Directions

Use the CeraVe Foaming Cleanser for oily skin as the first step in your skin care routine. This oil free cleanser can also be used as a full body wash.
Rinse face or body with lukewarm water and massage the cleanser onto your skin in a gentle, circular motion.
Wash off the cleanser from face and body
For best results, follow with application of the CeraVe AM Facial Moisturising Lotion SPF 15 in the morning and PM Facial Moisturising Lotion in the evening.

I have used it every day for the last couple of years. It is also good at removing makeup however I do like to use a facial cloth to remove the bulk of makeup and then use this. If I use it on a full face of makeup I find you don't get a great foam and would need to do a second cleanse. For the price point too, I don't think you can go past the Cerave range. The variety of sizes it comes it makes it ideal to travel with and I like that you can turn the handle of the pump to close it off so no leakage

This cerave foaming cleanser is very gentle and feels like a luxury to put foam on my face to wake me up in the morning. Absolutely love it. It comes in a cute bottle. The pump is also very easy to use and you only need 1 pump to wash the face. Goes a long way. My face feels nice and clean after using it. I also let my girls use it and they love it I recommend it to anyone including people with sensitive skin

My acne seems to come and go, and even the slightest inconvenience makes me break out. CeraVe does a great job at not over-stripping my skin barrier and keeping my skin clear. I loved that this contains Ceramides, Hyaluronic Acids and Niacinamide. Other expensive brands do not do that and this is so affordable! What I liked especially was how this cleanser was able to clean and refresh my face while still being gentle. In my experience using this product, I have experienced many pros. The main purpose of this product is that it cleanses and remove oil without disrupting the protective skin barrier. Although this is the main purpose of this product it also helps calm your skin, retains the skin’s natural moisture, and is a refreshing gel as well. In general, I love this product and recommend it. The product did everything it’s designed to do so, therefore, I don’t have any cons about this product. Overall, I would most definitely recommend this product to people who have acne. I have been using this cleanser day and night for a few weeks now along with the CeraVe Blemish control gel and I have seen a improvement in my skin, I like that the cleanser foams up and I am able to easily wash my face. I also use the CeraVe Blemish Cleanser before I started using this foaming cleaner, I do have very oily skin so it’s nice to find a cleanser that I can wash my face confidently with and not be dry or flaky! I love CeraVe and a good foaming cleanser and this product did not disappoint! I have combination oily skin and a daily facial cleanser is a must for me. I used this product every morning and night and was pleased with the results. It didn’t over dry my skin or break me out. It removed my makeup at the end of the day (although I did cleanse twice to ensure it really got everything). I like the foaming aspect, the pump did release a lot of product though but it didn’t bother me that much as I was able to work it into my face and neck. It’s great that the formula is fragrance- and colourant-free. I did also find it good to travel with as it is a generous sized bottle with a pump, but you are able to lock the pump by turning it. Overall I would recommend this product to anyone who has oily skin and is looking for a cleaner that doesn’t over dry skin.

I don't love the packaging. It's very clinical and doesn't look luxe but the product in itself is the show stopper. I enjoyed using this product. I used it twice a day and found it really did the job. It removed my makeup and any dirt on my skin. I don't have sensitive skin (I have a normal complexion) and found it worked really well with my skin type. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Excellent product, I have used the creme cleanser in the same brand and I definitely like this gel formular better. I used it with my hands, which worked great, but it wqs also fantastic with mt Foreo, as it foams up and provides a deep cleanse. Great for easily irritated or sensitive skin as there is no fragrance and it does not dry skin out. Face feels clean but not tight or dry after use. Excellent for everyday and/or mutiple times a day as it is very gentle. I liked to use my regular oil cleanser first and then this with my Foreo for my second cleanse, really made my skin feel clean and smooth. Very cost effective for the large size bottle and hygenic application with the pump so would gladly share product with my husband - so great for families and sharing without contamination issues. I do love a luxury smelling product, this cleanser has absolutely no smell, so that may be a downside for some people, but as I use 2 cleansers, it wasn't an issue for me. Would definitley recommend to friends and family, especially if they have sensitive skin.

Easy pump bottle to access in the shower or at the sink when doing my night time routine, only needed a small amount that when you lather it in your hands it really goes a long way, the product smells nice too which is always something good when you are applying directly on your face. Did a great job of removing all my makeup that I had been wearing all day, removed it very easily and left my skin feeling really refreshed and clean! I noticed after 2 weeks of using this product that my skin was looking a lot cleaner and I'm not getting many imperfections now so I know this cleanser is really cleaning my pores. I will definitely continue to purchase this cleanser as it is now my fave!

The consistency of this cleanser is delightful, and foams well. I did find (only because I'm a more regular user of the other) that the Cream to Foaming Cleanser foamed a bit more than this Gel to Foam counterpart but they are both brilliant. The Foaming Cleanser goes on easily, with no fragrance and had no issues with sensitive skin. I used it daily for 4 weeks and had a marked difference in clearness, cleanliness, brightness and hydration. A super product for an all round cleansing experience. Easy to use and not much product needed at all to get great coverage.

Despite most foaming cleansers being drying and stripping on the skin, this formula did not. With a creamy and light texture, this cleanser is easy to use with a pump bottle and lathers onto the skin well. The ‘foam’ is much more of a creamy lather and it worked well to cleanse the skin. The formula was easy to rinse off and I found my skin to feel cleansed and fresh. It was not dry, stripped or irritated. For the price, it’s a great daily cleanser.

However, as someone with very dry skin, it did dry me out a bit, although not too severely. Surprisingly, my husband, who also has dry skin, had no issues with it, and it didn't dry out or break out his skin. The reason I give it 5 stars still is that it does indicate normal to oily skin on the packaging. Therefore, I would recommend this cleanser to those with normal to oily skin, but not to those with dry or very dry skin. It's effective in cleansing, but be cautious if you're prone to dryness.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Noticeable Results A+ [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited to start using this cleanser upon hearing I have been selected to try the product - I had heard good things about the brand and was looking forward to testing for myself. My daily routine is to cleanse in the morning prior to applying makeup and then again in the evening after removing makeup, to wash the day away. The packaging is simple and easy to grip in one hand whilst the pump dispenses just enough to apply to your face. The gel itself feels ‘grippy’ once I start massaging in a circular motion into my face; I did enjoy this because it didn’t feel like it was sliding all over my face and I was able to apply consistently across my whole facial area. The product lathers up (rather than foams) nicely, but not bubbly and soapy like some products. CeraVe Foaming Cleanser is then easy to wash off, which is when I apply my day/night moisturiser. The cleanser does not leave my face feeling dry immediately washing off, it does feel very clean and refreshed after use though. It has a neutral smell and is clear in colour, which is comforting to know that no artificial scents have been added to the product. Usually, after cleansing, I would need to wipe a makeup pad across my face to ensure all residue has been wiped away prior to applying moisturiser. However, with CeraVe Cleanser, I have been able to omit the secondary wipe over as it appears to remove all makeup traces in the first application. After now using for 4-weeks, I can confidently say that I have seen a positive change in a reduction of the number of blemishes I have been getting on my face. I think I have found a new favourite cleanser! I already have recommended to family and friends by sharing my experience with CeraVe Foaming Cleanser. The product is very reasonably priced and I can foresee one bottle lasting a long time, due to the small amount required to take care of the job! Overall, I am very happy with the results. Using the product has left my skin visibly clearer and always refreshed after using!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gentle cleanser that gets the job done [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a simple and gentle cleanser that gets the job done without stripping the skins natural oils and I have never had any problems with it drying my skin out. I have sensitive skin and this does not irritate it at all. I normally double cleanse as part of my skin care routine and this is perfect as a second cleanser (I normally use a cleansing balm for my first step). It comes at an affordable price point and I also love travelling with it as well as it has a lock mechanism at the pump. Would recommend this cleanser for general every day use and I’m happy to repurchase again

This cleanser comes in a white, plastic, basic bottle with a pump dispenser. The pump is easy to use, and is easy to dispense product at the desired amount - whether that is a little or a lot. The product is a good size, for an excellent price, and I like that you can buy larger sizes and still keep budget-friendly. It is fragrance free, and pumps out in a gel. The gel foams easily and quickly on the face, and develops into a gentle, smaller foam to cleanse the skin. I love this product as it is gentle enough to not dry out the skin, but still clean your skin! I love using this foaming cleanser as I do at least two cleanses to make sure I remove all of my sunscreen off my face. This cleanser cleans off any leftover makeup, sunscreen, and oils from my skin. It has ceramides which help maintain the skin barrier that is so important for protecting your skin. After washing off the cleanser, your skin feels clean but not tight or uncomfortable, and it does not feel dry. I have used it every day for a few weeks now and have noticed that my skin has been clear and nourished after cleansing! I will definitely continue to use this cleanser long term. It's a great basic cleanser, which allows for adding the ingredients you want in serums, toners, moisturisers afterwards.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using CeraVe Foaming Cleanser for the past 3 weeks and I am so impressed with the results. I have combination skin, which means that I can get oily in the T-zone and dry in the cheeks. This cleanser has been very effective at removing excess oil and dirt from my skin, without making it feel dry or tight. I liked the ingredients in CeraVe Foaming Cleanser. The cleanser contains three essential ceramides which help to restore the skin's natural barrier. It also contains hyaluronic acid, which helps to hydrate the skin. After using CeraVe Foaming Cleanser for 3 weeks, my skin feels noticeably softer, smoother, and more hydrated. I would definitely purchase this cleanser again and I would highly recommend it to others. It is a gentle yet effective cleanser that is perfect for all skin types including sensitive skin.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Finally a Great Foaming cleanser [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The 236ML Cerave Foaming cleanser was gentle on the skin for normal to oily skin.As i have skin allergies i did a spot test on the skin to make sure i wouldn't have a reaction to the product. I applied in the morning and night massaging onto wet skin then rinsing very well. For me this product was fantastic and very suitable for my skin under my nose near my mouth is always really really dry and it doesn't matter what mositouriser or oil i use on there it never improves. I used this product for the whloe trial period every morning and night and the results for me personally were absolutely incredible the dryness of my skin really improved and it left my skin feeling cleansed and refreshed.I would deffintely reccomend the Cereve Foaming cleanser into your morning and night routines.

Its not too abrasive or drying for oily skin. Ongoing use helps to draw out build up under the skin. I feel like it didn’t just help me with a short term break out but it also helped to clear my pores up overall. I have quite sensitive skin also and can have reactions to some acne products. My skin felt clean but supple too after washing and even better after a light moisturiser. I recommend this product for oily skin gals like me who often find Nutragena or Clearasil too intense.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great staple [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my favourite everyday cleanser as it is really effective in cleansing my skin and doesn’t leave it feeling too dry or tight so it’s gentle to use both morning and night. My pores are noticeably smaller and my skin tone looks more even after using it. I also love that it doesn’t have a fragrance because sometimes my skin gets irritated from overly fragrances skincare products which is most of the market lately. The fact it’s so affordable is a bonus too you can find it in most chemists and is often on sale.
