General Information

Azclear Action Foaming Wash, for the control of pimples and acne.

It is a gentle foaming cleanser that removes dirt, oil and bacteria, leaving the skin clean and refreshed. Suitable for acne-prone skin. It is also suitable for shaving.

The dispenser for this face wash pumps out a super-fluffy foam, making it easy to distribute over the skin. Sadly, I’m still suffering the occasional breakout, despite being a long, long way past my teenage years. I’ve also developed rosacea on my cheeks. This wash manages to keep both at bay, as well as reducing the redness from rosacea. It can leave my normally oily skin a little dry though, but that’s easily remedied with a hydrating toner & serum afterwards. I follow that with the Azclear medicated lotion (also a winner!) and this combo is really working for me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Rewards Room product I had not heard of this brand before but I saw it in the Rewards Room for June 2021. I am happy I got the foaming cleanser. It is great for people like me that like to use in the shower. I do double cleanse though to get rid of the daily muck and grime. I like the pump action bottle and my skin is not irritated in the slightest. Some cleansers I will get tingly and red irritation from not AZCLEAR. I didn’t even know it was for pimples and acne until I read the bottle! I will use when I get one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Finally a product that works ! I was recommended this product by my doctor. I waa sceptical as I’ve tried so many different cleansers over the years. I’m so glad I gave it a go as my skin has improved so much in the last year since I’ve been using it and I’ve actually had compliments about how good my skin is looking :-) I’ve recommended it to a couple of friends and they were happy with it too. I’m keen to try other products in the Azclear range, so happy that this product works and is affordable.

I didn’t truly believe her until I purchased it and tried it for myself... I should have never doubted her, because it is amazing! My skin feels thoroughly cleansed and softer. Will definitely repurchase

After I stopped taking my pills for my skin due to personal reasons, sadly, my hormones went berserk and affected my facial skin drastically. My adult acne and pimples began to pop out and brought me back to feeling insecure. I ended up buying acne treatments again! I also thought of using products that I previously used (e.g sk-ll proactive, avene, tea tree oil, Korean skincares) but my skin is so stubborn that the meds weren't really working. Was looking for an affordable alternative on chemist warehouse website and found this brand.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Essential part of my routine This year I had a recurrence of adult acne. It's the worst. My skin was dry/flaky, red, and had a lot of bumps and blemishes. I was reluctant to use proactiv again so I looked around for alternative solutions for adults Once I started using the AzClear system (this wash and the medicated lotion) I could see a difference within one week. The redness reduced very quickly. After 4 weeks my skin looked smooth and had an even tone. I'm 6 weeks in now and my skin tone looks better than it did before the acne appeared The combo of these two products never dries out my skin, and never makes it oily. It's very well balanced. I am so so happy with the results!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Minimises acne I’ve used this for 2 years, at times switching to other cleansers then back to this. I find that it does lessen your acne but hasn’t cleared it completely I still have quite a lot around my chin and forehead and it has never completely gone.I think the key is using the cleanser daily. The foam is really nice, I have sensitive skin and it doesn’t irritate my skin at all. It is really good cleanser though and definitely works just maybe don’t expect a complete removal of acne. That being said it is my current cleanser that I’m using. It’s definitely the most effective acne cleanser so if you’re in need of a product to help combat acne definitely give this a go first!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A great gentle cleanser I really enjoyed using this gentle foam cleanser on my combo, acne-prone skin. the cleanser comes in a nice pump bottle, with a pump delivering a decent amount of foam to use on the whole face. Since receiving I have used this both in the Am and Pm. I found the foam cleanser to be gentle on my skin and easy to rinse off. It does have a mild scent but nothing too strong. After rinsing off my skin feels soft and hydrated not stripped. Also, this has helped to keep my acne at bay, not entirely stopped it but still helped to keep it calm. Personally I wouldn't use this after makeup, as it is a very gentle cleanser, would use after a cleansing oil and also occasionally use a face scrub when in need for exfoliation. This cleanser doesn't do a good job at removing makeup. Overall a great cleanser in my routine that has helped my acne and hasn't made my skin oily but has helped with sebum.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Squeaky Clean Skin I bought a bottle of Azclear Action Foaming Wash from the Beautyheaven Rewards Room using my points. I'm always keen to try new Aussie brands. At 55, my skin is less oily than in my youth but still blemish-prone. I used this cleanser for a month & have had no zits in that time! Like foaming hand wash, the bottle contains liquid, yet the dispenser pumps out a dollop of white froth. It tingles when applied to my skin - in a good way - I think it's from the bubbles. I usually use this face wash with my Dermasonic+ Cleansing Device, but I tried it a few times when cleansing by hand. One pump is enough to clean my skin, leaving it squeaky. I favoured squeaky clean skin in my twenties, but now I know it can be too harsh & exacerbate oiliness. It seems tricky to rinse off without feeling like it leaves a residue. I scrub hard with a flannel to get it all off. Although this cleanser is effective & the feeling of residue didn't aggravate my skin, I just don't like that feeling, so I would not repurchase. Made in Australia. There's no PAO jar symbol to show how long it should last once opened, so I reckon it should last all the way till the expiry date. The dates of manufacture & expiry are on the base of the bottle - 5 long years! Rated 2 out of 5 by from Action Foaming Wash I have moderate acne that comes and goes throughout the month, meaning that I always need to have a facial cleanser that is targeted at acne on hand. I feel like I've tried almost every acne product on the market at least once with varying degrees of success. Unfortunately, this foaming facial wash was not effective for me and I found that although perhaps slightly minimised, my acne remained overall during use. This facial wash is also a foam, which overall I'm not a huge fan of - for this one in particular I found it to be very light and barely seemed to penetrate or touch the skin. It had a very mild chemical-type fragrance but not enough to put me off using the product. This seems to work for others with acne, so obviously just didn't gel with my skin.
