General Information

Previously a treatment only available in salons, Decolour Stripper uses a safe, gentle pigment removal powder to remove both natural and artificial colour pigments.Taking less than and hour, this unique formula creates a lighter base which can be effectively and immediately recoloured. It's an ideal method if you want to change dark hair to blonde or red, or simply achieve a lighter brunette result than your current shade.

Warnings

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS:

This product is intended for use on persons over the age of 16.

Please follow all enclosed instructions carefully.

PLEASE CONDUCT A SKIN TEST 48 HOURS PRIOR TO USING THIS PRODUCT.

Product contains sulphites.

Avoid contact with eyes.

Rinse eyes immediately with cold water and seek medical assistance if product contact occurs.

Do not use on eyebrows or eyelashes.

Always wear gloves supplied.

Do not use if your hair has been coloured with Henna or metallic salts.

The use of Henna after this product is not recommended.

Protect clothes and upholstery from product as discolouration will occur.

Keep out of reach of children.

Common Uses

Decolour Stripper uses an ultra kind lightener with no ammonia and contains the lowest levels of peroxide found in a lightening produ

Precision conditioning 'non-drip' cream allows you to effectively apply to the roots with ease.

Unique Decolour Stripper formula ensures hair cuticle and internal fibres are not damaged or destroyed.

Hair can be effectively re-coloured immediately after the stripping process is complete

Unique formula protects hair lipid levels and retains hair condition.

Can be used twice in succession on very dark base to ensure effective transition to a lighter or blonde shade.

Ingredients

Part 1 De-Pigmenting Powder: Potassium Persulfate, Sodium Silicate, Sodium Persulfate, Sodium Metasilicate, Hydrated Silica, Cyamopsis Tetragonolobus Gum, Silica, Magnesium Carbonate, Cyclodextrin, Tetrasodium EDTA, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, Parfum (Fragrance).

Part 2 Developer Cream: Aqua (Water), Hydrogen Peroxide (6%), Cetearyl Alcohol, PEG-40 Castor Oil, Cetrimonium Chloride, Methylparaben, Citric Acid, Tetrasodium EDTA, Disodium EDTA, Oxyquinoline Sulfate.

Part 3 Conclude Balm: Aqua (Water), Cetyl Alcohol, Cetrimonium Chloride, Hydrolyzed Soy Protein, PEG-8 Glyceryl Laurate, PEG-15 Cocopolyamine, Parfum (Fragrance), Citric Acid, Methylparaben, Linalool, Hexyl Cinnamal.

Directions

Empty De Pigmenting Powder into the Developing Crème Bottle. Shake for 30 Seconds.

Apply stripper cream to damp, freshly washed towel dried hair. Start with mid-lengths and ends of hair first then comb product through one section at a time.

Leave on for specified time depending on desired results as described within directions (e.g. if removing medium blonde to light brown hair leave for 30 mins, medium browns 50-60 mins).

Flush stripper cream through hair by combing hair from roots to tips with a damp comb for 2 minutes.

Rinse hair under warm water for 5 minutes, working stripper cream out of hair from roots to tips until water runs clear.

Apply Conclude Balm generously to towel dried hair, comb through from roots to tips for 1 minute, leave to develop for 5 minutes and rinse.

My hair was a super dark ash brown almost black and this product did strip it back just enough to dye my hair immediately after to a lighter chocolate brown. Just a tip : for anyone with thick or long hair you will need 2 boxes of the product. Make sure you follow the directions EXACTLY as they’re printed and don’t be scared to use this as it isn’t a strong product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing results I purchased this yesterday and had a deep intense and vibrant purple artificial hair colour and wanted to strip it back and go back to a natural and neutral brunette. Having worked as a hairdresser previously I have done plenty of colour corrections in the past, which have usually involved using bleach to strip and lift the hair. I used this product and skipped the damage involved with the bleaching technique. This product lifted my hair level from a level 3 to a level 6 in one use and my hair felt amazing after using the calming treatment after the initial first steps. I coloured immediately after as followed with the intrsuctions and my hair is now a beautiful natural golden light brown. Could not recommend higher enough, absolutely love the result

I went from dark mahogany to a ginger colour. i then went to hairdresser to have my hair bleached then lavender colored, it worked a treat. Even my hairdresser was impressed, told me I definately skipped a few visits to him to get to my colour. It did dry my hair but nothing some conditioning treatments cant fix.. definately give this a go.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic product. I have to thank whoever was involved in making this product. A hairdresser bleached my previously brown hair a few times to yellow. I naively believed she could Colour it grey... I was embarrassed to be seen in public, so I dyed my hair brown but it went jet black. After googling ways to safely lighten my hair, I found this product. Luckily the chemist warehouse had some in stock. I used 2 boxes on my thick shoulder length hair. It was in my hair for about 20 minutes in total and I could see a nice warm brown so washed it out quite promptly. Followed by an hour long treatment. I am so relieved and I love the colour that I can now maintain. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I’ve had bleach blonde hair a while and have been touching up my roots with dark ash colours and I’ve always just bleached over it damaging my hair even more but I brought this by mistake was supposed to by the pink one I use all the time to remove unwanted colours in my hair and this is amazing literally!!! No damage lighter and back to square one literally brought my hair back to a fresh first bleach! It could go again or be left with a level 8 on the top and look great!!! Too happy Jan! Eden C

I got this product (used it within a week of my accident) and was sceptical but it stripped ALL the colour but I did have to do 2 sessions but definitely worth it. Came out yellow/ orange after the 2nd go but nothing a tone couldn’t fix

I have very damaged hair and was a bit concerned, there was very minimal breakage, even with all the combing. I highly recommend this stuff - just need to tone and my hair will be perfect!

I have very thick hair so i purchased 2 boxes and it stripped some colour roots etc blonde, ends red. I put a medium brown over it and am happy. I can now use a light brown from now on to hide the greys.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Does work Scott Cornwall’s products really do work. This bleach is more gentle than others I have tried and doesn’t reek of ammonia. The only downside is it’s a bit dry and you need a lot of it. One box is barely enough for shoulder length hair. If it were a bit cheaper or provided a bit more product in each box I would definitely give it a 5 star review.

I had to use 3 different stripping products to lighten my hair, this product was the last one I tried, it worked finally. But to be honest i could have used 2 packs to do the job before I went blonde, my hair was still a bit orange. So it all just depends.
