OPTIFAST Program is intended for use as part of the management of people who are obese or overweight when there is associated secondary pathology e.g. non-insulin dependent diabetes, hypertension, osteoarthritis, hypothyroidism corrected by replacement therapy, gynaecological disorders, hyperlipidaemia or where obesity is an impediment to surgery.

Directions

Add one sachet of OPTIFAST VLCD to 200-250mL of cold or warm water. Stir, blend or shake to dissolve. Do not use boiling water. All prepared products should be tightly covered and consumed within 4 hours at room temperature or within 24 hours if refrigerated. Note: Discard any unfinished product that has been heated.

Well, I have been pleasantly surprised after a friend recommended OptiFast to me and suggested I try it blitzed with water and ice. The result is a thickshake! I like all of the flavours but coffee probably had the weekest taste so next time I'll add some coffee granules to it.

I found Optislim had the strange chemical taste, while optifast didn’t. Optifast seemed to have a thicker consistency and more filling. Have gone back for a box of vanilla that I mix with coffee for breakfast and a chocolate as I am a chocoholic. I did enjoy the strawberry as my third favourite flavour. Was definitely worth the extra money.

I've been replacing evening meals with Optifast and eating healthy food the rest of the day but only when I feel hungry, not because it's time. I've lost almost 4kgs in 4 weeks without exercising as I've had surgery and can't exercise for a while. Looking forward to Optifast still helping once I can start exercising again.

A lot of reviewers also mentioned they didn’t like the taste of some of the flavours. I actually love all of them! I am in the second week of the 12 week intense VLCD program and have lost 6kg so far. I find that the shakes suppress my hunger and fill me up. Very happy and very impressed! You won’t find them cheaper anywhere else either. Trust me - I’ve looked. But the price is worth it in my opinion.
