General Information

OPTIFAST VLCD Chocolate Desserts (Pack of 8) are part of a nutritionally complete, very low calorie diet program, which contains all of the nutrients required for safe and effective weight loss.

Our OPTIFAST VLCD Desserts provide complete nutrition with two delicious flavours for you to satisfy your sweet tooth.

Every dessert contains 28 essential vitamins and minerals to assist with safe and effective weight loss on the OPTIFAST Program. High in protein and a source of fibre, these desserts offer tasty nutrition that can be consumed in place of a meal.

The OPTIFAST Program is scientifically designed to help you achieve effective weight loss results. Whichever program level you're on, OPTIFAST VLCD Desserts can be used to replace one, two or three meals. OPTIFAST VLCD is classified as a very low energy diet (VLED) and not a meal replacement. A VLED can be used as a total diet replacement, meaning you can replace all 3 meals with specially formulated VLED products, such as OPTIFAST VLCD. With a meal replacement, you can only replace 1-2 meals per day.

Directions

Add one sachet of OPTIFAST VLCD to 200mL of cold water in a shaker. Shake vigorously. Immediately pour dessert into a bowl. Leave to stand for 5 minutes preferably in a refrigerator. Alternatively, add one sachet of OPTIFAST VLCD to 200mL of cold water to a bowl and mix vigorously with a whisk or fork. Leave to stand for 5 minutes preferably in a refrigerator. All prepared products should be tightly covered and consumed within 4 hours at room temperature or within 24 hours if refrigerated.

USAGE ADVICE

Total diet replacement for the dietary management of overweight and obesity.
OPTIFAST Program is intended for use as part of the management of people who are obese or overweight when there is associated secondary pathology e.g. non-insulin dependent diabetes, hypertension, osteoarthritis, hypothyroidism corrected by replacement therapy, gynaecological disorders, hyperlipidaemia or where obesity is an impediment to surgery.

I now had a diet conscious dessert, guilt free, being a chocoholic and love sweets this was great. I’ve lost weight and still getting my chocolate kick. Now I have it every morning instead of Milo for breakfast and just by putting a little more milk or water I end up with a great tasting THICK shake. I do hope that Optifast dessert chocolate is continually available and never change the recipe.
