But since the original..so many more different scents and different varieties have followed. Bleue is a very different kind of fragrance. It has quite a kick. At first it is almost over powering.. but give it 10 minutes, and what you have is the most alluring scent. I know with all Issey miyake fragrance that at first they are all very powerful. But wait and let it do its thing.. and the whole experience changes. I am a bit of a baster when it comes to fragrance.. i go silly..but after 20 minutes I can't smell anything.. but everywhere I go I get complemented or ask what is that Heavenly scent you are wearing. So my best advice with Bleue or any other Issey Miyake fragrance is...LESS IS MORE. One or two sprays from a distance and you will smell divine all day. This fragrance is for the over 35 age group.

It smells like sipping green tea in a Japanese garden with a stream flowing nearby. Very green in spite of the name and bottle colour. Invigorating, and more suited for springtime and outdoor activities.

Issey Miyake as a fragrance house makes very unique Japanese fragrances, and this is no exception. Don't be fooled by the blue theme of the bottle, this is a green fragrance. It smells of cypress and is extremely spicy, with rosemary and pink pepper being very prominent to my nose. Sillage is strong while longevity is also strong. Due to the strong sillage and spicy nature of the fragrance,

The orignal is still amazing, and i have had a few other limited editions (green bottle etc), so i thought for $20 odd bucks it would be good for every day after gym and good for work. I've used it for about 2 weeks now and the scent isn't that great. It lasts a while however, it smells a bit cheap and sweet. You will like it when you smell it on the card and after all it's not expensive, but you will tire of it on you.
