General Information

A highly effective overnight facial gel containing 15% Alpha Hydroxy Acid Complex to micro-exfoliate, resurface and diminish skin imperfections.

Reversaderm Corrective Skin Peel is a highly effective overnight facial gel. Containing 15% Alpha Hydroxy Acid Complex of Glycolic, Lactic and Mandelic Acids for a micro-cellular exfoliation to resurface the upper skin layer, remove dead skin cells, unclog pores and help to diminish skin imperfections. Recommended for dull, uneven, sun damaged, aged and acne-scarred skin to improve overall tone and texture for a brighter, more radiant complexion.

Directions

Use twice weekly at night. Apply a small amount all over face after cleansing, leave on and allow to absorb. No rinsing required. Complete your nightly routine with the Reversaderm Collagen Accelerator Serum and Reversaderm Cellular Regeneration Cream. Cleanse face the following morning with Reversaderm Glycolic Cleanser.

A light tingling sensation and cold feeling can occur as the product activates, this is normal but rinse immediately if the tingly becomes too uncomfortable. The intensity of the sensation may increase if serum or cream is applied before the peel has fully absorbed into the skin.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This corrective skin peel comes in a pump package and I found that one pump was enough to do my whole face. I used it twice a week as suggested and noticed that the scars from previous pimples and other facial scaring was less noticeable. It's also helped to even out my areas of redness. I've found it works better on my skin than previous peels I've tried. And had a slight citrusy scent to it that wasn't noticeable after a little while anyways so I would recommend it for anyone with scent issues. It leaves your face feeling a little tacky for a bit but that soon goes away and leaves your skin feeling soft and smooth.

It goes on just like a serum and I had very mild tingling which was great as I knew it was working. It has a nice citrus scent and is very easy to use. I like that I can use this product twice a week and know my skin is getting a powerful punch of active ingredients with plenty of chemical exfoliation, so I no longer have to manually exfoliate. I have been using for a few weeks now and my skin is smoother, lines plumped, and my skin looks hydrated. It’s a product I would like to continue to use as part of my regime due to the power packed ingredients and great results.

I found this peel highly effective in brightening and evening skin tone all within a month! It also cleared up a few of my blemishes quite well too but more so the acne scarring and textured skin. It’s a clear liquid a few pumps of it and its good to go, it smells almost like a citrus scent. It has a cooling sensation and can tingle slightly but it goes away after a bit. I used it twice weekly as per the instructions on the label. I highly, highly recommend this, it was pleasantly surprised at just how effective it was definitely worth it.

This twice weekly corrective peel had a light fruity scent and was absorbed in the skin easily. I experienced a very mild pleasant tingling sensation and used it independently and in conjunction with the collagen accelerator serum and liked the results. My skin feels smooth and plump. The removal of dead skin cells and imperfections has already begun to show and I think that from maintaining this in my regime I will see even more great results! I will continue using this product and would recommend it to anyone looking for a gentle yet effecting easy peel!

I’ve tried a few peels at home that give no sensation feeling and have felt disappointed, so was happy with this one that I could feel it working. I’ve had issues with break-outs and scarring causing uneven skin texture and some redness. It seems this is getting better while I’m consistently using the peel and serum. I also have pigmentation that can spread and get quite dark and it seems it’s kept it minimal. My face is feeling smooth and hydrated and looking more calm and healthy. I like the smell of the skin peel - a fruity fresh scent crossed with a clean scent. I found it easy to use the peel twice a week. I also went away for a night and the cap made it easy to pack, no spills in my bag. I have sensitive skin (allergic to some sunscreens) and have found this serum to be safe for my skin. I’d recommend it.

It is a clear gel consistency, I used 1 pump and that was plenty to cover face and neck. It dries quickly with a slight tingle feeling, but nothing too intense, as I have sensitive skin and this was fine on my skin. It does feel a little tight once it has dried but I then moisturised with a night cream afterwards. The next day after the first 2 weeks I noticed the next morning dry skin patches where it had been working but then went leaving soft skin underneath. It is pricey however for twice weekly it is a good investment as you don't need to use a lot as a little goes a long way. I would purchase again.

I suffer from scarring, pigmentation and uneven skin tone, and after using the serum I’ve definitely noticed a change in my tone and texture. The pigmentation has lightened slightly and I’m sure that will only increase as I increase my use. I feel like after three months I’m going to see such a difference and I can’t wait! The texture feels nice to the touch. I used this at night as part of my nightly routine. My skin feels smooth and supple and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this to anyone else.

The serum was a clear slightly thicker texture. I found it didn’t have much of a smell. I used it twice a week at night as I have also been using a retinol, so didn’t want to overwhelm my skin. I have oily/combination skin and it never felt too over powering for my skin. Since using it I’ve found my skin to be brighter and smoother. I’ve had little to no issues with breakouts and I’ve been able to wear less make up!

At first it felt very sticky on my skin however I soon noticed that the texture of my skin was a lot smoother and the sticky feeling went away. Over the weeks My damaged uneven skin tone improved with each application. I also noticed that my skin was a lot more firm. I enjoyed the fragrance of this skin peel. Definitely recommend this product and I would buy again.

I used this product two times per week in the evening. Applied to my face, freshly cleansed & dry. The sensation was intense tingling. The peel doesn't need to be rinsed off that evening, it stay's on over night. The morning after I had applied the skin peel, I notice my skin feels fresher, brighter and definitely glowier! Over the course of the weeks i have been using it, I have also noticed that the minor scarring I have from old pimples, has reduced! So I am excited to see how it further progresses with further use. Something to note, as with all AHA's, it increases your skin sensitivity to sun so SPF use over following week is a must!! I would definitely recommend this product and other serum's/ creams from the brand however if your skin is on the more sensitive side, then I'd be a bit careful with this skin peel.

It is a chemical skin peel with active ingredients to gently exfoliate the skin without hard gritty bits. It is quite gentle (you may feel a bit of skin tightening or very very minor tingles) and sinks into the skin very well. The consistency is like a watery gel which I love. I’ve been using the corrective skin peel for a month now and applying it 2x a week and in combination with the serum have found slight reductions in my dark spot. My skin also feels softer and smoother the day after when applying makeup. The packaging is amazing - a gorgeous purple pump which feels quite luxurious. Overall, I love the product and look forward to trying the moisturiser in the line!

These are my thoughts on it- Dr Lewinns Reversaderm Skin Peel (30ml for $39.95 direct from Dr Lewinns or $33.99 chemist warehouse)- This is a peel made up of 15% AHAs including Glycolic, Lactic and Mandelic acids. Designed to be used twice weekly at night, I’ve found this to give no reactions even though the instructions list you may feel a tingle or coldness if applying other skincare too soon after. This formula is good for sensitive skin like mine. I already used peels prior to this so I think my skin was somewhat used to them and this slide effortlessly into my routine (as always you must use sunscreen daily with this one which I do due to skin sensitivity). My skin felt smooth and glowy each time I woke up the morning after use and my fine lines, pores and wrinkles weren’t as noticeable and my skin was cleared. It felt like a professional salon facial at home in quality. Designed to reduce hyperpigmentation and sun damage and to unclog and minimise pores, this definitely worked for me. Also loved the airless luxe feeling bottle. The texture wasn’t greasy or heavy on which I gave it extra points for.

I have a dark forehead and the area around my mouth is darker than the rest of my skin so I was hoping that this would help easing that discolouration a little bit. It’s non stock and applies quite easy. The pump dispenses enough product so it’s quite easy and non messy to use. After using this a few times my skin felt more plum, tighter and my forehead discolouration faded slightly. I will continue to use this to see if this would get rid of the discolouration around my mouth area.

I decided on Sunday and Wednesday to keep things consistent and make it easy to remember which nights to use it! Simply use it at night, after cleansing, then follow with your usual nighttime skin care routine, no rinsing required! Apply, it may feel a little tingly but it soon passes and the scent is a fresh citrus like scent. Its very pleasant, Use twice a week. After a month you will start to see some results . My skin is smoother and softer, definitely feels like you have been using a peel, it's gentle though, so no real shredding of skin as such, if you notice it, you can up your moisturisier or massage in some oil at night on the nights you are not using the peel. Use SPF every singe day to protect your skin. My skintone looked more even, radiant and smoother. Definitely a prodiuct to keep on using

This skin peel has made such a huge difference to my acne and scaring from previous acne. It goes on super easy and you really don't need much. After a months use my face has cleared up soooo much. I have never tried Dr. LeWinn's products before and now can't wait to purchase more. Its super quick to dry down/ soak in to the skin and hasn't reacted badly to my moisturizer. The first time I used it it tingled a little bit but not in a painful way at all. I have even recommended it to my younger sister for her acne scarring. I highly recommend this product to anyone with skin issues like acne scarring. It's even cleared up the texture on my cheeks that's bothered me for years.

I already use Dr Lewinn's cleanser and toner so decided to pick up the Reversaderm Skin Peel based on really good reviews - and those people where right! I've used it 3 times already and can see results. My rosasia is hardly noticeable and the texture is already so much smoother. Gives so much insentive to keep using it and have since purchased the serum as well. Definitely saved my skin

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My new Holy Grail product! This. Is. Amazing! I have just purchased this night peel and had to leave a review as I was so impressed by results after only a week of use. More specifically, after my first use of the peel my skin was in the best condition it has been in since had my last facial! I have issues with melasma/hyperpigmentation, closed comedones and sensitive skin. I have tried a huge amount of products to try and remedy this spending way too much in the process - especially as I have now found this product. After only a week, my melasma is showing signs of lightening I only found with expensive and painful laser treatments which didn't fully remove it (I can't wait to see my results in 12 weeks!). I had recently used a sunscreen which clogged my skin and was looking for a refresher and after one night's use my skin was glowing and the closed comedones were 50% gone. I never give reviews for products but this one deserved this review I've given. I hope everyone else who uses this has the same amazing results I have had.
