My hair was still brassy which was not really a problem as I plan on going lighter then toning. It does have a strong smell which made my eyes water when I bleached the front section of my hair. Overall, the bleach powder isnt too bad if your on a budget. It does the job.

I had mad Orange from my previous brown-to-blonde ombre and wanted to get rid of it.. I used this bleach powder combined w/ 20 vol Vitality Creme Developer, and again with Hi-Lift 30vol developer. It does a good job of toning and minor lightening, if that's what you're after, yes it is gentle but definitely not good if you want that Ultra light Bleach blonde like I was after :) I definitely prefer the Hi-Lift bleach powder if I'm honest.
