MULTIPLE PACKS
Dispensing multiple packs or multiple repeats of prescription medication
- As pharmacists we must always comply explicitly with your doctors prescribed directions this includes the quantity of the prescription goods to be supplied. Therefore the only time we can supply an increased quantity of a prescribed medicine is if the doctor prescribes that quantity for you.
AUTHORITY PRESCRIPTION
- Some PBS medications are restricted and require prior approval from Medicare before a doctor is able to prescribe them on the PBS. This prior approval to prescribe grants the doctor the Authority to prescribe the desired medicine and have it funded under the PBS.
Authority to prescribe an Authority medicine is granted for specific indications and/or for certain patient circumstances. Authority may be obtained by telephone to Medicare Australia (known as "phone approval") or in writing from an authorised delegate of the Minister for Health.
Prescriptions must be written on an Authority Prescription Form, and the approval number must be noted on the prescription. Pharmacists cannot dispense the item as a pharmaceutical benefit unless it has been approved by Medicare Australia (indicated by the presence of the approval number).
Some drugs may have Authority Required (Streamlined) status which does not require an explicit approval from Medicare, instead the doctor can use the Authority code found in the published Schedule for a given drug/indication.
But still pharmacists cannot dispense the item as a pharmaceutical benefit unless it has the necessary Authority code.

Always use this product with adult supervision. Accidents have occurred when babies have been left alone with drinking equipment due to the baby falling or if the product has disassembled.
Never use feeding teats/nipples (delete as appropriate) as a soother/pacifier (delete as appropriate).
Continuous and prolonged sucking of fluids will cause tooth decay. Tooth decay in young children can occur even when non-sweetened fluids are used. This can occur if the baby is allowed to use the bottle for long periods through the day and particularly through the night, when saliva flow is reduced or if it is used as a soother/pacifier (delete as appropriate).
Always check food temperature before feeding. Heating in a microwave oven may produce localised high temperatures. Take extra care when microwave heating. Always stir heated food to ensure even heat distribution and test the temperature before serving.

Excellent bottles
I had to start expressing and bottle feeding my daughter from 3wks. I hurriedly purchased the closer to nature bottles and found them so easy to use, clean and assemble. My daughter took to it straight away. I never found her to become extra windy from using the bottles. When she was old enough to grasp she grasped the bottles and self fed with these bottles easily. Like the different sizes and different teats for age appropriation.

Love it
I breastfeed my little one for a year then i transit her on bottles, first I tried few other bottles she did not accept, she accepted these bottles quickly so it was really a life saver for me. It has good shape and heigh quality nipple. It’s good for price and I would highly recommend it to others.

Easy to use
Bub takes comfort in the feet shape. Able to feed from chest to simulate Breast feeding. Good sized bottles for parents hands and for Bub to start grabbing as they grow. Good sized neck on bottle to allow easy formula intake. Very good quality teet and Bottle. Easy to clean and sanitise

Easy and effective
Absolutely love this bottle. Extremely effective in delivering the feed and very easy to use. It’s the perfect size and shape. You can feed from this on your chest to mimic a natural breast feed. I tried a few different bottle before I found this excellent one. No going back now. Definitely recommend, it’s a great investment or gift!
