Information

Schwarzkopf Colour Specialist is a permanent hair colour with up to 100% grey coverage.

The Colour Care System helps the pigments penetrate deep into the hair locking in the colour.

Contains OMEGAPLEX and hydrating Hyaluronic Acid that cares for and protects the hair against breakage. Both during and after colouring.

1. PREPARATION

Before colouring your hair, remove the gloves supplied from the back of the instructions

leaflet and put them on. Cover your clothes with an old towel. Have a watch nearby so you can check the processing time.

Please apply Colour Specialist on dry, unwashed hair.

2. MIXING

Unscrew the cap of the application bottle. Pierce the colour cr?me tube, with the reverse side of the cap.

Carefully squeeze the entire contents into the application bottle. Place the cap back on the application bottle and close it securely. Shake the bottle vigorously until all ingredients are mixed into a smooth cream.

Twist off the tip of the cap and immediately start with the application process.

ATTENTION: The colour of the mixture of some shades changes during the application process. This has no impact on the final colour result.

3.A FULL HEAD APPLICATION

This method is recommended if:

? you are colouring your hair permanently for the first time.

? your previous hair colour has completely grown out or has been washed away.

Apply the entire mixture, strand after strand, onto all of your hair.

3.B REGROWTH APPLICATION

This method is recommended if:

? your hair has been coloured and the regrowth is visible.

?the ends of your hair are darker or in poor condition. At first, apply 2/3 of the mixture throughout the whole regrowth area.

To do this, part a section of your hair using the tip of the application bottle. Apply the mixture along the parting and distribute it evenly into the roots with your fingertips (leave supplied gloves on). Repeat this procedure for the whole regrowth area.

Leave on to develop for 20 minutes.

4. DISTRIBUTE

Distribute the mixture evenly with your fingertips. Leave on your hair to develop for 30 minutes for a FULL HEAD APPLICATION and 10 minutes for REGROWTH APPLICATION. *

*For shade 9-1 and 10-1 check out leaftlet for recommended application time.

5. RINSE & AFTER TREATMENT

At the end of processing time, apply warm water to the hair and work into lather. Rinse thoroughly until the water runs clear.

Afterwards, apply the after colouring repair mask onto towel-dried hair and leave it in for 2 minutes. Rinse thoroughly. Depending on the length of your hair, the mask can be used for 1-2 applications.

After 3 weeks, apply the after 3 weeks repair mask onto towel-dried hair and leave it in for 2 minutes. Rinse thoroughly.

Read and follow instructions. This product is not intended for use on persons under the age of 16. Temporary "black henna" tattoos may increase your risk of allergy. Do not colour your hair if:
- you have a rash on your face or sensitive, irritated and damaged scalp,
- you have ever experienced any reaction after colouring your hair,
- you have experienced a reaction to a temporary "black henna" tattoo in the past.

Conduct an allergy alert test 48 hours before each time you colour (see enclosed leaflet), even if you have already used colouring products before. So remember to buy the product 48 hours in advance. In case of any reaction or when in doubt consult a doctor before using any hair colour product. Avoid contact with eyes. Rinse eyes immediately if product comes into contact with them. Wear suitable gloves.

This time around i was unhappy with my hair colour from the salon and i didnt want to spend more $$ redying it so i figured ill do my research and dye my hair myself. I just wanted to go darker brown but have a cool tone so that wasnt too hard. I stumbled across this hair dye and looked up the reviews and they were quite positive so i figured lets give it a try since its one of schwarzkopfs latest box dyes. Im so happy i did because not only did my hair turned out the colour i wanted but its also majorly soft. My hair feels like i went to the salon. Even better actually. The colours not leaving me with very dark but its a nice dark with a tinge of ash brown. Its similar to the picture on the box. Very impressed.

The colour I tried is 5.1 cool ash brown and is true to colour no red or copper hues which is usually what happens with other dyes. Love the colour and texture of my hair. Schwarzkopf are the true specialist of hair dye.
