in my skincare routine. I loved this serum from the start and I was able to use it every second night without it irritating my skin even though the serum contains the highest levels of AHA in the Elucent range at 16 per cent. I also just started off using the serum on targeted areas, but I now use it all over my face. The serum comes in a small 30ml tube but only a small amount is needed because the serum smooths easily over the skin. One small tube lasts for months. This serum has definitely changed the appearance and texture of my skin which is why I continue to use it. My skin is so much brighter, and the pigmentation has been reduced which I credit to the Vitamin C in this serum. My skin is also much smoother, and the fine lines and wrinkles are far less visible.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Effective Serum [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thank you BH for giving me the opportunity to try the Anti Ageing Serum from Elucent. I have been using it for over 4 weeks in conjunction with the Elucent face wash and night cream. I have been using it in the morning after washing my face, you only require a small quantity of the serum to be applied. It comes in a tube and its easy to dispense. Initially I felt a bit of tingling sensation on the skin but over time my skin got used to it. I did not have any adverse reaction or irritation to the serum considering it has high dose of the Vitamins. The serum leaves your skin soft and firm not only after each use but over a period of time you notice that the fine lines and wrikles have also started to reduce. My skin felt healthy, soft, younger and smooth. Totally love this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Potent serum [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This serum actually works. That's probably because it has such a high degree of AHAs at 16% along with the same combination vitamins (B3 and 5, C and E) that the rest of the range contains. It also contains something called Centipeda cunninghamii, an Australian perennial herb with anti-inflammatory properties. I have only been using it twice a week, and along with the night cream and face wash, so it's hard to pinpoint which of the products has caused such an impact but I would think it would be this serum given its potency. In spite of the strength, and in spite of my fairly sensitive skin, I have had no irritation from this and even used a tiny bit on a little pimple that was coming up and found it cleared it immediately. What it has done is bring me up in a flush that lasts to the next day. To my mind that's a benefit as I love the rosy glow (my daughter asked me what blush I was using), but it might not suit everyone's skin tone. This isn't the cheapest product on the market but I think, given you don't need much at all, that it's a worthwhile investment that really seems to have improved the overall quality of my skin.
