QV Baby Barrier Cream soothes baby's skin & helps protect against nappy rash. It is also suitable to help protect against infant facial rash, heat rash, chafing, infant eczema and sensitive skin.

Nappy rash is the most common skin condition that can affect your little one during infancy¹. That's why we developed paediatrician-recommended QV Baby Barrier Cream. The soothing, rich formula helps protect delicate skin against nappy rash. It forms a barrier that shields baby's skin from water, detergents, chemicals and other irritants. QV Baby Barrier Cream's non-sticky, non-greasy, low-irritant formulation and moisturising base also helps to rehydrate skin and prevent moisture loss from baby's soft bottom.

Warnings

Ingredients

Directions

At nappy change, remove wet and soiled nappy and clean area thoroughly. Apply QV Baby Barrier Cream to affected skin at every nappy change. Pay particular attention to ensure application to the folds of the baby's skin.

They are prone to nappy rash every so often and it can cause them so much pain and is often hard to clear up. The QV baby barrier cream is paediatrician-recommended and seems to really sooth their sensitive skin. We usually have no tears when applying, even on particularly sore areas. The cream is not sticky or greasy but seems to provide an excellent shield. I find that the rash often clears in a couple of days after using the QV baby barrier cream. I’d definitely recommend it to all parents of young children.

A little goes a long way, easy to open and apply. The tube makes it easy to get out every last bit so there is no wasting of the product. When applied, it did not have a strong scent and dlwas not greasy however left a moisturised barrier layer which seemed to soothe until the next nappy change. Redness appeared to be minimised. This was also great for the redness on my babies skin between folds of skin which occurs regularly. It helped to keep the area moisturised and non abrasive therefore reduced redness

When teething, my daughter had quite bad nappy rash, which was about when I started QV barrier cream. The cream helped sooth the rash, which slowly faded after a day or so. From them, it served as a good nappy rash cream and we haven’t had any major nappy rashes since (touch wood) I like that it is in a tube- easy to squirt onto finger when doing nappy change without having to dip fingers into a tub. It also doesn’t feel greasy and sticky on your hand after, which I’m sure is a good sign on how it’s be feeling on Bub too

The nappy rash happened very quickly and caused a lot of discomfort to my 1 year old. My toddler was crying from a sore bottom after a teething poo and not only did it stop the next round hurting and crying, protecting so well. It also helped give the skin a chance to calm and was better the next day. Initially I wasn’t sure if this was up to the job as the cream is like only a bit thicker than a moisturiser but I was thoroughly impressed. The cream has no fragrance, another bonus as well as the zinc oxide to protect and heal.

Especially impactful for my 2-year old's eczema condition. I have used many other products before for her to deal with bad nappy rashes due to eczema flare, but now I'm not looking for anything other than QV. I use it for them before bed every night, helps with keeping rashes away during long nights in night dippers, when you are not looking to change too many of them. It works wonders for me :)

It's not just for nappy rash – I've also used it on her occasional drool rash that caused some irritation on her chin. It's become my go-to solution for any minor skin irritation. A quick application of QV soothed the redness and irritation noticeably, preventing the rash from worsening. The only thing that might be a drawback for some is the consistency. It's not super thick, which some might prefer for a barrier cream. However, I find the lighter texture applies easily and doesn't leave any unwanted clumps. Plus, it absorbs quickly, so I don't have to worry about it tugging at her skin when rubbing it in which can cause tears when she’s going through a rash. She has sensitive skin and during that time I have not seen an irritation or redness on my baby's skin. I use it whenever I see nappy rash appearing and the next day her skin is not red anymore. The cream has no fragrance and is not sticky. It's not too thick nor too sticky. I am happy to keep using the QV barrier cream on my baby's sensitive skin. I recommend this for cream for anyone looking for a cream for their baby who has sensitive skin.

My baby always got bad rashes when teething and the QV nappy rash cream was the only one that actually helped. I would apply it after every nappy change and before bed. If she had a bad rash at night and I'd apply the cream the rash would be almost gone in the morning where with other creams I had tried it almost didn't do anything. I am so glad I found this one as it has helped me and my Bub so much. Highly, highly recommend!

I apply to my children's bottom at each nappy change and this has prevented any events of a nappy rash. It spreads very easily and is not stiff like other barrier creams on the market. It really prevents any irritation and forms a barrier from the skin and the nappy, chemicals, detergents, urine and poo. Safe to use on kids and babies as well as adults. It's definitely a nice texture and non greasy or sticky so can wipe off easily. Comes in a nice compact tube which can be carried around in a handbag.

I have two sons and the struggle to prevent nappy rash is real. I have used so many products to prevent any rash to skin but ended up using steroids to cure it. However once I started using QV barrier cream I regret to not choose it before. QV barrier cream does miracle to my baby’s skin. The average of getting nappy rash become very low. Best thing is I no longer have to use any steroids on my baby’s delicate skin. I recommend this product to every mom.

I have been using it from since she was a baby and I even used it on my other kids and because of the amazing results I get from it every time that’s why I always went back to using this one. We have tried some other brand, some are either too hard to spread or too thin, when baby feels uncomfortable he refused to put nappy on. QV barrier cream is well accepted. We also receivd the Baby Moisturising Cream which is our favorate. I got a sample of this to try on. Initially I wasn’t sure what a “barrier cream” stands for, but by reading the descriptions etc I figured it out. I was a bit hesitant to try it on my baby, as when I put it on him, it was a little bit white – different than the ones I have used in the past. However, I did find it very light and easy to apply all over bub’s bum. Also when there’s a little rash present, it certainly helps relieve and treat the area and baby feels better. Happy baby, happy mum. I would recommend it to other parents.

My baby had some red inflammation from nappy rash which was soothed to a pale pink after just one use. It creates a good barrier to keep skin protected from harsh urine or acidic poos from starting solids. It helps to warm the cream between your fingers before putting on baby's bum as the cool cream can be a bit of a surprise for baby. However, once the cream is on my baby does not seem bothered, and if she has any redness or irritation in her nappy area she seems calmed once the cream has been applied. This cream can also be used on itchy bites, it's fantastic for mosquito bites to take away the itching, stinging and inflammation. It can be helpful to cover the itchy bite so you don't get cream on your clothes or furniture while it works it's magic helping you feel better too.

With that said I really liked this QV Baby Barrier Cream. The thick and creamy consistency means it stays put and keeps babies bum nice and nappy rash free. I love how easy it is to repurchase this product as it’s in pretty much every pharmacy possible which is great for this time poor mumma. I also like the price point for this product it’s really affordable and you can often find it discounted at Priceline. I would highly recommend to anyone not currently happy with their barrier cream brand.

I thought no way is it this easy to get out but it is! And once you actually manage to get it out of the tube other creams can be an absolute nightmare to actually rub on but not this one! It has such good coverage of their little bottoms, it’s easy to spread around and it actually works! Since using the QV baby bum cream my baby’s nappy rash is non existent, it has been an absolute game changer. 10/10 will always reccommend this one to all the mums I know, and it is being added to new baby baskets from now on.

So I can say with confidence that I love this nappy cream; and that in comparison to other nappy creams on the market, this is definitely my favourite. I never realised it could help with facial rashes/heat rash etc though and when I did apply it on bub's face, didn't really notice a difference. so I'm not sure how effective it is in that regard... However, the texture is great - it is soft/smooth/spreads easily and thick. I also found it effective for redness/nappy rash. 10/10 recommend.

It came in a tube that is very comfortable and easy to use and the texture was thinner than the one we previously used. It kept his little tooshie nourished and comfortable in his nappie. We are still testing this cream and will continue to until finished as we haven’t had a red bum to test the cream so far but taking the QV products into consideration we are highly confident that the barrier cream will provide the same results as other creams

It can help with infant facial rash, heat rash, excema and sensitivity in all areas. The cream really helps to rehydrate skin and replace moisture. Make sure to pat skin dry before applying. The pH-balanced cream works as a protective, soothing barrier on the skin. Suitable from the very new newborns to little kids for any concerns. Also has been useful for my older son on some grazes from concrete.

I always put it on at night, in the morning the redness always clears up. Doesn't have a strong smell and it seems quite calming. Sometimes my son complains when I put on other major rash creams, I'm not sure if it's because it stings or be doesn't like the smell but he doesn't have a problem with this one. I have also heard zinc oxide (the ingredient in QV baby barrier cream) is great to use for adults for skin slugging in winter. I haven't tried it yet but when the weather gets colder and drier I will try use it for that.

Effective for my baby diaper rash due to long traveling time with diaper on. Definitely will recommend and continue using this barrier cream product.
