Rated 5 out of 5 by from I'm happy. I naturally have honey/copper coloured hair. I had it bleached by the hair dresser tho I put the shade darkest brown hair dye over it three times. I Used this product and My hair is now an auburn/brown colour which I'm really happy with, I knew it would turn copper like because of all the dark buildup on my hair. I left it in for an hour with a shower cap on. Conditioner after feels great in the hair. I have curly hair and it didn't damage it so I'm happy, the smell is a bit odd but nothing bad. Would use again.

A lot of reviews here seem to be from people who just didn’t read if it was suitable for their hair (ie vibrant colours and some blacks won’t have the chemical reaction needed to remove the colour), or they didn’t read the instructions twice, as recommended. Look, it’s hard on your hair, no question, but not as hard as bleach. The smell is no different to salon smells. It washes out, as long as you Follow. The. Instructions. Ie rinse it for 5 minutes, then use the shampoo for 1 minute. It stripped years of colour build up from my dyed blonde hair, which I can now colour to the Ash Blonde I want. The colour I am left with is pretty orange! But nice and light and not dull. I recommend this product, definitely

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A must have! I was a bit sceptical about this but I’m so glad I took the chance on it! I went from jet black hair to auburn in 1 sitting! Saturated my hair in this and left it on for 45-50 minutes to get this result! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Just to let you guys that gave this product a one star a heads up.The most likely reason that some of you are giving this five stars and others are not achieving the same results is that this product will only remove traditional permanent and semi permanent colours. A lot of the new fashion shades are direct dyes. This will not remove this type of colour, even if it’s pastel pink.

Wrapped my head in glad wrap and sat for 30 minutes. Better than forking out huge prices at a salon! Smells like rotten eggs though ,so good ventilation whist applying is a must.

I washed my hair with baby cleanser first as per the instructions, then left it in for about an hour wrapped in glad wrap. Yes it smells like Scott bottled his farts but that goes once you wash your hair.

Successfully got back to blonde and the smell while definitley not pleasent, reminded me of the sent of any salon of been in. A deep wash and the smell was gone

It worked so well and my hair is so soft and feels super healthy, definitely recommend for anymore who had a bad dye job.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does the job I dyed my hair a permanent dark brown that turned out black so I didn’t want to necessarily remove the colour, just lessen it. It worked perfectly. It is now a mid to dark brown and it still covered the greys. It does smell pretty bad even after a few washes.

Very brassy, yes, but not an ugly colour by any means! I want to go lighter to put a fashion colour in, so I think 1 more go with this product I should be good to go on to lightening with bleach!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Miracle product I used this when I had dyed my hair too dark. It took all of the dye out of my hair and returned my hair to the colour before I had dyed it. Great product. Using hair dye damages your hair and I was so worried that using this was going to turn my hair to straw. However it didn 't!!! This product is designed not to cause damage to your hair. This feature is a godsend particularly so when you've already had one hair colour mistake. Miracle product if you ask me. I love it.

I had dark brown hair and it is now a nice light brown! I think one more time doing it will completely bring my natural back out! I left it on for 45 minutes in cling wrap. My hair feels so soft and looks amazing!! Love the product so much

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love it. I’ve used this product several times over several years. I just recently used it and I have to say that it doesn’t smell as bad as when I’d previously used it. Don’t let the reviews about the smell deter you. This is a really good product to help remove colour so you can start again. It wont magically bring your natural colour back but it does get your hair light enough to start again. It has never damaged my hair and I have been able to colour soon after with no issues.

It worked so so well - still a bit of brassiness but took me back up to a blonde. Would recommend. Even though my hair wasn't that dark - I did leave on for 45 minutes and applied the hairdryer for 10 minutes covered with cling wrap. Make sure just to wash you hair with shampoo before hand - no conditioner :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product I had long thick hair with dirty blonde regrowth on top and bleach blonde at the bottom. I put a mahogany semi on it (for the red), then a dark brown. It was way too dark, even after 10 washes. So I grabbed 2 packs of the Decolour and gave it a shot. So happy I did. I followed the instructions (note - you shampoo your hair and then dry it thoroughly before adding the remover..it feels horrible but ends up fine). I also wrapped my hair in cling wrap and blow dried it for 10 mins as suggested. I left the product on for 45 mins. My hair went from darkest brown with yucky red highlights to a lovely dark blonde/auburn which is really even despite my natural vs bleach mess. Yay! And..the smell is really not that bad and was gone the next day. It doesn’t damage your hair so give it a shot.

You need to get any product out by washing without conditioner and allowing to dry before you use it. I'm not sure if that's why it didn't work for some people? The smell is mild and not too bad, it's nothing compared to colouring hair. Highly recommend
